AMEP has hit the lower regression channel here on the 10 day setting. The bottom imo is around .057 with .052 being second support. Resistance 1 is at .06 then .067 .071 .078 after. Most indicators are showing oversold with the PCR almost topped showing a possible buy signal coming up

Mainers will be asked to cut back on electricity use during the coldest evenings this winter to help preserve New England's power system, the state's top utility regulator said Tuesday.
Tight supplies of natural gas, which fuels as much as 40 percent of the region's generating capacity, could make some power plants unavailable during periods of peak demand, said Kurt Adams, chairman of the Maine Public Utilities Commission. In the worst case, that could force regional grid operators to shut off power for as long as an hour to customers in various areas, a strategy known as a rolling blackout. http://pressherald.mainetoday.com/news/state/051026power.shtml

www.****************: Market Gainer releases profile for American Energy Production, Inc. 11/7/05
Nov 07, 2005 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- **************** strives to find dynamic issues that are unknown but because of their technology, approach, executive team, recent discoveries or other key factors, could advance in the market. **************** has identified the following company based on these criteria. American Energy Production, Inc., (OTCBB:AMEP) a business development company, invests in other companies that acquire, develop, produce, explore, and sell oil and gas.
Shares decrease 9% as a mere 10 million in volume exchanges hands far lower than the company's average of 26 million. Today's irregular stock activity comes as the company reveals two of AMEP Investees Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. and Oil America Group have initiated work on an extensive 3D seismic study on 2500+ acres, consisting of two tracts, in Central and North Central Palo Pinto County, Texas. The purpose of the seismic evaluation is to prepare the way for the re-entry and deepening of two existing wells by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. into the Barnett Shale formation with horizontal lines and two proposed new joint venture horizontal Barnett Shale wells to be drilled by Oil America Group over the next few months.
"We know the Barnett Shale formation is there. The question is what is the best way to approach its development? The purpose of this study is to develop a clearer picture of the formation in order to attempt to use the specific characteristics of the formation underlying these tracts to our advantage. There are naturally occurring fractures in the formation and we want use the data of this 3-D seismic shoot in both our lateral direction of drilling, and the design of the hydraulic "slick water" fracture used to complete the wells." said Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc.
Market Gainer will be keeping an eye on this company as it pushes its way into the oil and gas sector.

Well, 12 MM's at .05 even, so it isn't going lower than that. I think people are just getting impatient. The last two PR's have sent the price down almost immediately. We need the MUTHA news to get this one going way north again.

Nothing has come out to pressure the price up. Don't thinbk the uptrend will hold and we'll probably bleed off pps during the day to finish around yesterday's close.

ng price per btu has fallen in the recent weeks because the demand is low.Wait until we get our first cold snap, guess what?It will go up as fast as it went down.On an average it will cost the consumer about 325.00 more this winter to heat their home with ng,which is down from the original estimate of 365.Big deal thats alot of money on the board. We will see this stock trade where it should be on the first cold snap.I couldnt believe that i picked up shares *.059 outstanding

Hey, regret never being able to go visit with the AMEP brass as I thought I would--been too busy to even trade, lately. But many made some dough on this one...
Anyway, just wondering if any of you "Barnett Shale" players ever played or looked into Quicksilver? They gotta huge play in the Barnett...
