Just an fyi. All we are doing is creating our own market so in effect we are becoming a market maker. It is not illegal to corner the market on a stock or confer on choices as long as there is no insider information. Everyone should read the sec rules of securities before trading. As long as no one makes up information or spreads false information about the companies we trade we cannot be implicated in pump and dump because all we are doing is buying and selling. Maybe in the future this will raise some eyebrows but I see no way of stopping us.

I am new to all of this but I have been watching all day long. I was wondering if I could get in. I am sitting in Iraq in the miltary with a little money that I want to throw onto the table to help your cause. I am no genius but I will listen to you. It looks like you know what you are talking about

I'm not chosing sides here but it never hurts to question the legality of anything. For instance the SEC may consider you all a group or club and expect you to report as a over a certain % holder. Just a thought you might want to check into. Good plan though.

I assume by your post above that you too believe this is legal.
Gainster-
Do you have a stock pick page and if not might I humbly suggest that once you have your limit of members that you start one so as not to advertise to MM's and others what is going on?
That is of course after you let me in the group, lol.

I agree with Bob, there are many stock picks placed on this board....what you want to do with them is your own choice....gain money or lose your money?

CC, You need to relax....There is nothing illegal going on. It sometimes feels illegal when you make a bunch of money in one day trading..... The thing is.....get in and get out...To some it seems insane as a lot of people are not used to swing, or day trading... It's ok.....It's done all of the time.... A group got together and bought some stock and sold some....no big deal... Is what I have done illegal then? I had no idea of which stock they were talking about till, I saw lots of action on OTC.... I saw it moving, checked out the float and bought in........and sold...Made great money..... I have done nothing wrong......IT's done everyday.

It's kinda funny, I bought in at .006 after the pick was told then sold at .02...I told da hubby about it as soon as he walked in the door, the first words were "That's called stock minupulation" and I replied "No it's not I just played something that was running". With or without this board people played this pick because serious players were watching their streamers.

Skyline_R33_GTR - WELCOME to AllStocks and this thread. I want to thank you for your efforts and sacrifices over there. I'm sure during down time it can be lonely and even boring?
Do you own a Skyline or is it on your wish list? (This little group could possibly get you therein 6 months or less)! The Skyline, as well as the BMW M3 are my son's favorite 2 cars! (He's still driving a Maxima as we made some lousy moves in the market last year). Good Luck!
The one who runs this is Gainster. You should send him a private message. (Where the 2 yellow people are shaking hands next to an envelope. GOd Bless you and your family and all your buddies (and buddettes!) overthere! Be safe.
Pennies to dollars - you posted "Same Here" - I don't know if that meant you just wanted in or are in Iraq too. If you are in the service, thank you and Godspeed!

First of all, great job Gainster--wonderful pick and tremendous results. A couple of things you all may want to consider:
The group will be disected if the sell date for your pick stretches into two different days--different settlement days (unless people play with other free funds).
Second, as each portfolio grows, you will have more difficulty buying into stocks as each ones account will be exponentially increased with each successful stock sold. As each person looks to buy in next time with more money than the last time, others will be left chasing the stock. Same effect as having too many on board.
You may have to stagger buys or allot only a certain amount from each person as an initial buyin at the open, with the rest for additional buys during pullbacks.
Not telling you how to run your show, but better to look at these now then to deal with them when everyone down the road is investing 20K at a time.

i'm no lawyer, but one of the posters here has his juris doctor and he and i agree, if you LIE, you are opening yourself to legal problems....
if any of you remeber the late 90's and stuff like YAHOO and how it went to da moon, you'd know that this is not illegal....
if you say "i want to hold to XX$ or i think or IMO this can get to XX$ you are OK...express OPINIONS..it's still legal(at least so far )...
if you start saying stuff like the CEO told me privately, or i saw an UNRELEASED PR yeterday? your CROSSING the line... as far as the group thing? everybody is working as independant contractors....unless we have some binding contract between us, we are not a LEGAL group...
(anyone with REAL DATA that contradicts this please let us know...)

Afternoon everyone.Just like to point out that RB still has not figured this out...shows the depth of their DD as a group.
Just like to say THANK YOU to everyone at allstocks for pounding out the importance of DD every day since I've been here...I am a better trader for it.

Totally agree...been watching a bunch of Boards for a while and Allstocks is by far the most indepth and respectable! Thanks to all who make it this way.
If we haven't noticed, Gainster hasn't said much latley or replied to many PM's. He's either sick of us trying break down his door or he's just out using the gains from his last few picks as tuck money in the VIP room. Either way let's just waite and see what HE wants to do.

OK, I am somewhat dumb with some of the stock terms but reading these posts I am learning. I only have one question.....what does DD mean. I can sometimes figure them out after awhile but that one stumps me.

To expand a bit further, indepth DD can also consist of identifying target markets, demographic makeup of the target markets, potential quantities of the target market, potential growth in the target market, term forcasting for growth in the target market, etc.... these kinds of things can be projected/stated in a business plan and/or financials for a company as well, providing a potential outlook for growth, (or lack there of). No financial expert here, just stating from experience.... GLTA (Good Luck to all)

hi, folks, I hope you all make lots of money on this, the only thing that bothers me is that it sounds like if you aren't one of the first wave your going to get caught with your pants down.kinda like a pyramid. Also you have to have a lot of faith in the person running it, he and his friends could load up on the pick the day before or at 9:30am. I would like to try this also as i could sure use some quick cash, but I think i'll sit this one out. thats what happens when you get old, you learn not to trust to many people. Gainster, i am in noway accusing you of anything, if you can make this work all the more power to you , at least your thinking outside the box. good luck to all , hope you see a lot of green.

actually if gainster & whoever is helping him loads up the day before its no problem. buying in by the rest will still drive the stock up & if they get a few % points more who's to blame them.

Sorry for the delay in response. When I was stationed in Japan I owned to different Skyline's (R32, and R33). Not at the same time though. I was actually 32 days from having mine shipped to the States but then I received rush orders to D.C. so I had to dump it. Definately my favorite two cars I have ever owned but now my priorities have changed a litte since I now have a family. My wife has told me that if we were ever to get stationed in Japan again I could buy a R34. Believe it or not, those cars are dirt cheap in Asia. I have told people before how much I picked up my Skyline's for and they almost hit the deck.
