Hell, I have no idea how much money I made off FNM. Holding 5,100 shares. Sold 10,000 shares at $1.25 as posted I would do before the camping trip. I think my average was $1.155. So guess that makes $950 profit. Still sitting on 5,100 shares. Up $231 on it.
Still holding SIRI. Down really overall because I sold for a loss but its showing as if I'm $739 ahead. I'd say I'm down still. Overall on SIRI on this account alone. I have lost about $1,400 on SIRI. So the $739 gain makes a $661 down.
So, predicted 9,600 on Friday. Well, 9,506 is close enough. So, called STEEL buy on the wrong day. Guess you could of grabbed it around $32 according to my father....but I only see it around $34. I know he said he made $2.50 a share and bought in on Monday. Maybe it did drop that low. To tired to look.
So....guess I better load up again and go on another trip. Maybe if I drink twice the amount of beer, the profits will double....
Anyways....few thoughts. Michigan has 15% unemployment. Not sure what the stats are for everything. But a pull back....hmmmm???? Maybe....
Well, see you all Monday morning and I'm close to day trading guidelines. Hmmmmm?????

I'm going to be playing stocks slightly more aggressively very soon. Buy/Sell/Buy/Sell....etc.
FNM....$1.40. Might sell and jump back in.
FRE....$1.90. Might play this one too if it drops.
MT.....$37.30.....up again today. I noticed that AA seems like the stock that has room to move up now out of X, NUE, AKS, AA, MT
MSNBC clowns are talking about a 10% drop in the market for a correction. I think its BS. They just want to rape us of more money I think. Now think about this....What happens when the market hits 10,000 next week.....??? Won't that be scary!!! I think when it happens...people will be selling hard. But then it all gets oversold and they buy back in pushing the market to 10,300 by the second week of September.
FNM....$1.42...almost at my sell....maybe I will raise that a bit. $1.55???

OK, all the brainiacs that know way more than I do please help! Because of my inexperience, I got into DUG a while back and it's KILLING ME!! Overall, when I look at my day trades I've done in the past 3-4 weeks, I've been doing fairly well. And If I can free up my money in DUG I'd have more to trade with. More in something more out...you get the picture. If R1 is predicting the market still surging up close to 10,000 next week, I'm gonna be in even more trouble. I can't hold on to this for another 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or who knows when?!?! WISHING it's gonna come up is a terrible possition to be in! I feel I need to get rid of this, this week. I'm gonna take a big loss, BUT, like I said , If I can free up that money I think I could do a lot better daytrading where I can see the range/lows/highs etc. according to the charts. The more I do this, day-to-day trading is the better way to go for me until I have lots more money to put here and there for longer term trading. SO, THE BIG QUESTION IS: R1, MORPH, RAJ, SJU, MAD, Where do you all see DUG going this week?? Where's the best high point going to be??

TJ, been there done that. I lost $3500 in DRYS collapse. about 50% of what I was playing with. I cut my losses and played it back up. What are you averaged in at?

MAD...I've bought it and bought it down again, my average is about $19.25. At this point I can't buy it down anymore It would take too much of what I have left. I'm loosing about $4400 right now. Hard to admit.

it's at it's june support, if it goes below that I would sell. If it starts going sideways, tough call, if it has an up day tomorrow I would set an exit point with a trailing stop.

I am calculating you are down 20% or so? If you cut your losses, you should be able to make that back pretty quickly with that amount of money. I also think there is potential to make some of that back near term by holding it. It has to be your decision, it is your money. Inverse etf'/etn's are the devil if you get burnt. I call it stupid tax.

Scott....I say hold it. Right now the market is deep into the waters. Not sure how long it can swim but you will be ok. Here is something I was thinking about the past few weeks. DTO...WAY WAY DOWN. $71.30. I think it will stay around its current price and will likely jump back into the $80s. But that is a thought....so who knows.
FNM....looks like it will open lower slightly...but sideways trading. However....here is the trump card. Benenke is reappointed. Traders will like that. So FNM will likely touch $2.00 this week.

ultra shorts/ultra longs, man those can be tricky. I don't play them cuz i can't baby sit them. good luck TJ.
i won't say buy or sell, there are others more qualified than me by far, and with so many stocks pushing into the overbought area it makes the call even more tricky. double bottom at 15.00 even but saw the higher low at 15.10 and now below the bollinger showing oversold. MFI doesn't appear to have found bottom yet but could be catching some support. not saying buy/sell, just watching. best of luck.

I agree with R1, TJ. I would probably hold it if you can. I have already lost my ass on ETF's like this one as well. FAS & FAZ have burned me many times. I stay away from these anymore.
However, if you are patient and hold you should be able to rebound, IMO. I already had lost everything, and I mean everything on a stock that I went all in on, and the next day it went BK. I had no choice but to hold it. I held it for three months and in the end I cashed in a 120% gain. I learned through this experience that patience is the key.

FNM....here is the $2 bucks. I never took my sell order out last night and sold at $1.77 for a $180 gain. DAMN!!! I had 10,000 shares. I will play a bounce on it or something else.
