ALL UNITS BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A TELEVISION NETWORK. LAST SEEN HEADING FOR THE NORTHWEST!!!

Q Television Network to Air in the Pacific Northwest; Q Television's Signal to Be Available to over One Million Customers
via COMTEX

January 18, 2005

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan 18, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that it has reached an agreement with a Washington State television station to offer Q Television Network to its subscribers.

"After extensive negotiations, we have finally come to an agreement to make Q Television available from Oregon to the Canadian border," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "The West Coast market is an important step for us. It is the third highest market of the Gay and Lesbian population in the U.S. With this new carrier, our television signal will be made available to over one million customers."

In the second quarter of 2005, Q Television will comply with requirements of all national carriers and make its signal available in High Definition (HDTV). "With the field narrowing for carriers to choose gay and lesbian networks, we have jumped to the top of many lists and will provide all of our carriers with the best possible network," said Olsen.

About Q Television Network: This television network was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. For further information on programming and subscriptions, please visit www.qtelevision.com.

As a cautionary note to investors, certain matters discussed in this press release may be forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Such matters involve risks and uncertainties that may cause actual results to differ materially, including the following: changes in economic conditions; general competitive factors; the television network's ability to execute its business model and strategic plans; and the risks described from time to time in the company's Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

Has anybody ever heard of COMTEX. I wonder if we lost them by mentioning them in a PR prematurely. Anybody have a crystal ball in operating condition today? I didn't notice that name comtex the first time I read the PR, but that must be the carrier that they were refering to. IMO........LOL....

That's the whole point of a pink sheet stock. Everyone knows this when they get in, or should know. If you can't trust in good faith that your CEO is doing a good job then this isn't for you. Being a pessimist about the situation doesn't help anyone considering there is also no proof that they are dumping shares into the O/S. The price is going down yes but that in no way directly reflects that they're increasing the O/S.

It was mentioned earlier that it is not uncommon for a pennyu pink stock to fluctuate 2000%. QBID didn't do that. They fluctuted to 28000% percent and now have a fairly stable base at 3000%. You all should be happy that this stock acts like a penny stock on the runs and a large cap when there is no news. Before this week losing .0001 a day was nothing large at all. Now we're sitting on .003. I'm not complaining since I believe there will be more runs and higher bases in the future.

There is no point in putting down QBID simply because there is nothing going on with it. If you want to complain go to the CMKX board. That stock has done literally nothing. Last I checked they didn't have a run of 28,000% and a stable base 3000% above the low of the year. Nor does it have pure evidence that they're a functioning company with good business relations. This is a penny stock. Do what you want with it, but you honestly can't complain about them not reporting. It's pink sheets, deal with that and just trust them. If you don't trust them, why is your money in here? Matt

Actually, nobody in the general public can be sure as to how many O/S and A/S there really is. Q does not have to inform anybody if the O/S and A/S are increased. That is the whole problem!

And, besides the company stating that they were going to buy back X amount of shares, where can we see that they actually did?

The answer is simply, we can't be sure. The only way you can refute this is with blind faith.

Q will see HUGE movement once they become reporting if there is real substance to the company.

Matt, I am just pointing out that nobody is sure, and your reply backs my statements.

I am not complaining, in fact my last line states that this will run "HUGE" when the company can back their statements. Until then, we will have to wait until it really happens to believe.

And, is it customary to invite people to leave a thread if they don't share your rose colored view?

Furthermore, I have done alot of DD on both QBID and CMKX. They are more alike than you think. I won't get into all of it, as I feel it could further hinder the advancement of "Q". You may not want to push so hard.

Don't worry I did not ask for you to leave. I just don't see the point in believing that something is happening that is directly opposite the movements the company has been taking. A buyback and retiring of shares does not point to the company bleeding shares back into the O/S. My money is in QBID so I have to believe in them and their product. If I were to think otherwise my money would be elsewhere.

I don't mind if people question QBID, I did when I first came here, as long as there is very good proof that something isn't right. Matt

I think that everyone is trying to figure out why the volume is pretty high and we don't see movement.

Throwing out theories as to why is just peoples way of trying to decide if and when to buy.

Touche' justplayin. A share bleed just doesn't seem reasonable to me. I do believe a lot of it has to deal with the fact that everyone is waiting for the news about a big carrier. Any other news won't do it for most people. Matt

Accumilation periods are actually good for all of us. We have developed a good support level and with higher highs and higher lows, we move that support level for a higher pps on the next run.

I found this under the Jax journal....It is interesting that there is a mention of satellite folk?!?... I wonder if that could mean satellite providers were there scoping out the program before they commit to carrying. I don't believe she is talking about the technicians working on the set, but corp. big wigs!

I have 13 dollars.. 2/1/2005

Well here we are again... and look, I found the way to add a little color... I am so cutting edge...

Tonight was travel night and not just any travel but high end travel... if you got the dollars, our guests will show you a good time.

The in studio guests were all fabulous, as were the satellite folk and it was a very interesting show.

It's amazing that Q Television tries to be professional, but releases a "new website" that has most of the links not working; and the ones that do work, point to the old layout. Looks like a rush job to me. Is it so hard to take an extra week, make sure every page is updated, and then release it? Although I must say the page is the best looking yet out of the dozen or so layouts they've had.

Actually just about all of the links work and none point back to the old website. I don't know what you're talking about. The only links I've found to not work are the ones under the news frame. Some people on IHUB had trouble loading the video's but thats because they dont have the correct software to run them. I think downloading quicktime solved most of their problems. All the videos work for me. Matt

Hello - there's a bunch of 'links' on the right side that do nothing. "Programs & Series", "Contact us", "Specials & Movies". Looking at the source code, they didn't even make those links yet. If you try clicking on any of the press releases, it brings up a 404 "Page not found". When you visit http://www.qtelevision.com/main/schedule.asp you'll see the right navigation is now in the middle instead of up top - poor coding. It seems this was either done by an amatuer web designer or someone who was very rushed to do it. But as I said the site looks good - one of their best yet.

Oooops Matt - disregard the above two posts. I'm using Mozilla Firefox and if you view the website in Firefox, none of those links on the right navigation work at all. It's fine in IE. Sorry about that. Although this is a major problem - bad coding on the designer's part - he/she should of checked the website in various browsers to make sure it renders correctly. Sorry again.

Yea the site says on the bottom that its set up for IE. In my opinion I think they slapped it up incomplete just to get rid of that dark website. It wasn't a very upbeat site. Matt

Although I think they should fix up the code for it to render in Firefox correctly. More and more people are converting to it nowadays.
