Pharm--Love it when you guys talk "charts" and 'stats!!"
Wanting to see 005....come on...let's get this thing a'movin...
Anyone heard anything about the NY office this week? When I talked to David about a month ago, he told me it was being remodeled and was (at that time) going to be opened this week. Wondering if that is still true?

Yes, I have a degree in Mathematics, so I know what 10% means. I can tell you that it's probably correct. If you don't think that you can point out gay people that you know, then you're not very observant.
It's also a PROVEN fact that many gay people do NOT answer as gay/partnered on surveys in order to hide their personal lives.
If you want other proof, all you need to do is research information on the 2000 Census. For that matter, check into information from employers on exactly what percentage of employees have Domestic Partner benefits. Keep in mind that it is often less expensive for a gay couple to each have INDIVIDUAL coverage at their own employment. Firstly, because two singles is usually less expensive than a "married" plan (especially if it is NOT offered as "married without children"). Secondly, because of the tax consequences it is often more expensive for a gay couple. The employee is TAXED AS INCOME on the cost of coverage that the employer pays for the partner. This is not the case for married couples. Therefore, it's often more expensive to have Domestic Partner coverage. Thirdly, many gay couples will not use DP coverage because it will "blow their cover" in the workplace.
We can debate this all day and neither of us can PROVE our points 100%. However, all you need to do is look at the world around you to realize that it's greater than 2%.
