I'm not sure we should start the new thread just yet. If Frank is serious about getting us onto an exchange, then it will probably be soon. That would really attract new investors! Perhaps we should wait until then? Just my opinion.....

There's a lot of things that has to come together before a major exchange. That will take quiet a bit of time. I bet we go through several more threads before then. I think its getting ready for a run real soon and think a new thread is great. New always gets attention.

Everything alright for now knock on wood. Wifes been out of hospital for 2 weeks.

Been quietly picking up some shares this week. I see things turning in my dd for the good. I am hoping for no news early next week so I can see pressure building. News throws it off. News can come when pressure is ready to burst.

Yes i agree i dont believe it will be a buy out but possibly a apartnership or merger at best case, at worst case they will be a customer that will buy and air our product.

either way thier will be revenue coming out of Canada.

Dear Mr. Craig: I would truly appreciate it if your new television company OutTV would start carrying the original programming of Q Television out of Palm Springs. I am a viewer of Q and I must say that their programming is awesome. I feel that the Canadian viewers would truly appreciate what this company has done to promote the GBLT life style.

Please consider carrying the “Q”. I am confident that your company stands to gain by the broadcasting of Q Television.

Respectfully Submitted

Hello everyone,

Still here, still holding long!

Good to hear from you Ric--hope Rhonda has a wonderful Mother's Day.

Look how far our Q has come in accomplishments in just over a year!

lol, being overworked lately has helped me to be more patient with the network's progress.

By comparing the amount of my labor required to achieve one completed work project with the amount of labor required for QTN's accomplishments is somewhat humbling. How did they do it?

Hope everyone is well and enjoying spring weather.

REPENT AMERICA AND WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH TO PROTEST NATIONAL CELEBRATION

40th Anniversary of GLBT Civil Rights Movement at Independence Hall

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Repent America and Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas each announced that they will picket the National Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the GLBT Civil Rights Movement on Sunday, May 1 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

Repent America, an organization whose primary purpose is to stage anti-gay demonstrations, is led by Michael Marcavage, a self-proclaimed Christian. Marcavage and other Repent America demonstrators were arrested for ethnic intimidation, incitement to riot and related offenses during their last demonstration in Philadelphia. Those charges were dismissed.

The Rev. Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church challenged openly gay Congressman Barney Frank to a debate. The Westboro release reads in part, “God hates America, now a vile homofascist regime irreversibly cursed of God and doomed.” Westboro Baptist Church has a long history of homophobic actions, including picketing at Matthew Shepard’s funeral service.

Congressman Barney Frank responded, “I couldn’t debate Mr. Phelps because I only speak English, and therefore would find it very difficult to communicate with him.”

“For Repent America and Westboro Baptist Church to demonstrate at the National Celebration is the equivalent of the Klu Klux Klan and American Nazis showing up at an African American or Jewish event. They embody hate and encourage violence,” said Malcolm Lazin, Executive Director of Equality Forum.

“We are asking our community and straight allies to donate as long as Repent America and Westboro Baptist Church are present. We’ll use the funds to distribute Equality Forum’s documentaries to non-profit organizations,” Lazin added.

Equality Forum, the Philadelphia-based national GLBT organization coordinating the National Celebration, is working with the Philadelphia Police Department, National Park Service and Philadelphia Bar Association to ensure that the National Celebration and protests coincide peacefully.

Congressman Barney Frank is one of the 40 Heroes who will be honored during the National Celebration of the 40-year GLBT Civil Rights Movement. He will attend the National Celebration to accept a 40 Heroes Award at the Gay Pioneers & 40 Heroes Tribute in front of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell on Sunday, May 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. The Heroes were selected through an international process.

Equality Forum 2005 & National Celebration (April 25 to May 1) features over 100 programs. More than 105 state, regional, national and international non-profit organizations and 32 national and international GLBT Executive Directors will be participating. Thirty (30) states, D.C. and Puerto Rico will hold State Receptions on Saturday, April 30.

The 16-hour National Celebration on Independence Mall includes the Gay Pioneers & 40 Heroes Tribute; the SundayOUT street festival; screenings of the documentary Gay Pioneers; an Interfaith Service with Bishop Gene Robinson at historic Christ Church; a Gay Icons Pavilion at the Independence Visitors Center; Conversations with Gay Leaders at the National Constitution Center; a National Celebration Concert with Cyndi Lauper, Amber, and Jade Starling at Penn’s Landing’s Waterfront Amphitheater; celebrities and parties.

There is no registration fee for Equality Forum 2005 and all substantive events including the National Celebration are free.

Verizon FiOS TV Will Offer a New Customer Experience, Seidenberg Says
Monday April 18, 12:48 pm ET
- Calls on Broadcasters to Support Verizon's Franchise Reform

LAS VEGAS, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers will have a compelling alternative to cable television when Verizon enters the video market later this year with FiOS TV, Ivan Seidenberg, the chairman and CEO of Verizon, told the National Association of Broadcasters today.

"FiOS will change the competitive landscape in the video marketplace, both now and in the future. From Day One, we'll offer a new technology, a new business model and a new customer experience," Seidenberg said.

Speaking at the NAB's national convention, Seidenberg called on broadcasters to help break down "the biggest barrier" to Verizon's entry into video: the requirement that Verizon obtain a second franchise from local authorities, in addition to the one the company already has, to carry video on its fiber networks.

He said the broadcast and communications industries are "natural partners" in exploring new digital technologies that will enhance their relationships with their local customers.

"As technology barriers fall, and we begin to marry the power of broadcasting with the mobility of wireless and the interactivity of the Internet, we'll offer a compelling customer experience that will give you many new ways to reinforce just how important you are in the lives of your audience," he said.

As an example, he noted that Verizon Wireless is the first wireless company in the United States to deliver a true wide-area broadband experience. Verizon Wireless' wireless broadband uses a technology called EV-DO, and the company is expanding its EV-DO network to reach some 150 million people by the end of 2005.

Using EV-DO, Verizon Wireless' new V CAST service delivers mobile segments of network TV shows, movie previews, 3-D games, music videos and sports highlights on wireless handsets.

"We're convinced that, once customers get a taste of this whole new wireless experience, they will see it as every bit as indispensable as their mobile phone service is today," Seidenberg said.

Verizon also is the first communications company to make a major commitment to deliver fiber-optic technology all the way to homes and businesses. The company has deployed its fiber-to-the-premises network in more than 100 communities across its service territory, and it plans to reach a total of 3 million homes by the end of this year. Seidenberg said Verizon will expand its fiber broadband network in the years ahead as fast as the technology and marketplace will allow.

Today, Seidenberg noted, customers served by Verizon's fiber network can sign up for blazing-fast FiOS Internet Service, which delivers speeds up to 30 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and 5 Mbps upstream. For video, the network will deliver 100 Mbps downstream and up to 15 Mbps upstream, making FiOS the fastest interactive network being deployed in America today.

Seidenberg said the tremendous capacity of Verizon's all-fiber network means that it can carry all kinds of local content and high-definition programming. FiOS TV will offer HDTV and DVR (digital video recorder) functionality on multiple TV sets. Its upstream speeds will give customers multimedia and interactive capabilities such as sharing family videos, video on demand, 3-D gaming and setting camera angles for sporting events.

Seidenberg told the broadcasters that Verizon looks forward to joining with them to explore the creative and commercial possibilities of the digital future. He also said that Verizon is committed to partnering with broadcasters on the policy issues related to Verizon's entry into video.

Citing the requirement that Verizon obtain a franchise from local authorities to provide cable service, Seidenberg noted that, as a local telephone company, Verizon has always had a franchise to deploy and operate its networks. Now, he said, the company is being asked to obtain a second franchise to use these networks to compete in video.

While continuing to negotiate local franchises, he said, Verizon is seeking statewide solutions in some jurisdictions as well as a federal solution to this issue.

"We ask you to lend your persuasive voice in support of clearing away this barrier to video competition and speeding the day when America's communications companies can use our fantastic resources to offer your content and provide a true and compelling alternative to cable," he told the broadcasters.

At the same time, he pledged that Verizon would work with broadcasters to protect intellectual property in a digital universe. In addition, he said, with the tremendous bandwidth of its fiber network and business interest in providing as much content as possible, Verizon will help broadcasters address retransmission issues in ways that expand the market for both the company and the broadcasters.

With more than $71 billion in annual revenues, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ - News) is one of the world's leading providers of communications services. Verizon has a diverse work force of more than 210,000 in four business units: Domestic Telecom serves customers based in 29 states with wireline telecommunications services, including broadband and other services. Verizon Wireless owns and operates the nation's most reliable wireless network, serving 43.8 million voice and data customers across the United States. Information Services operates directory publishing businesses and provides electronic commerce services. International includes wireline and wireless operations and investments, primarily in the Americas and Europe. For more information, visit http://www.verizon.com.

I never did see their PR stating that the "Q" were going to be there broadcasting. Richard in IR never did answer yes or no.

Please post the confirmation that they will be there broadcastiing. Thanks [Big Grin]

we suspect that they may be the telephoney company that Q has struck a deal with for later this year. That Verizon PR was talking about thier upcoming project.

its speculation that seems to add up.
