You know,,, when it comes right down to it the battle for #1 Broadcasting National G/L TV Network never materialized.
QBID won it by default!
That kind of leaves Frank in the driver's seat. And lest we forget there's alot at stake here. The Neilson people think so too. Why not? What with a $600 Billion Dollar target left up for grabs due to the fact that Viacom can't even mount a decent competitive move in their announced time frame.
Which brings me to this. Think I'm crazy if you want but it would be the best thing in the world for SLowGo to hit the airwaves. It will be a validation of business direction and it will actually help solidify QBID's hold on #1 status. What's actually sad is that it is very possible that SlowGo will either delay again or do a limited launch.
I will admit that we need to hear from Frank that we have at least one more carrier. It's VERY IMPORTANT that we make STEADY progress. We can't rest on this vacume left by MTV's absence.
If things work out great, Viacom will launch after we've gained a solid beach-head in this market and push us through the roof, something on the order of XM & SIRI!
The first one out of the gate almost always takes the lions share,,,

This is not about football--it's about basketball! Remember Prizewise? I keep getting tickets returned.
They have a package for (two) tickets for 3 games, April 2-4 for the NCAA Men's Championship in St Louis--plus some spending cash. The perfect stress-free getaway for hubby and me, lol.

MB we are in sync. Once I saw the pictures of Q Television at Sundance that was it. We are now the buzz. This is going to be about it for the .003s IMO and I have followed this since last February. Was averaged at about .0036 too. LOL Will pick up 110K at opening and roll other runners into this. The longer it stays down the more I get and the more I can play with on the way back up.

I don't post much but....I keep checking this board for DD and news on QBID. Some days it's great and most folks are excited and positive...But there are times where it's really difficult to plow through the information...Especially if I'm busy trying to make an investment as the market is quickly moving on other stocks. What is the deal with these jerks...It seems there's a small group of folks who have no interest in making profits...just blasting away at any stock or person they decide to target on Allstocks. I'm trying to decide if QBID has found it's bottom before it goes through the roof....which it will...so I can buy some more shares at open. To those of you who are working hard doing their DD thanks for the info. To the others please find another activity to fuel your fire besides these boards.

1.30pm : GAY REPUBLICANS: THE MOVIE
Last year, the Log Cabin (gay) Republicans emerged from relative obscurity, only to find themselves centered in the national spotlight. The President's opposition to gay marriage put them at the forefront of one of the most hotly contested elections in years. But it also opened schisms that challenged the very identity of the Log Cabin itself. Gay Republicans were forced to examine themselves to decide what was more important -- being gay or being Republican?
Director Wash Westmoreland chronicled the journey of the gay Republicans, following four members of the organization as they grappled with their own decision as to who they would support. His film "Gay Republicans" won the audience award for best documentary at last year's AFI Film Festival and aired on Trio during election season. Join Westmoreland as he shows clips and reflects on this stereotype-shattering, gut wrenching portrait of an organization in turmoil.

Q Television Network Gets Exclusive Insider's View of the Presidential Inauguration; Congressman Barney Frank Hosts 'Q on the Move' at the Inauguration for a Special Upcoming Episode 1/25/2005 9:00:00 AM PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan 25, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID), the television network for the gay and lesbian community, got an exclusive insider's view of the Presidential inauguration last Thursday, January 20, when Congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass) invited the network along as he attended some of the Inaugural events.
"Q on the Move" host Nick Oram covered the inaugural proceedings for Q Television as Congressman Frank's special guest.
Oram accompanied Congressman Frank to, among other places, the "Alternative Inaugural Ball," which raised money for non-incumbent Democratic candidates. In a speech to the attendees, Rep. Frank asserted that progressives must make the case that President Bush's policies are hurting minorities, gays and poor and working people. Oram also joined Rep. Frank at his interview with comedian and radio show host Al Franken.
The exclusive footage will be broadcast in upcoming episodes of "Q on the Move," the network's travelogue of gay-friendly places, people and events.
"We are grateful for Congressman Frank for giving us exclusive entree to the places and events which are of particular interest to our viewers," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "We promised to cover the 'gay angle' of every national event, and you can't get any bigger than the presidential inauguration."
In addition to "Q on the Move," Q Television Network is currently the home for such original programming as "WOW! Women on Women," a lesbian talk show; "Q the Music," a video program, "In FoQus," a biography program, and "On Q Live," an interactive news program.
