How about everybody drop the f/s trying to make everyone understand. This is getting ridiculous. Divide the number of shares you have by 100, then multiply that number by 50 and I guarantee you monday morning you will have that number in your account.
posted
PS - forgot to add this. Add that number with the number of shares you already own and that will be the number of shares you have in your account Monday.
Example 1000 / 100 = 10 X 50 = 500 + your original 1000 = 1500.

okay- didn't want to set off a panic but now it's after close so i'll mention this. old hands already know but most newbies don't, so explaining it now will blunt the panic that's coming monday a.m. on this. here's the straight skinny:
most of you will NOT be able to electronically trade your shares come monday morning. it may be several days before you can trade them. meanwhile, you "may" be able to trade them with a phone call to your broker, unless ceo whatshisname is REALLY filthy and opts to do hardcopy transfer, in which case you all have to wait 'til a messenger gets your new shares to your broker's office. BIG RED I am with you. Today's my B'day so I'm outta here. Everyone have a great weekend and I hope you the best come Monday whether you divided your shares away or multiplied your shares to have more than everyone else hahahaha. C - YA!!!! :-)
number of shares multiply by 1.5 = number of shares post split
3 divided by 2 = 1.5
2 for 1 split = 2 divided by 1 = 2
and so on
my point with the 33% was that someone simply mis multiplied bc it looks like 33% if you are simply looking at the Pre and post o/s numbers...eh, just look above and thats how many shares youll have lol
Have a good weekend all

Happy Birthday Shome!! I hope you have a super weekend!
And on another note, if anyone plans on buying or selling on Monday, check with your brokerage firm. I believe that Ameritrade charges ALOT for a phone trade. It's posted somewhere on the website. I don't know about the other firms though.

If you have 100 shares and increase it by 50% how many shares will you have 150 right.
100 X .50 (50%) = 50 100+50=150
If you have 100 shares and increase it by 33% how many shares will you have 133 right.
100 X .33 (33%) = 33 100+33=133
So which is correct???
I will not say another word on it. Simply mathematics. to multiple percentage you move decimal 2 places to the left and multiple then add back to original number.
Just look at the ticker for this stock for eample. If the pps is .0002 and it goes to .0003 then it will show a 50% increase .
I think people are seeing 2/3rds in there head instead of 2 increasing to 3. A 33% increase of 2 is only 2.66, a 50% increase of 2 is 3.
Good luck all

Geezus.. I know it's a 50% gain. But if you look at it like this.. if you have 100shs then after the 3:2, have 150 shs, which IS a 50% raise, it also looks like that 50 is 1/3 of 150.. But trust me, I know math too.. okay? enough now? Can we go on from here? Oh, and the price will start lower. It's figured opposite of the # of shs that way your total is actually the same price-wise.
Shs: 3:2 split = 100shs divided by 2 x 3 = 150 PPS: = .0003 divided by 3 x 2 = .0002. That's for a SPLIT, not for a dividend like I think BTSI is giving.

Well it is a scary thought. Logic dictates that if you increase the o/s, which a f/s does, then the pps will decrease by an equal percentage. What they are trying to do is caught shorty but the problem with that is the ones giving out the increased shares are shorty so they will only issue even more short shares to cover those who don't really own real shares. This is a common practice. We will see if it causes a short squeeze this time but it hasn't in the past.

Agree, that is exctaly what i was thinking. It first sounds a very good deal it give you extra shares, but think about O/S. It takes more buys to increase the PPS. TO me it will keep diluting unless some really good PR comes out. Sorry guys i don't want to be negative, but that is how i really think. I think this is a smart scam. i am not in this that is why i am not bias~ i maybe wrong. good luck guys.

email from CEO Guthrie... Looks like we will get answers in the near future... From Damian Guthrie Add Sender Sent Friday, September 30, 2005 3:19 am To XXXX Subject Re: Shareholder questions. Dear XXXX
Thank you for your interest in CWMF. We will be answering your questions and other shareholder queries after the forward split has been finally completed.
In relation to whether I own stock in CWMF the answer is yes.
Hello Mr. Guthrie, I am a new shareholder in Commonwealth and am hoping that you can answer a few questions. First, can you reveal share structure/ I'm wondering what the total authorized and total outstanding are. Also, do you own shares in the company and what is the float? Lastly. I noticed in a recent press release that you mentioned the possibility of new acquisitions. Is the reason for the forword split related to these? If not, why did you decide to do a forword split at the present time? Thank you in advance for your reply. XXXX
