Agreed kinda spooky that we are again in a quiet zone with a launch date and no new news. Has anyone been able to order the Qtn from RCN? I would order it but I am in afghanistan and it wouldn't work out real well. all the hype and rumors and everything this is GREAT! all on the line waiting for the big one will it launch?will frank come through? it's coming and its building and the weak will whine and the strong will buy!
the rumors wont stop and the pumping as much as I hate it wont stop the beashers will come and I will be labeled as one again but this is what its all about!

I dont outright gamble but this is even better!
At least this time around there is alot more support for the gay/lesbian lifestyle.

I absolutely agree, but things have pretty much repeated from the last time and here we are at the point of the last failure, I just get all crazy because I have 20k in and out and I don't want to get caught. it's a freakin rush. I did drugs in high school and have never been as high as I get from playing this crazy game. I will either hit it big here or loose it all and I could really care less but it sure is fun.

That is very true. Reading through the thread you also see that MTV has talked about starting their G/L network and they haven't been anymore successful than Frank. I totally think this is a gamble but it has good odds if you have money to risk.

ok I had to test to see if my account is working lol after typing about 1500 words I had a computer glitch I will try the short version this time lol (sarcastic it wont be short hehehe)
pinks are risky there is no stock riskier. Q will launch with RCN this september. I am willing to risk the 5300 I have invested in hopes of making a huge amount of cash. if I lose my money oh well I will move onto the next stock learn from my mistakes and try again but I dont have any thoughts of losing money on the Q
rumors are fun to read and can be exciting but newbies out there remember if you cannot personally confirm it yourself while doing your DD then do not think it is true just because you read it on a board.
some rumors are true some are partially true some are lies.
some say buy on rumors sell on news I buy on news and sell on more news. the rumors give me excitement that is all.
if you dont believe in the Q long term then daytrade it or swing trade it but just because they tried to launch once and failed does not mean they will fail this time and remember frank knows if he lies the sec is watching so that should assure you this launch with RCN is on the up and up.
yes there very well may be some problems after the launch after all this is the first time Q has actually found a distributor but, have some faith there is no bad news coming out maybe some bad rumors here and there but rumors are barely worth reading except when you wish to have some fun lol
the facts: QTN has financing and frank found more intermediate financing
RCN will carry Q this september call and ask if you dont believe(proper DD mandates you call and ask even if you believe IMO)
Q will launch the price will spike how high no one knows remember nothing ventured nothing gained.
try not to believe all rumors or any rumor that cant be verified because if you believe a rumor and then it doesnt come true youll get pissed and then comes stress and negative emotions controlling your judgement and that means no rational thought.
enough for now but I believe in the Q if I didnt I would not keep buying more shares and I am not daytrading this stock I am gonna short term some of the shares and unless bad news comes out I will keep alot of shares for the longhaul cause I have faith in the Q

excellent work. I spent 3 hours last night tru=ying to track down that info. searching for a shedule list and finally sent an e-mail to NASDAQ at info@nasdaq.com asking if there was a lost of who will be going throught the opening cerimonies. I have not seen a reply to it yet, but this pretty much takes away from that rummor nice work

Winsum, you are right--and we are so very close. Have you ever taken a really important test and walked out worried about the one you just couldn't remember? Days later you forget most of the correct answers, but the one you missed--the mistake is still in the back of your mind--it bugs you. You still can't believe that you missed it--you should have known that.
Learning is a process--we learn from our mistakes at a much deeper level because that knowledge becomes personal--we messed up and it's more relevant to us now. Frank has made a few mistakes. Why would he repeat them again? Plus, this time around we have a cable carrier which opens the door for QTN.
#1. WHY IS THE BACK ALLEY THREAD GONE? That was a good place to relieve stress..Dam, I invited U4 back there last night, and I woke up this morning and the back alley didn't even exist, It was like the twilight zone.
#2. AF1 & LT1CJ7, I hope your IP addresses are different? While AF1 is more fixed on reality, it could be the angel side opposed to the devil LT1CJ7.
Just remember we were over 20 cents with no carriers in the past.
Maybe if you owned a business you would know by duplicating your efforts and correcting the mistakes, you succeed.

It's my new strategy. When rumors start flying, send an email. Don't call, because then you have to post something that starts with, "I just got off the phone with...", and well, half of us won't believe it anyway. Plus, you'd have to paraphrase everything. Emails are the only way to relay official responses accurately to the board.
Also, that same day, I emailed Q with the same question, along with the CNBC question, and of course, I have received no reply.

RCN owns a 50% LLC interest in Starpower Communications. There partner in the deal is Pepco Electric Company. A HUGE Electricity concern.

this is not a surprise. I did a search on the cnbc web site of QBID, QTN, QTelevision, Frank Olson and came up with no info or hits.
I have given up on the e-mails to Q as i have never received a reply from them to any of my many e-mails. I have always resorted to phoneing and speaking with Susan or David. and occasionally Frank.

Hey guys...just read all the posts for today. Been busy.
Poot Poot--I personally do not mind hearing of recent rumors or reading posts from other Boards...I read it and for a little while it offers my brain a little reprieve from the harsh reality that things are uncomfortably silent at the Q. That's reality...But, I think things are progressing because of the full page ad and the contract with RCN. I'm just waiting to hear of other contracts in the works.
So, think we're all mature enough to read other's post and either store it away for future use or discard them. No big deal.
I noticed the volume was over 100 million and we were down two more ticks. I don't know if this is manipulation or if people are truly selling. Anyone out there know?
Tomorrow is 8/25...one day closer...see what will happen...things at this point could happen very quickly, so I have already put in sell orders for my short term stocks..just in case the run happens like last time...no one was prepared! Everyone was in complete shock that it went from 005 to .027. Heads up, folks. Never know what will happen hour to hour in penny land.

instead of asking questions about it why dont you go dig up the info and post it. what you are doing is not DD it is more anoying then anything. You constantly question 1BT about stuff but always fail to bring the facts. the fact of the matter is that 1BT has brought lots of usefull facts to the board. you keep talking about keeping it real why dont you produce some answers for a change instead of questions, seeins how you are so board in a tent in Afganistan you should have all kinds of time to dig. why not use it for that purpose instead of tearing apart everyone else for bringing in information.
just once i would like to see some info that you deem worthy of bringing in.

Why so hostile I had to promise to be nice and you should too. just because I am a little crazy...no need to hate. gets a little crazy out here sometimes and by the way I am an independent contractor. I am my own bussiness and I do very well...paid with tax dollars and mostly tax free to boot.

Yes, anything can happen with stocks. The new Kmart stock closed today at $77.17. Many of the stockholders of the old Kmart stock lost most if not all of their investment. Kmart got it together the second time around.

I know the answer. I was just calling him out. the outstanding shares allthough I don't have the numbers off the top of my head were considerably less like a few billion less.
