FOT I'd like to follow up on DQ's question. I read everything available on the symmetrical triangle at stock charts chartschool. But it left me a few questions.
1. Chartschool didn't specifically say anything about it, but if I am understanding this correctly, investors are accumulating on speculation, insider knowledge, etc. The triangle could be considered to be predicting a PR in this instance (75% of the time the triangle will break in the direction of the long term trend). Is that correct?
2. Using the given methods for determining price target, I came up with a price target for the breakout to be about .0041. I assume that is why you plan to sell some shares at .004 - .005. The available info on price target wasn't very extensive. Is it common for a run to blow past the target price?

This would be the time to roll the dice and buy before the news (If it comes out today) If news does come out and you haven't bought you'll be chasing the price due to the low float. Good luck to all.

Ease off guys -- Shnak is cool -- the news thing is just odds -- go look at every release they have put out, and the vast majority of the are 9-930, with some 10's so if we get past 10 ET without a PR then the odss based on past performance are over 90% that no news is coming.
Ky -- come in spend 30 seconds on the board and start judging. Someone woke up on the worng side of the bed. Must be vacation withdrawl.

FOT. I have a question: I see good picks come from you CONGRATS! I wanted to know your method of picking. I see you are heavy on the charts and I am trying to learn to read better. Question: Do you consider charts as your first priority in choosing a stock. Or are you more concerned with the company and where they are headed as far as growth, PR's due etc? Please don't say both..that's to easy. The reason I ask is that it all seems catch 22. In my eyes a chart must come second because a chart only shows past and cannot know if a PR comes out tomorrow or a major contract was signed. Seems first is the news etc. then the chart to see if RSI is low etc. to help confirm. Yes???No?? The reason I say catch 22 is because even if there is a huge run when RSI approaches 80 tech traders are gonna start dumping cause the chart says dump. Please don't mistake this I am sincerely trying to learn. Which weighs heavier Chart or news? Any other GURU's advise welcome. Help a poor ol' burger flipper out. Thanks &pray for news.
