"This seminar will be an annual event for Q Television - we have many projects in the pipeline, and plan to discuss relationships that were established at Sundance regarding both television and film offers," stated Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "As always, our goal is to further the growth of the network."
Look at what they were there to discuss:

i dont think Q's make or break point is whether logo gets out the gate first. i believe it's going to be all about content.
the fact that logo is on basic cable, already limits its playing field. yes, they have money and the clout to draw big names into their production studios. but when things get too commercialized and marketing gets out of hand, people will look for a network that is more genuinely geared for their cause.
on a side note, i remember how i use to laugh at upcoming networks like wb and fox. remember fox started out w a bunch of syndicated shows and barely any content of its own. it wasn't until shows like the simpsons, tracey ullman show, in living color, married w children, that drew a following to that network. the same thing happening w wb. it takes time to build original content. and that is what Q is doing at the moment. putting ideas into action.

Roadrunner does have a valid point though. Missed PR's cannot be overlooked. Although, I think QBID has made many changes since then, hence the reason for being missed. I, for one, still have plenty of faith in this company and its people!

You took the words out of my mouth, I was typing the same thing "I'm beginning to think that if we had a PR with a carrier, you would post, "But he said carrierS, what about the others?", but I figured it would just insite an arguement so I pulled my post before hitting the "Add reply".
PPL really just need to relax and look at the BIG picture, this is not putting together a set of Lego's. This is a real bonified television network. It is going to take some time to build. Personally I am glad Frank is not giving dates anymore, that way I don't have to hear the whinners crying about "He missed another date/deadline".
Shut up already and just take the PR's for they are and look at the progression of the company. See my previous post about the progression Frank has made and the subtle clues he has been feeding you and I.

We have seen pr in that past about the importance of bringing "Q" to fully reporting and the moves the company was making to make it happen. Obviously they were delayed or sidetracked.
Also, I think the pps would have gone up higher with "solid" pr about the 123 stations.
JMHO, but I think the pps would have move with any pr as investors are so hungry for any news.
Still, this is not a solid pr.

Moving off the pinks was discussed during the conference call as in the distant future--but you, like everybody else on this board, already know that. It was discussed yesterday.
Not just an opinion.
Suz, it was also a key point of interest for "Q" over a year ago. I can dig up the old pr if you would like. This is not new news, just a new direction for to attain the goal. Will it work, who knows! But the fact is, if people get excited about the company talking of becoming reporting, the pps WILL rise.

Are you related to U4 ?
Doc, now that was funny
I think roadrunner has a right to question these things. Let's not attack him, let's have someone give some DD to make him comfortable with his position.
In fact, I too would like the answeres.

im sorry if they come across that way but, im not going to be a cheerleader like some people on this board, no matter if things are looking good or bad, they will only say positive things. you must look at both sides of everthing. its better to be realistic than to always dream. no ones going to change my opinion, the only person that can do that is frank olsen, by following through on past claims and statements.

Why is it so hard to say "Hey Frank has missed PR's but you know what, telling me he has hired the top person in her field to get us contracts with cable/sat companies, hires a finical guru to construct a 3 year plan and get things straight, hires a firm to get us off the pinks, this really shows me Frank is working his A$$ off so I will cut him some slack on his deadlines."
No one likes missed deadlines but the other strides he has taken more than make it up for me. There would be NO reason to get off pinks if Frank didn't think this was going to fly. Not only fly but SOAR, Frank has made a mint off this already, he WANTS to be a huge conglomerate, so he can add another feather to his cap and sell it off. By that time we will be sitting very pretty.
These are all very strategic moves to make this happen. When reading the PR's stop thinking "This is not what I WANT TO READ, just read about the PROGRESS they are making".

If you read the pr word for word and in exact English, the only "progress" is the sponsorship. The rest is alignment for future objectives.
Frank has in the past failed to deliver or dramatically delayed those objectives.
Not a bash, just a fact!
Reading false positives into a pr is just as bad as discrediting a pr for not delivering the news one expects.

i want qbid to succeed also like all of you do. i dont know why everyone is so afraid to talk about the negitive side of qbid. do you actually think not always posting the good side of things is somehow going to affect the pps? this is just a internet message board, most investors dont even know about this site. it is sad most people wont be honest, that or they have tunnel vision.

Roadrunner, you sayin' Frank is purposely releasing false PR's?
Anyway...all of this arguing is tiring. The one question I ask myself over and over is, "has Q made me money". The answer is YES, and you know what, that's all that matters to me.
Delayed timelines, missed deadlines, pr's not coming to pass-- I DON'T CARE. I've got a few more dollars in my pocket because of Q. And yes, I do have along position.

qbid made me $1500 in december off of two day trades. i took the profit and weeks later bought more qbid after a dip for a long hold.

Newbie, it is poor taste to invite a fellow shareholder to exit. Not good for anybody.
If you boss said he would give you a raise by a certain date and it didn't happen, what would you do? If it is a good job, probably just b1tch about it. This is all kinda like that.
Oh, and I have been on this "Q" rollercoaster from the beginning here at allstocks. I have a right to voice my opinion and have all the DD to back it up.
Now, I invite you to stay with the board and continue to contribute.

I am not picking on anyone, but I cannot understand the "glass half empty" attitude that controls the lives of some people. And I am sure they cannot understand my "glass half full" attitude.
So, for what it is worth, consider the following quotes (sorry, I don't know the authors):
"A positive attitude may not solve every problem but it makes solving any problem a more pleasant experience."
"If you always think negatively, your life will end up negatively. Be mindful of what you think."
"The difficult takes awhile, the impossible takes a while longer."
I learned a long time ago that thinking positively does not erase all negatives from my life, but I sleep a hell of a lot better.
And no, I DO NOT IGNORE NEGATIVES. I deal with them in a positive way.
It was a good day for QBID. Hope to see you all in Vegas very soon.
