All I saw on that report was: slugish economy, slugish economy.......no jobs.....bad housing market.....we're in trouble and we're gonna fake it to MAKE things go up....ain't gonna work in my opinion.

Looks like we are very close to our turn. My charts haven't been showing up here when i post so we'll see if I can get a couple links working. Not seeing divergence crossover or anything to get really excited about at the moment imo but the little red line (- divergence) is starting to turn down and there is improvement on the oscillator. I don't see a major stress on any of my indicators which imo will keep volatility fairly even so I'm not expecting any major radical moves. More like a steady reversal to see if the bears will be able to knock out a few bulls at a time. Kinda like when you see a few stocks from yesterdays highs slowly sink so in a few weeks you're kicking yourself for not taking at least some profits off the top. My dow target was 10,700 and we actually hit 10,833. If my bearish turn call is wrong and the dow somehow manages to break back above 10,8 it could change the picture. I'm not seeing much reason (or logic if there is any) to put the "hope" factor for the bulls to keep us going right now without at least some form of a "reset" but I do see this as a good time to be at least more cautious. Just my rambling gibberish opinion. Let me know what you guys think.

Boo-My guess is that you are fairly accurate in your thoughts. And besides that I think you are much more of a master of the charts than I am. Although My feeling is that the market is going to reverse faster than you think. Maybe that's just wishful thinking since I'm into FAZ. We'll see.

imo it's a tough call since as I mentioned I didn't see any real stressed indicators. Zee just told me he got his post from another source also lol but i wanted to show that there are many different theories out there. If we just go sideways a bit then maybe we can consolidate and continue. Who knows.

as far as going short on SIRI goes...the spread is way too big to play the trading in and out game on that stock...I prefer just to buy the inverse crap...FAZ, SRS, TZA..that has always been a good strategy for me...

a while back for many years...funny as it may seem..i used ADBE as a leading market indicator... it worked very well and continues to do so in current market trends...boy o boy did it take a crash today...hmmmmm...if the past hold true...that should be fantastic for all us lemmings holding FAZ...

Waiting for a bit here. support was broken so waiting to see how things look going into tomorrow and next week. That's what my 20% risk factor was for incase somehow we spike right back up to 11k. Doubt it but...

Yeah Morph, that is the question. What is the next move?? The market has been in an up-down-up-down trend for the past 3 months. Trading has been slugish, job market doesn't look good, as well as housing and the auto market. And of course the overall economy doesn't look so good either. I think the the European market is a little shaky too. So do we follow the charts as far as watching it top out?? Or what?? Right now I'm mostly following the charts. But maybe just pulling out a good percentage would be good enough and then buy back in if it looks good...?? Any input fellas??
