Hey Plat - sorry I didn't see your previous reply.
The first 15 min after the market opens is the most volatile. If there is a major runnup the day before, there will be a shakeout the next morining so the MM's can add to their supply. If it continues to drop after 15 min, then it will probably be a down day. If it starts to rise again after 15 min for the next 15 min then it will be an up day. Vica-versa.
This is not always true, but watch long enough and you will see that it happens more than not. Happy Trading!

What Level II software are you using? Unfortunately I don't think Ameritrade shows Level II quotes for penny stocks. If they do I will re-activate my subscription. I cancelled it since I don't mess with the Big stocks anymore. Thanks.

If anyone is interested, this is a very useful tool that I use. You can also configure it to work with brokerage account. http://www.medved.net/quotetracker/

To be honest with you I think this stock stinks and is going down bigtime! Just Kidding! I do think however that there is alot of accumulating going on before the next leg up. <IMHO>

I use Streamer by Ameritrade for my Freetrade account. You really cant go wrong. Free trades - it deducts 14.99 from my account each month. (Level II, Charts, INET Viewer and all that) if you just want real time its 9.99

I was earlier. It was jumping all over the place as far as volume goes...but I'm not sure if that was a problem with the software or if was the MM's trying to sort it out.
I do have it configured to work with my Ameritrade brokerage account and it works great!

It is free! You just have to have a brokerage account to be able to get the feed for quotes. You can pay a subscription fee to have the banner ad removed and to have some additional features.

THANK YOU! I hooked it up to my scottrade account. Is there any service that will give me at least bid/ask for pink sheets that I can hook up to this?

mamboking - there are no known issues with Ameritrade today. If QT is not working, check that your firewall is not blocking access. If still a problem, email QuoteTracker support. you should get a reply very quickly.
GREGDOGG - QuoteTracker is available for free as well as paid registered version. The difference between free and registered one is that free one has ads and the intraday charts are max 2 days. Registered one has no ads and the charts can be max 10 days. Regardless of registration, you would have to have a datafeed. QT can connect to your broker's datafeed, in which case you would not have to pay anything for it. Or you can use a subscription datafeed such as IQFeed, Money.net, StockWatch, MarketFeed, eSignal, etc. in which case you would pay the datafeed vendor for the service.

Thanks Jerry, I remeber now why I erased it, I was concerned about you guys having access to my brokerage account and didn't want to turn off my firewall.

Looks like it never made it to .0075 and I hope it never does. Not trying to be sarcastic, but I want this to fly to the Moon. I don't try and pop in and out of stocks anymore. I just accumulate and then sell when it lands on the moon! Happy Trading.

I use to play long, then I didn't really need it, I've started swing trading so I'm watching more closely, now I might start daytrading so then I'll REALLY need it...

Greg - we do not have your broker login. It is stored locally on your computer and never sent to us. Refer to our Privacy Page and FAQ entry regarding this - we have very clear documentation about that
There is no need to turn off the firewall. Just need to not block QuoteTracker so it can access the net.
As for TD Waterhouse Canada, QT can get quotes from there, but for integrated trading we require the broker's cooperation, which we do not have from WH Canada.
We did just add support for TradeFreedom which is a direct access broker for US and Canadian securities and already have support for Interactive Brokers and Ameritrade Canada, both of which except Canadian clients.
By the way, for TradeFreedom, MB Trading, optionsXpress and CyberTrader clients, QuoteTracker is free fully registered.
