Thank You!
I work days, so I'm not even going to
attempt to day trade this one.
The last time I tried that I put the
sell order in, went to work and when I came home the price was out of my reach.
So, I'm going to hold!
Thanks again!

GCHitman lol...

ironically... my question looked like it started a thread of people talking about their brokerages!

Anyhow... WOW! What a week guys... y'know I think I'm spoiled here. I mean basically this last 6 month's is my first impression of investing. So I'm up almost 300% and thinking... gee if my IRA hit's at least 60% every year then I'll have X amount of dollars byt eh time I'm X age... and so on and so forth. Heh...

Gotta keep my head in check!

It doesn't always work like this.

Thank goodness I discovered allstocks!!!!

Your quite welcome and thank you for the thank you.(lol) I am off work monday and am ready to play right now. Cant wait till 8:30 cst monday morning. I think I will play qbid again if it drops nicely, I am getting more scared of this one. The volume is still good but drying up slowly. For short term buying that isnt good on a stock thats up so much already. fnix is another one I am going to buy monday. Keeping my eye on siri it has consistantly been going up, fell back a bit yesterday and some today. Another good dip, about $3.25-$3.35 or so I am going to get heavy with margin and buy it. Anyhow just thinking about monday.

Hehe, I'm going to have to wait a whole week before my next QBID update! How am I supposed to relax and enjoy my vacation! I don't recall ever being on one where I couldn't wait to get back even before I left! Here's hoping I'll have a nice suprise waiting when I get home.

Well I am in a good mood.
Take that however you wish.

I talked to Steve today.
Believe me or not.

I was pissed, and eventually I got him.

He said for me to chat with him at the Booth.

As for the cost to get in to the convention being waved or anything, no. I still have to pay.

Ok people, we all want to know what the next trend is before it happens, well, we are in it from the beginning. 'Listen this out'. No jokes playing, think about it.

Trends:

(1)Agriculture
(2)urban industrialization
(3)assembly line production
(4)transistor technology
(5)evolution of computer technology
(6)wireless technology
(7) HERE AND NOW ( GAY MOVEMENT )

Don't miss the boat, believe it or not.

All you have to do is, research all the major companies and see the area's they are promoting too. It's only the beginning.

I am wanting to know all the beginning stocks that will be making millions/billions off of this trend. You find them, and post them, as I will. We can all be billionaires soon from the next trend. WE KNOW IT'S HERE, just do you want to admit it.

QBID --- Q Television Network

It is and will be the ICE BREAKER to the world of open belief's. No more sheltering, no more closet hugging.

OPEN FAITH, OPEN FEELINGS, OPEN EVERYTHING.

If you don't believe me, research the sex toy market, what happen when that came open to the public, they denied it and protested it at first, but guess what. It's a lucrative market and the Gay/lesbian market is next. I have spent extensive hours researching the market and why it is coming. I don't expect many people's trust, but us QBID investors know, if you have done your DD. It's coming.

I want to be the next Ross P. or Bill G. or etc.

Its a trend coming, and coming HARD. Do you want to say in the next 5 years, damm I wished I would have gotten in at the first of this. I would be a millionaire/billionaire. I see the big corporations already noticing this. Why can't everyone else. Denial due to faith. Faith has never held back anything that wanted to make its way into the everyday life. Its proven. Why is it proven? Well , if you know history, we are no longer in the dark ages ruled by priest and warlords.

Just do your DD and post your findings, cause I am. I see it coming and I will be the one glad I seen it and wasn't in denial or disbelief due to my faith I follow.

The research and technology of this is called SMART TAG's / BARCODING of the FUTURE. I personally was part of the research for the major donate's.

IE. Wal-Mart being #1.

Oh yeah, no more Barcoding. Smart Tag's is the future.

My College Research Papers on this will cost people.

I spent years on this stuff and got acknolodgments, etc. Don't forget, I graduated from A&M with a degree in this field(Technology Mgmt). I personally contributed to the research to an extent.

The changes in life this will make will be as much of a change as the INVENTION of the transistor.

Research it, and you will start sending me emails about it, GUARANTY.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but is "Here! TV" related to QBID in anyway?

Gay TV is Here!

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Here! TV, a supplier of gay- and lesbian-oriented content to satellite customers via pay-per-view, is eyeing an October 1 lauch for a round-the-clock programming service that will feature classic and original films and TV shows.

As part of its pledge to produce more than 200 hours of original programming a year, Here! TV has given the go-ahead to 12 original movies and four original series.

The Here! TV original series include "Dante's Cove," a gay and lesbian Gothic horror thriller currently filming in the Caribbean, and "Weapons of Mass Destruction," a spy thriller starring Cynthia Rothrock as a lesbian action hero.

Its slate of original movies includes "Deadly Skies," about a colonel thrown out of the military because of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy who saves the world from a killer asteroid; "The Sisterhood," a female version of Dave Decoteau's "Brotherhood"; "Too Cool for Christmas," a comedy about a teen and her two dads; and the thriller "Snowman's Pass."

Additionally, Here! TV has inked licensing deals with TLA Releasing, Wolfe Video, Strand Releasing and Regent Worldwide Sales for 200 gay and lesbian independent film titles.

The company also will introduce a subscription video-on-demand service consisting of 30 hours per month beginning June 1 and will make the three- to six-hour pay-per-view slate currently on DirecTV and EchoStar available to cable operators via VOD or PPV.

All Here! TV services will be offered on a revenue-share basis with satellite providers adding the channel to their platform as a pay-per-view service, in four-hour programming blocks or on a monthly subscription basis.

True. Very True. Although you made a wide range of trends. If you look deeper each industry has its own trend. Take marketing:
1940's - Door to Door sales (Avon, Encyclopedia, ect.)
1950's - Franchising. Servicing customers(McDonalds)
1960's - Network Marketing. Selling, by hiring people to do it for you (Amway)
1970's - Catalog Sales (Sears ect.)
1980's - Infomercials (QVC,ect.)
1990's - Warehouse clubs. Different manufactures under 1 roof. (Costco,Home Depot,Sam's Club)
2000's - One to One marketing. People who purchase from someone they know by word of mouth(Market America)

Not to familiar with TV, I never watch it but
Music Videos
Movie Channel
Weather Channel
Learning Channel
Black Entertainment
Womans Network
Ect. Ect.

Don't you think its perfect timing for the Gay channel?

Imagine buying McDonalds stock in 1950? Who would of imagined someone sitting in front of a commercial for 30 minutes watching a product for sale..Ever hear of QVC?

Sleep on all that ~

Actually, you went deeper indepth. I pointed out the start of each trend, not the TREE.

As well, we know its here. I see it, do you?

Anyhow, I have preached and will do my research some more and go with the flow of life.

May I be rich from Life.

arrrrggghhh!!

i was in a QBID frenzy 2 days ago during the rush. sold my VRMD for a small loss - today it went up 68% (from where i bought it) after 3:30 on news they were retiring 73% of the outstanding shares. it'll probably shoot to the moon monday! i've been kicking my a*s all day!

also 2 days ago i sold all my hnns (for a small profit). as soon as i did they had an earnings report and now it's up as well (only 11% on the day, where it was up 40% during the day). i've had these stocks for awhile i they haven't done anything! now i sell and they go ballistic. grrrrrr!!

i'm pis*ed. the only way to make myself feel better is to get more QBID (at a reasonable entry point).

it looks to me like a good support level is around .015. the past 3 days it closed near there each day regarless of the fluctuations of the day. i'm thinking a good entry point might be around .0145 to .015. of course if it's dropping like mad like it does sometimes, wait that out, but i don't think those numbers are too bad to jump back in.

any thoughts?

thanks.

looks like I might be the only one up at this hour...and I just had a thought. You might have to go with me on this one....At this point I have had more than a few...I was watching my dogs, when I got home not to long ago. I have always noticed that they tend to circle (walk in small cirlces) before they lay down to sleep. curious why they do this, I decided to look it up. Apperently they do this out of instinct. Back in the days they used to circle to flatten out any grass they would be resting it. You know make it comfortable. they tend to get up, and do it a few times before they actually go to sleep. Well then I started thinking about QBID. How do these two fit together you might be asking...well I don't know if they do. if they don't, at least I have managed to waste a minute of your time. But try to follow me on the rest of my thought, as I said I have had a few...it seems to me that something similar has been happening with QBID, the gay community, and the hetro's as well. for ex. The gay community can be has been trying to *circle* itself into the hetro community (*the grass*). It might be reaching a point now where the grass is flat enough to rest on. To further that though ... this network, being launched at this point will take some *flattening out* before it is *worthy* of being a true station. With enough effort put into its launch and programing, there really is a chance at its becoming legit. The almight dollar being the reason behind this launch, with the (in my opinion) perfect timeing, really gives us an opportunity to exploit this stock for all it is worth. You see to me money is the same thing as the grass might be to the my dogs. It is just something I have to have under control in order to have a good nights rest. QBID IMHO is the the way to achieve this rest (at this point). I have been doing a lot of thinking about this company in the past days. It truly seems that they have all their ducks lined up in a row. If the NTCA show goes well, and their soft launch, we will all be sitting pretty, in our own respective patches of flattened out grass!

Well just felt like sharing my alcohol induced thought process, hope everyong understood what I was trying to say. And at the least I hope I have instilled just a little bit more confidence into any who might be waivering. This stock makes sense right now. It might not for long, but it is our duty as capitalists, to try and take it for all its worth, at least while it does make sense!
night all have a great weekend.

I just want to thank the person that posted that accending triangle and talked about crossing over the mac. The chart showed we were at the inside tip of the triangle which meant ready to explode... Well we did.
Who was that and do you have the updated chart of that?

Thanks!

Ask your dog what to do about capital gains tax. I asked mine but she just turned her head and starting licking her ass. I know that she knows and she knows that I know that she knows but she ain't talking. Maybe you will have better luck with yours.

P.S. The cat just lick her ass I think shes in on it.

Market Focus: Gays and Lesbians
By Tricia Despres
June 2003 Issue

Not too long ago, gay and lesbian consumers were considered "advertising's most elusive yet lucrative target market." Yet these days, more and more closet doors are swinging open and hitting advertisers right where it counts...on the bottom line.

The gay and lesbian market represents one of the largest, most affluent minority-marketing groups in North America. No matter what you are selling, the gay/lesbian marketplace has become a vital component in one's overall marketing plan.

"Our money is just as green," said GLAAD entertainment media director Scott Seomin. "We can no longer be ignored."

There was a time that it was nearly impossible to market to gays and lesbians simply because many were not revealing their sexual orientation. Therefore, finding solid data on this elusive target has always been difficult. Yet, thanks to an increase in secondary research vehicles such as independent case studies and surveys, new data regarding this affluent market is beginning to trickle in, and make a huge impact.

Recent U.S. Census Bureau figures show that there are over 19 million openly gay and lesbian people in North America. A published survey from the University of Georgia measured the buying power of this market to be in excess of $450 billion, with a similar marketing survey by Simmons Market Research showing an average household income of a typical gay male to be 41 percent over the national average.

In the past, many media buyers have played it safe by centering gay-themed ads in gay-friendly cities such as San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. Yet, recent Census figures revealed that over 600,000 same sex couples live in nearly every county in the US.

Nearly ten years ago, Swedish furniture retailer IKEA became one of the first mainstream retailers to run a gay-themed ad during primetime television. As viewers took a collective gasp, company heads across the United States began to realize the changing definition of the mainstream media.

These days, major automobile advertisers such as Jaguar, Volvo, and Saab have all made big news by launching major advertising campaigns specifically targeting their loyal gay and lesbian consumers. Besides traditional media, these very same companies are also sponsoring gay events, awards, and causes.

The travel industry has also long seen the value of these brand-loyal and affluent consumers. San Francisco-based gay and lesbian travel communications firm Community Marketing, Inc. found that gays and lesbians travel more frequently, visit more exotic locations, and spend a lot more money once they reach their vacation destination than their heterosexual counterparts.

If a company decides to advertise to this marketplace, gay consumers say they want to see ads that reflect their life and culture. The 2002 Gay Press Report by New York-based firms Prime Access Inc. and Rivendell Marketing showed that mainstream advertisers are now using more gay-focused artwork, themes, and messages to reach these consumers, with fewer relying on generic, mass-market ads.

Yet, this sort of affiliation with the community runs much deeper than a few print ads or 30-second spots. A gay/lesbian study done by GLCensus Partners (Syracuse University and OpusComm Group) showed that eight out of ten respondents agreed that they were more likely to buy products or services from companies they knew were "gay-friendly." Almost half of all the respondents agreed that when deciding on a product or service, they attempt to find out if the company is gay-friendly.

The fact that advertisers are becoming much more comfortable with the homosexual sector as a whole has much to do with the ever-changing view of gays and lesbians as they are portrayed on television. Back in the early 1990's, groundbreaking shows such as Ellen and MTV's The Real World exposed primetime audiences to gays and lesbians who were surprisingly, just like them.

Although it continues to be a sensitive issue, gay characters and storylines on primetime TV have become commonplace. The majority of the American public has found themselves embracing characters from such shows as WB's Dawson's Creek and NBC's Will and Grace. "Will Truman is one gay man who is welcomed into millions of American homes each and every week," said Sieman from GLAAD. Even the edgy Showtime program Queer as Folk gets accolades from heterosexuals and gays alike.

"Mass media images are very powerful," says founder and CEO Howard Buford of New York-based Prime Access, an agency that serves more Fortune 500 companies in the gay market than any other agency. "It gives a sense of comfort and familiarity to this sector of people. Yet, other factors such as marketing and politics also have to be at work to really see an obvious shift in viewing," continued Buford.

Advertisers are finding that one of the best ways to directly target the gay/lesbian marketplace is via the Internet. The Internet allows gays and lesbians to socialize, buy goods and services, and do research without any sort of public scrutiny. A recent, combined study by Harris Interactive and Witeck-Combs Communications shows that 32 percent of gays and lesbians are online for over 21 hours each week, compared to 17 percent of non-gay users. There are a wide variety of Internet sites that cater especially to this marketplace, with both gay.com and planetout.com leading the way.

The gay/lesbian community realizes that for many advertisers, this is virtually uncharted territory. "For a company to enter into this arena of advertising it is often based on one or two people at the top having some kind of tie to a gay or lesbian individual in their own lives," says Buford. "They are also looking at overall research and what their competitors are doing in terms of advertising to this bracket of people. It definitely gives you a competitive advantage."

Straight Couples Turned Away From Key West Hotel

KEY WEST, Fla. (April 16) - Three heterosexual couples said they were turned away from a hotel in this gay-friendly tourist spot because of their sexual orientation.

The six were vacationing with a gay couple and had reservations at a hotel called Big Ruby's when the three straight couples were turned away.

"The manager literally said, 'We don't want you here,"' said Jim Pirih, who was vacationing with his partner and straight friends.

The group was already settled in their rooms Wednesday when the manager told the straight couples they would have to leave, citing a policy of not allowing heterosexuals on the property, Pirih said.

"He said he had to appeal to the majority, and the majority of guests wouldn't want straight people there," Pirih said.

The six were allowed to stay one night but had to check out Thursday morning, Pirih said.

Big Ruby's did not immediately return a phone message Friday.

Key West has a city ordinance that prohibits discrimination by sexual orientation in housing and lodging. Violators can face a civil citation and be fined up to $500.

Scott Fraser, executive director of the Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Key West, said any discrimination based on sexual orientation is wrong.

"Whether it's a couple turned away from a place of business because they're gay, or a straight couple refused admittance because it's a gay facility, socially and legally that's discrimination and equally as unacceptable," Fraser said Friday.
