Idid not buy anything on tuesday...but I just opened a position into KIRK at 11.04 and added 500 shares to AMD at 5.93...its looking like it could be a reversal day perhaps???? Im into going long before the 6:50am PST reversal which happens all the time...new home sales are comming out at 7 so grabbing long is a real gamble at this point..

I'm wondering if this market is ever going to start to reverse. It's been down just about everyday for a week or more now. If we do see it headed back up, with some strength behind it, it would be a great time to go long on lots of stuff in my opinion. I'm long on F right now. SIRI looked good at .95xx yesterday....lots of volume there too.

TJ...i agree on that...Im in the red on my trades for the last week...once again..bad timing...but currently my big holdings are SIRI and MSFT and the more active trade plays for me are LVS (which i just added some at 27.22) ..AMD KIRK DRN ..I did bail on OMX at yesterday open for a loss there..blah.. as for right now...im thinking the bad news is in and we go up from here...??? [Good Luck]

Yeah Morph, I'm red on F right now also. But, I have a lot more faith in F than a lot of other things, so I'm still holding. When I see it and the market definately headed back up I might double up on it, or at least buy more to get my break even price down a little.

"I'm thinking the bad news is in and we go up from here.....???".......I hope your right!! [Wink]

So, where are the votes today for GREEN OR RED at EOD?? Historically it is usually red or almost even at EOD. I'm throwing the dice and saying it's going to go GREEN (slightly)and start a green trend into next week.

that all depends on your thinking which way the dow/market is going to go...today is a good day to pick up some bargins long...take your pick..AMD DRN DOLW JCP SHR SHLD BAC TEVA MMM OMX ODP...the list goes on and on...buuuuuutttt...you gotta ask yourself...."Am I bottom fishing...or...am I trying to catch a falling knife"....
my holding are MSFT SIRI AMD and DRN, which I added to to this morning at 40.55...this mimics the dow really close..(as does FAS)so there ya go...good luck to us

Another thing to think about is we are about to begin September. September is historically the stock markets worst month, so anything can happen. Who knows, I know Sept. sucked for me last year. We'll see.

will check out the video when i get home tonight

i sold TC at 9.05 - made 6% in matter of couple days...awesome return if u annualized.....happy camper....

also on such huge up days, is there a play besides the bounce you refer to Morph? it looks too much of investment and have to time it just right or it can backfire...i know u have to look at % always but it looks like too much risk for too little reward...? may be i am crazy...

Still in F here waiting patiently on it. Hoping to add to it soon. Bought LCC late yesterday and then sold it at a peek a few minutes ago, made just a little but that's ok. looking for another quicky for today or overnight. Although the market could be kind of flat today after that BIG GREEN day yesterday.....we will see. [Good Luck]

Probably should have bought some SIRI when it was at .95.
