Well the closer we get to the divy date we shall see some buying pressure...even though there are not many shares out there...

At the risk of sounding dumb - would someone explain to me whether this is a play on words. The recent news release states that shares owned 'ON' April 27 will be honored with a 600% dividend for stock owners.Does this mean shares bought and owned 'ON' this date, or owned/purchased prior to and including ths date, will be honored with the increase of shares per holder? thanks!

Yes, if you still own shares on that date...

Typically, you need to buy the shares three days before the record date (April 22) to give the shares time to settle (three days). You won't be recorded as "owner" unless your shares have settled -- meaning your broker has gotten the physical shares as I understand it.
Usually, the ex-dividend date is set three days prior to the record date, but it doesn't always work like that. I'd recommend buying by April 22 and holding til April 27 at least. See what happens at that point. Ameritrade didn't have any info on it. This might be a hold til May 16 (when the shares are put in your account), but I'm hoping not.
Also, I have not heard for certain whether the dividend shares will be tradable/non-restrictied. Anyone know?

So, does anyone have L2 for this stock? I don't have L2 for pinks, so if you could post it, that would be great. Thanks!

Signals between MMs... 100 > I need shares 200 > I need shares badly but dont take it down to get em 300 > Take the price down to get shares.... 400 > Trade it sideways based on Supply and Demand 500 > Gap one way or the other, usually to the direction of the 500 trade. Sometimes -if in the middle -keep the price right where it is.

Union Equity Responds to Shareholder Inquiries; USA Today Declares ``Housing Market on Miami Coast is Hot, Hotter, Hottest``
April 21, 2005 09:17:01 (ET)
PALM BEACH, Fla., Apr 21, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Union Equity Inc. (Pink Sheets:UNQT) CEO Michael Anthony couldn't have said it better. The 4/19/05 issue of USA Today by Marilyn Adams profiled the condominium construction boom in south Florida and provided readers with some remarkable insight as to why this market is unique.
The article stated that: "Florida's developers and real estate brokers are flying high amid an unprecedented condo-building and -buying wave they hope won't end anytime soon. The frenzied spending is coming to a large extent from outside Florida -- well-to-do baby boomers from the North nearing retirement, and foreigners whose money for real estate has gained potency from a weak dollar."
"The economy has gone through a serious economic shift over the past twenty years," said Union Equity CEO Michael Anthony. "We're dealing with a massive influx of overseas dollars flooding in to buy a piece of the Florida dream. For years I've been trying to get people to understand what's happening here but unless you see it for yourself it's difficult to understand the scope of all the building and renovation."
The USA Today article went on to state: "The weak dollar makes Florida real estate look like a bargain abroad. To Europeans with euros to spend, for example, Florida property can seem like a deal because of the added buying power they get from a favorable currency exchange rate. Unlike the past, today's Florida developers aren't targeting just retirees or snowbirds from the Northeast and Latin America. Luxury buildings are targeting the wealthy worldwide."
"South Florida is going through the largest urban redevelopment in its history," says Michael Cannon of appraisal firm Integra Realty Resources.
Union Equity currently has several projects under consideration and will post news as soon as is appropriate.
The company has recently approved a 600% dividend in the form of six-for-one forward split of its common stock issued and outstanding as of 4/27/05 (the record date). Odd lots shall be rounded up. Shareholders of record on 4/27/05 will receive six additional shares for every one share of common stock owned on that date. The mail date for the additional shares is May 16, 2005.
The six-for-one forward split does not apply to the 6,049,244,000 restricted shares closely held by management. Currently there are approximately 117,000,000 shares in the float.
"We're moving aggressively as possible in this market," said Anthony. "This is my backyard."
The USA today article by Marilyn Adams can be read in its entirety at;
Union Equity is a national real estate development and holding company, specializing in the fields of Residential Property Development, Mortgage Finance and Construction of New Residential Properties. The company operates independently and through its wholly-owned subsidiary Eden Development Group and plans to grow aggressively over the next two to three years through acquisitions, mergers and internal growth.

just a dumb question, so please bear with me. Say for some reason this stock bounces to say .015 or something like that, would the company still pay a 600% divvie on that? It seems like a good way to bankrupt a company. I mean that would make the dividend equal to .09 per share. Unless I screwed up my math or my thinking. At the current PPS, .015 is about 300% then another 600% on top of that on the 27th. Sounds too good to be true.

What ever the value of your shares before the split your new shares will most likely have the same total value for a while.... with good news it should go up from there! imo

For once I am seeing a ton of buying pressure and volume above my entry point. I am just trying to figure out if this 6 for 1 is a good deal or not. Any ideas? I can afford to hold this one a lot longer than most coming in now which is nice. I just don't want to see the PPS in the .000 range. That makes me nervous.

Ok so not really understanding, since I have shares of UNQT and it's not a lot of money, should I hold them now and see what's up or take the tiny profit right now and get out? I just don't understand if good can happen or not, feels like mixed messages, I realize it's all guess work for the most part so if holding is a really bad move....

OK..here's the problem...I went and looked at GWGOE and frankly it's like reading Chinese to me at this point, I'm still trying to figure this all out. Would rather take a risk and hold if there was an upside, just don't want to do something really stupid is all. I'm assuming by your WOW that there is potential for upside if I hold

The chart shows what looks like about a 700% bump in price the day before the split. The one in March was actually the second. The first one was in Nov. By the way, what did you think about the weather today? Down here in Tacoma it was awesome!!!
