I think the pps are low because last time QTV tried to launch it was around 40 cents and they didn't launch, then it drop. I think QTV lost respect with the market so much 5 years ago that they will actually have to launch for the pps to go up. Then the MM's will take QTV seriously. JMHO

Frank needs to worry more about getting the product to market and less about a dam hotline aimed at appeasing squabbling share holders. When he has solid information on a viable carrier, big name advertising or buy back, then he needs to release that info in a PR, and maybe we will have a chance of not being flushed, anymore more BS hotline or PR's and we sink.

Dont get worried about the pps for qbid. With the funding news and the RCN news, QBID is in great shape. Alot of people are day trading this stock. It's the smart move for now. Make quick money and buy more shares of QBID or other stocks.
Just relax and enjoy the show. NEXT THING YOU KNOW SEPTEMBER IS AROUND THE CONER. 5 WEEKS AWAY FOR THE LAUNCH DAY!!!!!!

i say get rid of it the pps crashed only because of false expectations stated in the hotline now people can speculate which is better for stocks.glta

My vote is to get rid of the Hotline. It has been somewhat of a problem since day one. I don't know if anyone remembers the very first message was changed within hours due to a complaints about it referencing the O/S. The 2nd message promised a share count audit that either never happened or was never shared with us. The 2nd message was also changed very quickly. Like I said it started out a problem and will continue to be a problem unless the messages are much much more thought out than they currently are.

Hotline changed! Heres the updated message. Few things left out and added.
July 29, 2004 2nd UPDATE 2 min (est) Thank you for calling the Q Hotline on Thursday July 29th.
The hotline was created to answer shareholders most frequently asked questions and to keep our office lines free. We've recieved a lot of critism about it for many reasons including that the information incourages day trading by releasing to much advanced information.
Also, we've not always been able to do what we want to do when we say we're going to do it do on the exact day. And this creates a loss of faith with our shareholders, which we do understand. It is not our objective to dissappoint you.
For this reason we have cut back on hotline messages and are considering doing away with it alltogether. In the future when we have announcements to make, they will appear in press releases with no advanced warning.
For information that is perhaps not big enough to warrant a press release we'll post it on our website but only after it has happened.
When our programming schedule is complete, it will be posted on our website.
Since the Hotline was created for our shareholders it is up to you whether you wish us to keep it or discontinue it. We know from hearing from you that there are very many mixed feelings on this subject Let us know by email to info@qtelevision.com
Another matter we wish to address today is the question about the current share price, which so many have emailed and called us about.
We are not selling or dumping shares nor are we doing anything to negatively effect the share price. Please understand that we do not control the market.
For those of you who have been calling & emailing us asking us what effects we are having on the share price, the answer is, we're not doing anything. We want it to go up as much as you do, we do not control the market. We do not know why the stock is at its current level.
We hope that this answers a lot of the questions that you have in your emails to us. We have over 300 and can't possibly answer all of them so we do hope that this helps.

you do a great job with your posts 1BT I know I havent done much posting in a long time but Q has brought the fever back in me lol. I am always here and always reading though have been for quite awhile now not sure how long seems like 50 years lol but think its been about 2
I assume by what you said that you wanted a response from me in regards to my "childish post." As I stated in my post, I was not suggesting that QBID would ever reach the 1 dollar level. I understand that it is quite a stretch. If interested, read through all of the very few posts I have made, and you will see that I have never made any predictions on the future share price of this company. I was merely pointing out that if you cannot think of a way to reach a dollar a share without a reverse split, then you are very narrow minded a need more education. I did not even insinuate that it would ever reach that level. I was simply stating the obvious way for that to occur based on the reality of how the market works. As I stated, I was not meaning it as an attack and didn't mean any offense. I was more insinuating that you were blatantly bashing the stock with a very old tool than anything else. I'm sure we could talk about our "finance for dummies" books all day and you could even call me names like the mature person you so obviously are, but I can see by your post that you can in fact see a possible way for the share price to reach a dollar, making this whole exchange moot. You stated it below. Read my few previous posts if you like. I am not the least bit excited about QBID. Of course I hope it does well, as I have a relatively small position in this stock. I, however, have no specific expectations of a dollar a share. Do me a favor if you have a chance, please look up the financials of SIRI for me. I have a position in that stock and I was just wondering if they have the revenue or assets to support the current share price of $2.50 or the share price last month of over $4.00? You see no other altermative? No offense, but you don't have much of a grasp on finance, do you? Another alternative to a reverse splt, not even taking into account the claim to be retiring shares, would be to make a bunch of money. I'm not saying they will make a lot of money, nor am I suggesting they will reach a dollar. I am just saying that if you honestly can't think of any other alternative for reaching a dollar than a reverse split, you really should take a class in finance, or at least read a book, magazine, or newspaper once in a while. MW - Just checking in here - I think we all held our blinks a lot longer then I wished for.
Can someone help me..I can't figure it out but something is on my back or actually it might be my shoulders, feels so heavy, its stressing me out and making me tired! Feels like 200lbs weights on both sides!
Thats what it is, its a weight on each side of my shoulders. It keeps getting heavier and heavier. Last week I think it was only 100 lbs. But wait a minute let me see if I can read this right --- on 1 of them, it says "MM" and the other side, it says "qbid".. Which one do I wish to get rid of first to lift some of the weight off!!

lmfao. well I think we should get rid of the mm first and make them dig their own hole *wicked evil grin* but as for advice on qbid well I would have to say since I am in love with this stock any advice I give should not be paid attention to as I am speaking with emotions and when trading emotions only screw things up but rest assured you are not the only one that dreams of qbid and wakes up wondering about quid and calls the hotline 10 times a day and cannot stop talking about qbid and lives and breathes qbid. Now that's the ticket...no more hot line. Now I'm excited at the prospect of having audio clips of programming on that line. Shows imagination and shares actual "product" with the public. Now if they'll just quit worrying about the stockholders and not try to appease us...just get the job done...I'll be one happy camper.

I apologize for the last post must have been a computer glitch cause it did not have My message on it I made some jokes about getting rid of the MM and making them dig their own hole lol. also said that as I have fallen in love with qbid noone should pay attention to My posts lol as emotions really can screw up a traders train of thought. also my wife may create a profile cause she gets bored sitting here all day if you see someone named crosseyed joking around its my wife trying to kill the boredom lol there were a few other minor things I was gonna say but I am so tired and hungry and I need to go cuddle with my babygirl night all and be well and 1BT try meditation for 30 minutes before bed it may help with the stress of trading and the stress of qbid.

Hi Thank you for calling Q Television.
We'd like to thank all of you who responded so quickly and in such high volume to our request for information as to whether or not you would like the hotline continued.
Although we've recieved a mixed response, we do feel that the majority of shareholders would really prefer that we stop for all of the reasons that we discussed previously. Particularly that it provides to much information to the day traders. And we certainly dont want to encourange them.
We listen to you, we appreciate your input and we are going to discontinue the hotline as of today.
Franks idea is to use this line to run sound bites of some of our new programming. That would be audio exerts of some of the fresh new programming thats currently in production here at Q.
One of those is called Wow, its a woman on woman talk show format, another is a gay history program. We also have a fabulous new program coming on called Q on the move which will cover all the current events in the gay & lesbian community all over the country.
I think we're also going to have a music video program which is going to be quite exciting. As well as many other fresh new programs that are currently in production and if we're able to, we will run some audio exerts or as Frank says, "sound bites", on this line in the near future.
I dont know when they'll be available but we'll certianly post it on the website.
So keep checking out the website at www.qtelevision.com and thats it for us at the hotline so..check out the website and stay tuned.

#5. How did they view all the responses like she said when she still has the 300 emails that came in from beforehand????
#6. How do they expect to add information about programming on their website if they can t even put the latest news on the right page!!!!

Just from hearing what she said opened my mind to new worlds. Imagine all the producers that came up with a Gay "Show" but really had no one to carry it... well now they do..Hopefully they call Q Television to air their idea for a new show. I am pretty sure people are in production for a reality gay series which Q Television might air...
Think about the avenues that open up, Q Television doesn't have to be the "only" one to think of all programming, they need to fish and reel in others who are looking for a contract with a network.

1BigTip: Lucky you if you are in a postition to do that and still make some profit while waiting to jump back in. My cost average is .01 and though I'm long & patient,it sure seems like it's never going to get back to that point. I never sold a share. Always afraid the big PR would come and I'd get left chasing. Oh to do it all over again. Well, make sure you get back in b/c you really do alot to hold this group together. GO Q!
