Thanks Captain! But can you explain what this means...a reverse split is intended to reduce shares or make more shares? Confused. Help anyone?

TSBB was trying to sneak this one in under the radar!

It's meant to reduce shares. They take 40 shares of yours and give back just 1. So divide your shares by 40 and you will see what you will own after Monday.

Maybe they are simply trying to increase the share price by decreasing the O/S, and possibly get noticed. Much optimism there.

Thanks. I just looked up official definition on yahoo...too late for me to sell anyway. I'm just going to ride this one out...better or worse...

Regardless of how you look at it, TSBB is produces revenue...money. So, I'll just hang on and see what happens. Think the pps will go back up with the much anticipated financial statements...Also, think something may be cooking if they are trying to do this quietly. JMHO. We'll see. Do wish they had been more forthright!!

Thanks again for everyone helping me get the information (lol).

R/S on bigger markets is different than on BB.. 9 out of every 10 BB stocks that R/S go down 50-90% the first 3-5 days after the R/S.. You will be alot better taking a loss before the R/S and then buying back after things cool down.. Even after the R/S, the O/S will remain.. Not bashing in any way.. Just trying to help..

What a stinker. Just to top this stock off, dumped with reverse split. Aren't we supposed to get 10 days notice or something?
What you reckon platman? This thing still looking bright or have you taken off those sunglasses to put a peg on your nose.

Here is the info from site mentioned above. Does this actually mean the RS is effective on 8/16 or is that just a file date for the split ?

Not all reverse splits have been bad. Some have actually worked. Not saying this is the case here, of course. I just called Scottrade and they werent able to verify the reverse split, but I suppose that's hardly surprising seeing as the Nasdaq BB that TSBB is traded on doesnt follow the same rules as say, the NYSE.

Okay I just called the OTCBB number listed at the bottom posted here:
http://www.otcbb.com/asp/dailylist_detail.asp?d=08/13/2004&mkt_ctg=OTCBB

I called it to verify that the company had actually sent that info to the site. She sounded like she had just woken up (took like 7-10 rings) and was a bit huffy as if I was questioning the site's veracity (not my intention), but she said, yes, if it's posted there, then the info came from the company.

So apparently, yes, TSBB is doing a reverse split.

I dont have any investment in this one, but I figured you all would like the information. I made some money on this back when it was in the .0050 range, back when the topic was first posted, but I got out, so I really havent been looking at the stock too much...so I have no opinion on how to advise anyone in it...

Hope it works out for you all.

Just sold all shares. Lost $563 dollars. To me, that's a lot...know to others it may be pocket change. This sucks, especially since I also took a big hit on that sucky IBZT. (Big sigh).

Sorry to hear that, Sunny

I got bloodied by IBZT too...after making $1000 in it, it punched me in the face after I bought it again at too high a price..PCCL was another that smashed me for $700 recently...

I just did all the math...for me to break even on my TSBB initial investment, after the split, the pps would have to reach .28 cents!!! Like that's gonna happen any time soon! So, took a hit...better than nothing.

I also made good money on IBZT in the beginning...then I bought back in too high...Finally admitted defeat and sold. Lost 800 on that one. Man, I need chocolate!

Think I know how FL feels...beaten and severely bruised !! Wind-blown and just downright whipped!! Glad it's Friday...feel bad for those who are not aware of what's going on with TSBB...shareholders are gonna be upset once the split happens...I tried the math every which way, trying to find some hope..a better way than just selling at a loss. Couldn't find one. Seriously, just to get back my initial investment, TSBB would have to reach .28 cents. Don't know how TSBB can get away with this sudden move. Beats me...literally!

That's the only information that anyone knows about right now, I think...though how something like this slips under the radar of the newswires, (like Yahoo for example) is beyond me..

Well if this true, this might be a rare exception as a r/s that is for the good.
This company has to much going for it.
Maybe the PR that will come out will be good news. Who knows?
Im still getting over VRMD.

Well, if you use Scottrade, it shows up on your javascript trading screen. Right click the stock in the list, hit "Show Fundamentals for TSBB", choose "Splits" and there it is...40 to 1, August 16th.

EDIT: What gets me is why the guy I called at Scottrade didnt know anything about it...heck it comes up on the trading screen! Why wouldnt they know? The mind boggles. Maybe inadequately trained employees...

I am not in this one, but i did notice the drop so i looked it up.....
this PR doesn't show up anywhere else that i use. I have to say the this site that you posted the link to has provided me with UNRELIABLE data in the past, but only in the area of the share counts, not on PR... good luck.

Being green I don't have a clue as to what's going on concerning these r/s moves. When they do a r/s is there some sort of formula that's used to come up with the new stock price? And if so what will the new price be Mon. morning? Like a dummy I put most of my money into TSBB and hopfully I can recoop some Mon. morning if the price is up for a while. Good luck to those in my shoes!!!

I havn't lost loads, but its still a big loss percentage wise. from my 200 dollars at around .0058 if I sell now I get 50 back. change that into sterling and I have £27. minus TD waterhouse's extornationate fees, I would be left with £10. pointless selling really. I'm gonna ride this out. Let you all know when it makes me a millionaire.
platman , only joking you, hope you know that

Whatever the ratio of the split, that is what the price will change by as well. You'll have 1 share of the stock for every 40 shares you have now. So the price will jump by a factor of 40 as well, which would make it 6 cents a share. (.0015 x 40)

If TSBB executives are trying to build a reputable and trustworthy company, then they are morons. True morons...they release the pr after hours on Friday and the split goes into effect Monday. That is cowardly and unethical.

Loathsome people who do not deserve our money or trust.

Can you say AFRT II (the sequel)? What a pathetic cracker jack company. I can't believe that I held this piece of crap through .01- I should have dumped my shares when they started whining about the Berlin exchange instead of focusing inward on their own shortcomings. Now I'm just waiting for their CEO to say "We should be trading at $20.00 but the Singapore Exchange is whiping us out on shorts". I just don't understand what they are attempting to achieve by R/Sing us at these levels, other than to be able to dump a bunch of post-split shares on the market at a later time. If anyone can think of another reason for pulling a R/S, other than to bring the PPS to a level considered to be the minimal requirement to keep it on a certain exchange (such as Nasdaq's minimum, which is definitely not a factor with this stock), please let me know.

Talk about a low ball play, an RS pr after the bell effective on Monday. This is worse than the VRMD/VRMV mess. At least you had 1 day trading notice to get out before that split. TSBB is effective Monday.

Monday is really going to be a blood bath.

You cant trade at this pps on Monday. Monday will be a brand new company and you will have less shares if you didnt sell today. If you didnt sell today, i believe your money is gone for goods.

I'm just curious, is anyone going to contact the company and voice your anger? Perhaps someone already has? It would be interesting to see if they respond.
