The only thing that came up was Sirius satellite radio and information about a UK program. Nothing about QBID, nothing about the Saturday program. How will anyone know about this launch? Access Hollywood had a moment about a new cable program "playgirl"... but no news about this QBID launch other then the PR release ads from the company & the Deveny group. So unless you are an investor... how will America know about this? Just a question I hope some of you long time QBID people can help me with. Thanks! P.S. I'll be stingy and keep my stock!
welcome ticker. that's the whole thing. that's why you see whiz keep saying "all we have to do is launch." because the real public doesn't know about qbid yet, but if q-tv actually launches, sky's the limit as to how high this stock can go. think of all the non-hardcore investors who will hear about this network, see the low price and hop on board. if this thing really launches it will surely garner a lot of press and talk on TV shows and advertisers.
i still see it taking quite some time though. imo, advertisers need to see the soft launch and make sure the programming is suitable for their advertisements before they go signing a deal with the Q. then that will take some time. that's why they say soft launch june 1 and hard launch in the 3rd quarter. they need all that time to secure advertisers and more cable companies. the soft launch happening asap is crucial. that will determine who wants to do what.

Welcome Ticker. Looks like you got in at a good time while many others took profits on a panic.
You don't have to be gay to buy this & make a profit. I'm not gay but I'm not stupid either.
I know something about social siences & degrees of acceptance.
I know alot about the history of television & why consumer driven fortune 500 comapanies will spend huge money advertising to a target audience with an estimated 500 billion disposable income.
Also have a pretty good idea why broadcasting TV networks do not trade under a buck. Do a search on that. You'll love the results.
I know the importance of being a first to market company & why they historically trade much higher than their newer peers.
I know the importance of having conviction to put things in place to reach my goals. I know that conviction was demonstrated by Frank when he brought Deveny on board.
I know a little something about risk/reward & that in this instance the numbers look to be greatly tilted towards reward.
Above all else I know There's only one critical thing between this company trading for a penny & dollars. Darogo is absolutely correct when he told you why I keep saying,,,

Don't worry about it. .0144 isn't going to help anyone. Watch and see it will open @ the close unless there is before hour trading. I doubt very much that will happen.

NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 12, 2004--Q Television Network (OTCPK: QBID), the nation's premiere 24/7 gay and lesbian television network, today announced the viewing access instructions for its "test only" phase, a five-hour analog broadcast of programming on Saturday, May 15, 2004. Viewable on C-band only, Q Television will be available on Telstar (IA) 5 (97 degrees W), transponder/channel 5 beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST, 12 p.m. CST and 10 a.m. PST. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
