Thanks,

I dont know if anybody saw this, but as I was looking at my Prizewise account I noticed this announcement:

All Users: We apologize for the credit card processing problems that were experienced by all users on Thursday, 08 July. We began a new advertising campaign and had by far our biggest day since launching. We experienced merchant account problems and software difficulties related to sudden sales which prevented 95% of all attempted transactions from being placed. We expect the problem to be fully resolved by midday Friday, and invite users to attempt their purchases again Friday afternoon. Our Yahoo advertising begins again Friday evening, 09 July. Please call customer service with questions: 1-877-774-9394. Thank you, PrizeWise Management

This came out last Friday, very good news!!!

I think customers ought to be able to select the coupons they buy from the PW website from SPECIFIC MERCHANTS rather than from a category. For example, have a variety of selections for the customer to be able to pick a coupon from the XYZ Cleaning Service just down their street in their city rather than have the customer check the 'cleaning services' category and let the customer wonder what type of cleaning service coupons will be sent to them. I understand that right now PW probably does not have that many of merchants in order to offer this but I believe that if PW were to do this in the near future, then IMO I truly believe that their business model would at the very least be as good as that of EBAY's.

Acknowledge that once a customer realizes mathematically that they can save at least a penny by seeing that they will get a coupon that they selected in their mail from PW that they will most certainly play the game. Another example; let¡¯s say a customer sees a coupon for $1.00 that gives him $1.50 off on a particular brand of diapers from Krogers. Of course, the savings of 50 cents could be an understatement of what customers in general will save. But the main point here is that the customer sees the obvious savings, and that is what spurs him to subscribe to PW. This is what I believe what sells PW. It would not just be qualitatively but also quantitatively beneficial to ALL parties, firstly the customer, then the merchant and the seller of items and lastly PW of course. And the beauty of it is (as all of you know) that all parties can see the big benefits for themselves: Customers save money from the coupons that they buy, sellers sell their items at higher than retail prices, PW gets its 25% commission and merchants attract more customers

I have checked with prisewise about offering coupons for my business and the program you are discriping is available, it is up to the merchant to determine the value of his coupon. Just FYI

Ok so i have an idea i wanted to run by the board. It is a far out idea but what the heck. I just finished watching the home run derby were the winner got a house..or 250,000 towards a house from century 21. Next i saw a commercial for Publshing Clearing House and they are giving away a big prize at the end of Aug. So my idea is that the big ticket items will not close by deadlines causing people to repost which isnt a big thing, but lets say prizewise does some kind of match on 1 Big ticket item...sports car, house ..something big. It would be kind of like your 401k match...you but int 5 tickets on that one item and they match your 5 giving you 10 total entries. Sure they are footing half the cost just to get that item off, but then they could have news coverage on it. ...what do u all think?

The more people that know about it, the better for everyone. I think they may already have that in the works, just waiting for a little larger volume after the commercials are in full swing.

I think that is an awesome idea. I thought about something like that awile ago. If they did that on say the harley or something, and it sold fairly quickly that would make cnn.com. You should shoot them an email or something, just to see what they say. That would definately make the headlines somewhere. Anyways, great idea!

The only way to go up is to go down first, otherwise you'd already be there. So we await news on new numbers/traffic going to their site. Need to give it a couple of days for the commercials to kick in the traffic... anyone in the Northern CA area see any yet?

21st Century's prizeWise Begins Marketing with New Features
Tuesday July 13, 12:15 pm ET

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2004--21st Century Technologies, Inc.'s (OTC:BB TFCT.OB) portfolio investment company, prizeWise.com. has updated site functionality to handle the run up in traffic expected over the next 60 days. Steven Rinehart, President of prizeWise,Inc. advised 21st Century that many features have been overhauled, including almost 300 new subcategories added for new prizes, and an expanded frequently asked questions sections. Powerful new servers and firewalls, capable of handling, and being expanded to handle, up to 100,000 concurrent users have been shipped to prizeWise, Inc.'s London collocation facility, where they are being installed in a server cluster. New customer service reps have been trained, and new phone lines installed.
Kevin Romney, President of 21st Century Technologies, met with management, designers, programmers and employees about streamlining operations over the coming weeks and months.

Yahoo! banner advertising began Saturday, July 10, 2004, in four major sections of Yahoo!. The immediate result of these banner ads was evidenced by over 4,000 visitors at a time on the site during Saturday afternoon. 21st Century stockholders can see the new prizeWise.com ad, and other ads currently being run, at the new URL: www.prizewise.com/banners.asp. Steve Rinehart advises that prizeWise.com will be spending up to $100,000 marketing prizeWise.com on Yahoo! during the next 60 days, and will run approximately 60,000,000 impressions on various search engines. PrizeWise.com further announces it plans to begin a major advertising campaign in approximately 60 days.

Negotiations are in process between prizeWise.com and two major coupon retailers for coupon distribution on prizeWise.com, which if finalized, will improve the database and coupon selection features.

PrizeWise.com experienced a glitch in its merchant accounts on July 8, 2004, which has caused some sporadic credit card processing difficulties, notably with Discover and American Express. PrizeWise.com is resolving these issues, which should be finalized soon. Additionally, there are some issues to be resolved regarding the server cluster installation and some planned marketing is being held pending resolution of the issues.

In the coming weeks, prizeWise.com will be implementing new features, including a charitable sweepstakes section, with modified rules, and no minimum ticket amount necessary to close.

Of course you know this means we go down... :P

Sounds like they are doing the right thing to keep the sites responsive, that's the key. Lots of advertising, although they didn't mention the TV commercials maybe a separate PR after the 19th?

[EDIT: ADD] Time to buy more on the dip.

"PrizeWise.com further announces it plans to begin a major advertising campaign in approximately 60 days. "

I wonder if the impatient types are selling. 60 days is a long time. For those who consider this a long-term investment --- relax, buy more, take a walk...

I plan on holding over a year.

I am just as unhappy as everyone else in this... just picked up some more at 0.106. I might have been better placing an order closer to 0.10. Still though, they seem to be reving up for some major growth. I did not plan on being to long in this one, but now it looks like I just might be. I think we can expect some big things from them in the coming months. GLTA
