Resistance levels are usually above the current price, but it is not uncommon for a security to trade at or near resistance.

Usually there is 1 resistance level that the stock has a hard time passing. In this case I feel its .0090 for QBID. But I like to think theres more then 1 resistance. A point in which we moved up on the downtrend but couldn't get any higher is resistance. .0062 is a nice point to pass.

Heres a nice place to learn about it. Look at the charts they use. http://www.stockcharts.com/education/ChartAnalysis/supportResistance.html

Bid 2x .0054 it means there are more buy orders.

Hope that helps.

BigTip - please draw me a picture ! I can't
understand this...seems to me that when you see L2's like your example of ask 4x.0056
and bid 2x.0054 then there are more sell
orders.
Someone please explain this ??
Thanks

I am new to this forum... I picked up 65,000 shares for .0043 (I am a broke student) and I am considering buying more... should I buy 75,000 more shares if I could pick it up for less than .006 ?

DanG!

Here's a picture for you. Visualize a list of Broadcasting National TV Networks. Now look closely & tell me how many are trading for less than a buck a share. Looks pretty empty doesn't it. IT IS!

QBID will trade for more than a dollar a share at some point.

ps think I will go to court.

O.K., firefly, you forced me to tell my speeding story--still makes me see red. About 20 years ago, I was driving several kids (mine and others') home from a swimming party with one eye on the road and one on the rear view mirror checking the backseat. I was driving maybe 48 in a 45 limit (going downhill). All the other cars were passing us, but I got pulled over. I was just shocked. The officer said that I was doing 58! in a 45 zone. I, of course, mentioned that everything on the road had passed me. He said that he couldn't catch everybody. Grinding my teeth, I got back on the road, and as I stopped at a red light, saw my reflection in a store window. In the reflection, the kids heads were not visible. Since I was wearning a swimsuit with the strap untied, I really looked like I was driving naked. (Remember this is before Brittney). Well, I did go to court. I plead innocent minus the swimsuit story. The judge said there must have been something wrong with my odometer or tires. I had to pay $50 and go to driver's school one night--it did not go on my record. Fight it. I know why that cop stopped me, and it wasn't because I was driving 3 miles over the limit. So, firefly, what where you wearing?

Thank you again, 1BigTip. This is a great site. I'm visualizing support and resistance almost like a seesaw balance. I now have a much better understanding of these terms. The first chart had the three candlesticks like you explained in your previous post. Mabe someday QBID be an example for novice chart users!

Dam. I wish I was a cop.

Goodmorning everyone. Had my lucky charms and now drinking me cup of coffee with 5 sugars.

We need to expect for QBID to take a little breather. Then again it might not. "Missing the boat" only means 1 thing.

Good morning, Q-Crew.

For "Giggles", they should get "Ant", from "Last Comic Standing". He was dispelling the stereotype that gays don't like sports. He said gays invented boxing.

2 men in a ring with no shirts on...

wearing silk shorts...

and fighting for a belt and a purse!

Winsum -- YES. That guy was hilarious! I actually voted for him. I have never, ever placed a vote for something on TV (except for CNN,CNBC) but I figured why not support Ant, he was funny. I had posted the joke he did already but its nice to see again.

I also wanted that sicilian girl to win. Its so setup! I hate TV. Hockey, Sienfeld, who's line is it anyway & Judge Judy soon to be Judge Qudy, is all I watch.

I hear ya!!! Kathleen Madigan and Tammy Pescatelli were the two funniest of the six and they didn't get voted in?!?! Gary Gulman sucks! He does ridiculously cliche dinner party/water cooler stuff, not stand up quality material... I was really disappointed last night. Although, I'm glad Alonzo Bodden beat Jay London... JMHO though.... which also has absolutely nothing to do with Q.. LOL

Think that today could be interesting. Was hoping that there would be good news to stimulate Market, but oh well... Waiting for news...hoping today, but probably on Monday....25 days to go...and counting.

Big--Thanks for the chart tips last night...eventually, it will all make sense to me...still have sooo much to learn.

Firefly--Sorry to hear about that Speeding ticket, but I say fight it too...my husband got a ticket in June. He went to court and "discussed" it...judge cut in half!!

Wishing all of us a whole lotta luck today!!

My other stocks are just sitting stagnant right now...no volume at all. Investors must be sitting back and just watching Squawk Box this morning. My beloved QBID (laugh)is the only one with activity today. If job news had been better, I think we would have popped up to 006 already. JMHO...buys are coming in for the Q.

My sister has coke with eggs. Never understand it.

Q is looking good. Low volume again.
Pinks are crazy because this 5% we're up right now is nothing but in big board stocks, 5% is hard to come by. We can see 20% again.

Thanks Qnique for the link...more info we have the better. Think RCN is going to be fine...Q and its subscribers will give it an edge...every new subscriber brings a little more $$$!

1Big--I'm with you...we are FAR from being over for the month. We are moving up, and it will only get better folks. So wished I would have bought MORE at 0036!! Can't tell you all how mad I am at myself...had the money in my account to buy 300,000. But did I? No...I've only flogged myself twice. Now I'm withholding chocolate from myself (laugh)

Oh well. Did sell the measly few shares I bought at 0036 earlier for a small profit yesterday and then bought back in...I'm still learning about patience in the Pinks! (sigh) Just for info purposes...the shares that I buy and sell now are my short term ones. Most of my long shares are between 008 and 017.

Dow is down 107 points... Hold on Q!!! You're doing GREAT!!!!

Mo info from RB, let's pray that it is true.
I read on RB message board that a person that lived in Seattle Wa. called Comcast and they said Yes! that they would be airing Q-television. I thought "yah rite". Then i saw another person say the same thing. So i called to see if it was true. "ES"! Is what i was told also. I think that they were not supposed to be giving out that info, I called back the next day and got the run around, but finally she said that it would probably be aired.
This is FACT not speculation! And i am sure that i could be sued for saying this if not true. The leak came from Comcast not Q-television.
