I have been with QBID since March, I sold my position last Friday, kept a few just in case.
I live in Montreal, and in the morning paper "THE GAZETTE" there was a small article on the GAY OLYMPICS.
As you may have thought, all excited with the thought i might see QBID mentioned, i read through the article and NOT one mention of QBID broadcasting the event.
I still believe this will take off, more like a locomotive start, but once it starts rolling...well you can imagine !

• Time Warner New York is our next carrier...
• Q has negotiated a deal with Adelphia...which means that if Comcast aquires Adelphia...Comcast will be our third carrier.
• The Q web site is getting a face lift and will be updated shortly.
• All pr's will be issued by CWR...look at the old pr's....when the next one is issued...check out whats missing. This will increase investors confidence.
• As stated previously the Q will kick off the media blitz with a full page ad in USA Today. This has been trashed. The media blitz will be focused to the rollout cities. Major ads in local media.
• The Q is being broadcasted in SF on a scrambled channel 255 (you need to subscribe to view). The Q is testing in Queens and Chicago right now. Manhattan will be up and running this week with the rest of the markets to follow next week. All RCN markets will be broadcasting before the CC.
• The Q will be broadcasting in 55% of the US market before Jan 05.
• Finally, do some DD on Logo. Logo fired half of their staff and is trying to selloff some of their film rights. Guess who's buying...
Again...this is all just my HO, until it's confirmed by the Q consider it as such.

One would think that Frank would offer up some help here. Oh, yeah, he's offering a conference call at the end of the month. Heck, by then, we could be 002.

We're in a rut. This is a small point in a big picture.
It sounds like that has been said for 20 years but technically it's only been said since July. (3 months) It will spike. If you watch it every single day, every single tick, it will feel like you've been hearing it for 20 years.
Come back to me in 2 years and tell me what you feel.

i don't think frank has anything he can issue a pr about yet and RCN dropping the ball isn't helping. that was announced end of aug. and still not running completely. that makes things look bad. it would be nice to know if subs are coming in from san fran and what kind of numbers. franks not going to announce another carrier till its close to going on line in my opinion in part from the past and in part because RCN is so slow getting it running.

Maybe I am too much of a glass half full kind of guy but couldn't a drop in PPS like we are seeing trigger a buying frenzy when the PPS hits X$? Isn't volume volume regardless if it is selling or buying or selling into buying?

Betting Babe was familiar with Rubenstien. Look for some of her old post on the subject. Rubenstein also has a web site.

Well, the smart ones sold and will buy back at lows. I am not that smart but thats what the smart investor will do, And the buy back is meaningless. 2% will not even put a dent in the mindset of the investor. 9.5b down to 9.3b. Now does that look like a pps mover to you. Not even a 20% buyback will change pps that much, 9.5 to 7.5. That will only cover dilution this year.
PPS is going to move up when we actually have subs on a multi-carrier, multi-city basis. Thats it.

It was never said. There is a number of possiblities: 1% from float 1% from Frank. 2% of O/S, 2% of O/S with half from float and half from Frank, and ect. But even if he did do 2% of O/S and matched that amount from his share (still maintaining 50% of company) it would only decrease from 9.5 to 9.1 billion still not enough to effect pps. Might help stop the downward trend though.

Well I hate to say it, but I was down 50% on QBID and finaly after a week of contemplating, sold my 150,000 shares. Since QBID was 95% of my portfolio I needed to free up funds to recover losses. I still have faith in this company and plan on buying back in as soon as I can afford it but for now I just cannot take that chance. Hopefully we will see some movement over the next couple weeks if we could get some PR's. I think it is great that many of you are still holding, and I wish I was too but I cannot risk loosing the little money I have left. LOL. Well good luck everyone.

I asked frank what was going on with the stock price. Frank said that he could not believe the price but, was in the middle of a buy back and the price was great. He said that he had bought back 25 million on friday 25 million monday and was going to buy back at least 50 million this morning at these prices..
Checked my level two, I would say he is buying alot of large blocks where bought this morning.
Frank said look for some good news this week along with the New Web Page up today.
Frank sounded very positive about Q and said Q is up in boston, Queens, San fran.

it will help if qbid anounces that it buys back additional 2% on top of what it anounced in sept.
