mbmaid...

How do I put him on ignore? Please PM me with the mothod or post here. I appreciate it.

I obviously have a hard time not going after this guy. I guess it's mostly because he uses the "Sarge" title that get's my goat. I was also in the service and when I see his posts I see red...Have friends still in the service and some are overseas right now. We just lost two more boys in Iraq and was the headline in this mornings paper.

I'm sorry folks if I contribute to his posting here more than he normally would.

A couple days of sideways trading and the MACD will begin to look alot better!

http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=plni,uu[w,a]daclyyay[db][pb50!d20,2][vc60][iLb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

The chart needs to continue is correction and then BAMM... we are heading back up again in anticipation of the audit details in the coming weeks! Right now is a great buying time, or sell some and play other stocks as the pps should hold steady here (+/- .001).

Who are you calling a snail? I've seen this stock move up and down over 50% at least 5 times in the past 6 weeks or so. If you'd have played it by the ups and downs, you could have easily made over 300% even since it's been over .01. True, we are dogging it below the .02 mark right now, but every dog has it's day. PLNI's day will come Keith. Most of the guys here are in for the long haul, so as long as we're moving in the right direction (slow or not) we're making money.

Can't ignore $Keith$, he's got a lot of good posts out there. He is/was just frustrated like the rest of us that were expecting this thing to move a little quicker. I am a little frustrated as well, but on the bright side I've been able to sell out and make some quick cash elsewhere before getting back in (and not taking a loss on my buyback).

this is the only penny stock I can safely put aside and not track everytime because I see the potential that lies ahead. Day trading can be very stressful with stocks that go very high one day and hit bottom the very next day. I did my DD on PLNI and see a lot of good things ahead and willing to take my chance on it even if it is slow and takes some bumps along the way because I know this stock can grow significantly in the future and I don't want to miss out on it.

Wow. I can't believe there are still people in this stock. Didn't the CEO say over four weeks ago that they would be off the pinks in exactly four weeks? If a CEO made that kind of a comment and didn't stick to it in "the real world" he'd lose his job. Yet this guy still has his job.

quote:
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that there are no plans for a reverse stock split based on projected sales and earnings.
Wait a minute.. So you're going to be fully reporting, but you're not going to do a reverse stock split to get on a *real* exchange?

quote:
"A reverse stock split is absolutely off the table," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. Mr. Turek added that should it be necessary to reduce the number of issued and outstanding shares, management is committed to both retiring its own personal shares and the company is committed to buying back shares as well.
What an excellent way to confirm to your shareholders that you have no intentions of actually passing or completing the audit. Instead, you'll dilute and hope there are enough suckers buy into it.

Here's the funny thing. If you did a R/S and actually went to the Nasdaq or Amex, then maybe your shareholders would trust or have confidence in you. Instead, you decide to stay on the pinks and not do a R/S. What a great scam, too bad honest US citizens are the ones getting suckered, Jim.

Oh well, I could be wrong, anyone have the date on that PR that said they'd be fully reporting in 4 weeks?

--------------------
As a forum poster, it is ironic that you are held to a higher standard than a Pink Sheet CEO.

Re-read that paragraph one or two more times.

It could very well possible that a buy-back and management retiring some of their shares would eliminate the need for r/s.

It IS possible...and possibly probable..

Nice Post...those are some of the things that had been lingering in my head also, the PR yesterday about no reverse stock split seems a bit shady also, who releases a PR about a rumor like that, I think he is covering his ass to make sure there are no more sell offs, I feel relieved being out and holding some freebies for a rainy day!

The CEO did not say that, which is easy enough to check and I suggest you try that in the future.

Turek said on May 18 that the audited financials would be finished in four weeks. Anybody with sense knows it takes longer than one day to get off the pinks onto OTCBB.

The four-week goal for finishing the audit was indeed missed, and now the company says it will finish by the end of next month.

I sold off a large chunk of my shares as well... I think we will be hanging around this PPS for a while, until the audit comes out. In the meantime, this is a good opportunity to put that money to work. Besides, we've seen a 50% drop a couple times over the past 6 weeks... sell high, buy low [Smile]

Buy Penny...

This may drop tomorrow then tighten up and run...It likes going to around .01-.011...and then a fast run up ... If no press release it may do it again. When it goes south it goes pretty fast...Watch if they line up a wall at .01...At close the MM's rearranged on the bid and are at...

Bid:
2 @ .014
1 @ .012
2 @ .01

Here's the Ask:
1 @ .0147
1 @ .0152
1 @ .0155
2 @ .016
1 @ .0163

Let's see the line up at 9:25. I may sell and get back in also...You made a good point...Sell high and buy low...good thought....Thanks

Keith, are you familiar with the term "rumor"? In English, it means an unsubstantiated story.

You must know after reading and commenting on this board every day that one of PLNI's executives said at the New York presentation that an R/S would happen at some point connected to going on OTCBB. PLNI subsequently issued a press release saying--now--they are not contemplating an R/S. They added that share-control steps, if necessary, would include a share buyback and retirement of shares (two issues ignored by the post you so highly recommended).

So PLNI issued a press release to set the record straight and commit to a policy on R/S. Pretty simple. Please check your facts and do not cloud DD.

Bearclaw--I wonder about those after-closing bid/asks. I haven't made scientific study, but my impression is that they don't predict very much about what the stock is going to do the next day (unless there has been truly explosive news that makes everything obvious). I've seen some pretty bizarre bid/asks after the close that simply disappear before the market opens again.

Could be wrong, just an impression.

State...

I usually see that the closing plni line up is the same as oh say... 8:00 AM the next morning...Today was odd with all the movement and the ending spread especially with the upticks the last 10 minutes of trading...I only made the comment because it was a little different than what I have seen. Then the next morning by 9:28 the MM's will change the bid/ask if they choose or caryover the position from the previous day...Please don't assign any meaning to this other than it was an observation today...I have no clue if it means anything at all...just a little different than usual...

My main reason for the post was to share some things I noticed in reply to a comment that plni drops 50% at times. I got the impression that some folks have sold a portion of their holdings in anticipation of this drop. I'm sure they will then acquire more shares. This is Swing Trading. It's a nice way to trade stocks sometimes when holding long or chasing runners isn't appropriate.

By the way, I rarely chase runners unless I'm absolutely sure of my position. That, I've found, has been rare for me. I'd rather swing trade in Pennyland or find stocks I'm interested in for the long haul. PLNI is a swing opportunity and a long hold. Nice combination.

I have noticed that the 50% decrease usually happens the next few days after a PR is released unless another PR or rumor effects it...
When it has taken a drop the MM's build a wall at around .01 early on before the PPS really drops fast. I have noticed it drops quickly and then runs back up to close but a little lower than the prior days closing PPS. I wanted the folks who are swing trading this week to get my impression of the close today and what I have seen in the past...Of course this is just my opinions and impressions...take care...

I have been in about a month I have only seen it drop about 35 percent once, unless your talking over multiple days, I have only seen it below about .0135 2 days, it has been at .014 to about .0185 for the most part, so its not like its jumoing from .011 to .019 on a regular basis, if your trying to swing this your going to have to be very patient, which doesnt usually go hand in hand with a swing trader, unless u like to work on small margins....a 50 percent drop would be from .018 to .009 right, I dont what you guys are talking about because I havent seen swings like this in the last month
