Basically he is selling the "shell" of former companies traded on the pink sheets. Rather than form a company, and go through the process of getting listed on the pink sheets, the "new company" buys out an old company that is currently listed on the pink sheets.
This is why you see Guthrie's name tagged on so many different companies. He "buys" out companies for pennies on the dollar, just for their pink sheet listings.
Is it illegal? Not really.
However, a company traded on the pink sheets is pretty much worthless without trading volume.
So, if there is no "real" Commonwealth American Financial Group (CWFG) business, per se, it could be that Guthrie is trying to maintain trading volume in his company until he can "sell" (or merger in tech speak) his company as a shell. The fact that there IS trading volume makes his shell worth more money.
Notice how most of his "company" we pages all look the same? Notice how many he is involved with?
This is just speculation, however, but it COULD be what he is doing. I can tell you that I won't be around too long to find out.

Wow - I thought I had learned some things in the past couple of months....There is a lot more to his "shell" thing for me to find out about...Is there a source available that has a list of these "shell" companies, or a way to find out if a particular company is a "shell"

It's also possible that someone just made that little 1 page website? How hard would it be to do that? It's just a one page advertisement. Not hard at all in my opinion. Could be someone is trying to discredit CWFG? Just throwing out an idea here.

I dont know how hard it is to get a FEMA #..... but I'm sure they were giving them out like train tickets at the subway during the crisis that took place.... also I may be completly wrong and maybe CWFG had to go thru some backround investigation .... or showing some sort of business credentials ..... I would like to hear other opinions on the FEMA approval

I agree with Jmoove. I still believe he's got a legit company in CWFG.
And the pinksheetshells.com web address is registered to Guthrie. Just go to checkdomain.com and type in the address. Look at the date of registration, too.
Here's the thing, guys. Let's say that, worst case scenario, the CWFG company IS a shell he's trying to sell.
As I mentioned, for the shell to be worth anything, it has to have volume. So Guthrie would have to keep pumping PR's into this thing to keep the volume moving. If he doesn't do anything to move the price, the stock flat lines at 0.0001, and no one buys, and no one sells. Except for the MM's of course. And his shell becomes worthless because he can't show a potential buyer that it has volume.
So he's got to keep trying to move the price.
On the other hand, if he has 1 million in financing to buy and sell shells, and 100 million to buy bulletin board shells, he is probably in the loan business.
So I wouldn't worry TOO much about this, but it just goes to show you what a little sleuthing can do!

ok, guys and gals, i have been dating this girl thats is in banking, she knows alot of folks with company, and has stated that the company is secure, and they have been around for years. as far as the web page, that does not look like any buildings here in st pete. hmm go figure. like rules said, lets just get the water out of the boat, and get it above water....

Yeah, you'd think that even if this was a shell scam, someone would be pumping this up to 4 or 5 right about now, just so they could make some cash on the dump.... Unless this is being kept down in preparation for a big pump... in which case, if we hold strong, we'll be okay.
If we're talking worst case scenarios and the FEMA contracts never happen, then the real question becomes: When will this stock get pumped and why are they waiting so long? This pink-sheet shell company website thing is another nasty harbinger of shadowy work at play ...
I'm suspicious that they (the MM and/or Guthrie/the principal owners) are trying to force this to STAY down at 1 for a while, shaking out every last possible person, including those that recently bought at 2. Then we'll finally see some PR and a brief run, and at the peak of the run we'll have the dump or dilution. But, again, sell on the upswing and you'll be fine, if you didn't buy in at too high of an average.
I hope the more optomistic view is right, though -- and this IS completely legit and some nice PR, FEMA or otherwise, will hit soon. But we don't have a very solid timeline for success here, either way...
I'd love to free up this money for some other plays, and I'm worried we'll be stuck at 1 forever. But if it's a shakedown, then that's the point. So everyone would be best off holding out, even if it takes the rest of the year, IMHO. (We've hit absolute bottom, so it can't get too much worse.... unless they're really cruel and stupid and decide to dillute at rock bottom prices).
Anyone have current Level II's? How're we lookin'?

eh, its not much vol in the grand scheme but atleast its more than what we have been getting.
IMO its just that the stock is starting to trade normally after the split. Honestly its only about $8k in MF, so there isnt much buying interest, but itll come

Hey Fairly - where do you see this going - L2's make no sense to me - Wondering if the MM's really are running out of shares? Volume slowing coming back....I rentered my sell at 3, but cancelled it again. Thinking something might be going on, somethings fishy in Denmark, and I don't think it's the smelt.....

I've checked every source I know of, and nobody has anything at all.
I left a message for Guthrie just a few minutes ago, and am waiting for him to return the call, not that I expect him to.
I doubt if there is any news coming that we will here about anyway. My thoughts are the MM's are in trouble on this one. Ghost shares prior to the split maybe, but something is definately going on here.
