CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pacel Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PCCL - News) today announced that it is taking immediate steps to de-list its common stock from trading on the Berlin Stock Exchange. The Company's shares were listed on the Berlin Stock Exchange without the Company's prior knowledge, consent or authorization.
Pacel has recently been made aware of an unauthorized listing of its common stock on the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange. Company executives became suspicious that "naked short selling" was taking place in its stock due to the continuous drop in share price over the past several weeks for no apparent reason. Naked shorting is possible due to the unregulated nature of the Berlin Exchange.
Legal counsel to the Company is sending a written demand to the Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange (BBSE) that it immediately stop trading in the Company's common stock by designating the Company's common stock as "NA" on the next trading day while concurrently proceeding without delay to completely de-list the Company's common stock from the BBSE.

I read this P/R as a positive. First, Pacel's management emphasizes that recent drop in share price happened with no reason. And second, delisting will definitely cut off the naked short selling.

Yes, and they should be making new pr´s soon relating the aquisitions and earnings report we should expect near .1 in about a month or so They have a really good level II quotes, very little resistance at .004 and even less at .005 and so on

I sent them an email when we first talked about PCCL on the bottom plays thread. Never had a reply from them, but that's ok, at least they took action. I told them even the mention of investigating delisting on the BE would improve the PPS. So, you guys better buy more, lol.

Guys - not bashing - I made money on Pacel when it was PCEL, but They are ALMOST (but not quite) as bad as GWDL and AFRT when it comes to Reverse SPlits. They used to print plenty of PRs back then too.
The CEO is also about as dishonest as IBZT and CDVJ's CEOs.
It seems like 90% Of the OTC and Pink CEOs are crooks. We can still make money - but we need to get in and out.

I'm not necessarily sticking up for this company however, they did bring in a new CEO on 5/6/04. The old one was a crook.

I wonder how eefective it will be for PCCL. Then I wonder if it will make a differnce for companies that begin to file for delisting in the future. At some point I imagine it will be discounted as ho hum news. The other concern, will it set them up as a target for domestic MM's? That was a question I asked regarding TSBB, but the answer seemed to be how much lower can they drive it down. Well, with an infinant amount of counterfit shares I'd imagine they could put it out of business. You did see that Dateline article where it said they were responsibile for 7,000 company failures in 6 years.

If you want go back and see how it affected the PPS of TSBB. I think LBTT delisted too. Anyone else think of any others. You can pick the date up off of the PR and see what happened to the PPS afterwards.

I went to Yahoo Finance and typed in berlin exchange in the news search and found quite a few that went up after being delisted from the Berlin Exchange. After seeing all of them, I would give PCCL a strong buy....but it's just my opinion. Go to yahoo finance and check it out. I found quite a few that went up....but it was only short term...TSBB, BIMR, IGII, SFLK Out of all that I saw, none of them continued to decline as they did when they were listed on the Berlin Exchange. This is just my opinion...check it out for yourselves and post opinions...

Sounds like more than an opinion if the PPS advanced for a short while afterwards, a day? tow days? , then it would be a fact. Can you be a little more detailed, how much they went up, how long before the declined?

Will.. It's not ho hum news.. as others posted, it does seem to create a rise in the PPS once delisting is complete.. I've seen 20%-30% for most.. I think what may come into play though, is that people are buying on the 'delisting request news' now, hence when the actual delisting takes place, there isn't nearly as much of a PPS increase as they'd expect, where as previously, people didn't really know what it meant until the actual delisting took place. IMO.
So I'm not sure what it will do to the PPS once it is actually delisted, it seems to have taken a couple days to a week for the others to get delisted. Over all though, it should go up based on previous results. Each stock is different and some are affected more than others which could also explain why some don't go up much and others do.

I understand it isn't ho hum news now, but could it be sometime in the future? I agree probably not, it is a positive for a company. PCCL announced requesting delisting, and you're probably right if you're saying you get a better pop from the announcement of filing for delisting as opposed to being delisted. The delisting for PCCL has not ocurred yet, so we will be playing the request. What caused the run today, any idea? Do you think it will run again off of this news after retracing this afternoon? If it is going to run off of this news it will gap up in the morning. I am not willing to spend one tick over the close of .0024.

Something I forgot to mention... i've noticed this on numerous stocks... when they are listed on BE, and they have either good news, or everything is lined up and they are pushing for a run, the run gets stunted. I can't explain how 'I know this' as it's more of a gut feeling.. but you watch the charts and it just seems like the run got cut short.. but when they aren't on BE, their runs seems more 'fluid' for lack of a better term.

we shall see tomorrow! I knew PR comes out when i saw TDCM bid hard at the closing bell. PCCL usually dont release PR after bell. Wow, they did release after hour today. Could there be another PR tomorrow???

The sells this morning were the day traders from yesterday taking a quick buck. I think it will slowly rise for the day with a couple of spikes either way. As soon as people realize the overall direction its going the momentum will increase!!! Good luck to all!! No selling!!!!
