I just got another response from Downing at RCN. QTV is coming but the launch date has been pushed back to October. E-mail the guy yourself and confirm if you want.
From: Investor Relations <Investor.Relations@rcn.net> Date: Tue Aug 31, 2004 10:19:14 US/Eastern To: Subject: Re: Q Television
The new launch date estimate is October 1st- working out logistical issues such as pre-marketing , advertising, prior to launch, so the date has been pushed back.

Now I just spoke with a rep from Qtv and they said they still have the launch date for sept 4th and have not recieved word for an Oct 1st date. Something fishy is going. Why can't anything go smooth around the time when it is supposed to go smoothly? Always some sh*

Thanks Trader0--so we're sideways for another month. This gives more time to accumulate for those of us who want to add to our shares.
Sunny, how was your little fellow at lunch? School is now so very stressful even for the little ones. Younger kids use to think glasses were cool and would want to take turns wearing them. I guess that's why we keep hearing about four-year-old kindergarten--soon to be three, then two. . . . . when do they get to be a child?

Uuuuhhhh... If that's the case all around, it's gonna be a slooowww September...
Hey, remember way back when, when Susan said on the hotline the buyback would be in October? Well, if that's still true, looks like Frank will still be able to get some at a cheap price...

Q Television Network Acquires Film Package from Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Aug 31, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- In a continuing move to provide the best in entertainment for its audience, Steven Grunberg, EVP Programming for the Q Television Network (QBID), announced today a major agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution to license motion pictures for the network.
Grunberg comments: "I am thrilled to announce that some of the greatest films of all time will be part of the Q lineup. These films are an eclectic collection of dramas, musicals, comedies and mini-series designed to delight our viewers."
Some of the great dramas to be seen on Q include "Butterfield 8" starring Elizabeth Taylor, and "Dog Day Afternoon" and "Cruising" both starring Al Pacino; the musicals "The Harvey Girls" with Judy Garland and "Sweeney Todd" with Angela Lansbury and the mini-series "A Century of Women" and "Sins" starring Joan Collins.
Grunberg added, "These titles, added to our mix of fresh gay and lesbian films, concerts and documentaries will form the backbone for our new original programming that will set us apart from all others."
On another note Grunberg added that "47 people boarded a chartered bus "caravan" traveling across the country, headed for Washington, DC, to participate in a groundbreaking event - a national rally for Same-Sex Marriage Equality, where more than 100,000 people are expected to attend". On the way, the caravan stops at a dozen cities and towns across the country, including:
-- Reno, Nevada -- Laramie, Wyoming (including a visit with Judy Sheppard, Matthew's mother) -- Denver, Colorado -- St. Louis, Missouri -- Indianapolis, Indiana -- Cincinnati, Ohio -- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- Washington, DC
Throughout this journey, riders participate in rallies, festivals and grass-roots events, and their lives are affected in ways completely unimaginable.
And all the while, the Q Television Network's cameras are rolling. Under the direction of documentary filmmaker Roland Joseph Torres (whose premiere Q Television collaboration, I WILL, I DO, WE DID played to outstanding critical review), AN AMERICAN QUEST promises to deliver an unparalleled first-hand experience in the pursuit of redefining marriage in the U.S.A

This is excellent news. QTN is plowing ahead! Subscribers will really like this network...variety of shows.
Think the caravan should make trips to investor's homes...hide a camera and film the behaviors of people watching the stupid computer! THAT would be a hoot!

Th volume is great! But what's up with the pps? This thing should be up more than 2 ticks. Very odd.

OK......... I talk to another sales rep from rcn, they said their must of been a misunderstanding to my question. He said they are not airing qtelevision right now, but they are airing Here television for $8.95.
They also told me I needed to talk to qtelevision about when they would have all the programming available to them, they have not recieved that info yet. thats why rcn is unable to list what is available on there website.
I then called qtelevision unable to reach anyone the first time. second call - I talk to a young gentleman stating to him my concerns as a shareholder. I asked him if rcn will be airing qtelevision sept 4th. he said yes... I then asked him then why does'nt rcn have that information, they have nothing on their website, I talked to them directly, they told me you Qtelevision was the hold up - that you had not release your programming to them yet. The young man said " I'm sorry we are working very hard, we are still filming and working on production, were sorry for the delay".
I still beleive they will launch, they are working very hard to make this happen and to make it right and yes it may not launch on time.
PS He did say that they would release a PR in about two weeks. Hope this helps and I'm sorry for the misinformation...
