I put a bid in to buy 125 shares of AKS at $19.50. Well, off to do some work.

Good luck all.

Six Flags declares bankruptcy, I've been watching WOLF for a while and I'm wondering if this news will cause a drop in price as an indicator of the sector performing poorly overall, or if the price will rise with the loss of a competitor

Cheers!

I'm just watching, I can't always jump in and jump out so I miss out but that’s okay. This reminded me of XTNT when one minute they are liquidating and then the next they have something that might send them to the moon. Could it just be another attempt to manipulate the traders? probably, but that makes doing the DD all the more important.

SOAP already pushing $4 pre-market but pretty low volume, watching to see if the bottom falls out or if they already have a plan.

Tuesday was very interesting. SRS/FAZ/SKF down....Metals up....then opposite close. I hope wednesday's financial mess will pan out for me. They are talking about credit today. So financials should jump or crash. I'm betting they crash....hope I am right.

NEW YORK, June 17 (Reuters) - Sirius XM Radio (SIRI.O) subscribers will be able to download software on June 18 that lets the satellite radio service's programming play on Apple Inc's (AAPL.O) iPhone.

"Beginning tomorrow, the (iPhone) App will be available," a customer service representative for the New York-based company said on Wednesday.

The iPhone service, which can also be used by iPod Touch Wi-Fi users, will be free for Sirius customers who subscribe to its Internet option. Others will have to pay about $3 month, the representative said. read more here

Ha ha ha. I freaked out last week and sold most of my siri. Then I came to my senses and bought it all back at .33 this week.

It's funny, cause the last Fool article I read about siri was all "what if the apple thing never happens?" ****ers.

I almost bought siri at .41 to ride the momo, glad i held off, maybe too many shares needed to move it back up after already getting this far. We'll see.

Yeah. I think it will still do well over the next few months. No Howard Stern, etc. is a bit of bad news, but overall the iphone app should help SIRI. IMO

sju1973 ...the limited apps on Iphone blows...but i the grand scheme of things will do little to hurt SIRI book value and thus the bottom line. There main source of revenue is autos...Dont forget.. big contracts were just signed with Toyota, Lexus, Volvo and others and they also have just about every other car mfg out there..9 million + new cars this year..a monopoly..there customer base is growing huge daily and the quarterly report is comming soon. With Chrysler coming back into the picture now, nothing but pure cash flow...I do believe that they kept Stern off the Iphone so as to not interrupt the auto dealers cut of the pie (they make cash on the sale of the units per car)..if Stern, MLB and NFL is on Ipod..then who would order the unit in the car..SIRI did however include Oprah in the Iphone and she is a big draw...tommorrow will be interesting and a great opportunity to pick up more cheap shares into the earnings reporting season..as they approch the reporting date this stock will jump leaps and bounds..count on it..

I think the pullback was just profit taking.. unloaded 50K shares right at the open for .425 just to bank some coin, and wouldnt you know it it pulled back soon after and i bought em back at .36 later in the day..pure luck...I still really am all over SIRI for many reasons...some of which are..
The new app allows users to access some of the service's sports, talk, comedy, and music channels. The available channels include, Oprah Radio, MLB Home Plate, NFL Radio, NHL Home Ice, Mad Dog Radio, The Foxxhole comedy channel, and NPR.
Users will also have access to a variety of Sirius XM music channels, including E Street Radio, The Grateful Dead Channel, Eminem's Shade 45, Radio Margaritaville, Siriusly Sinatra, and others. All told, users will be able to listen to 120 channels. Any music track can be purchased in iTunes while listening to it in the Sirius XM app...so i think with apple releasing G3 Iphone today..SIRI will reap some benifit

BooDog...after reading that story on ACAS, I would only day trade this and not hold over night..cause the end could be any day..
However, the Bethesda, Md.-based company (ACAS 3.10, -0.17, -5.20%) remains in default on debt covenants and faces a tough challenge to get covenant waivers from different groups of lenders.

Thanks for the insight Morpheus. I do like SIRI a lot, and from what I have been seeing on the boards, news, etc. the future looks bright. I think I may have to get in, but I have to free up some cash first. Hopefully I can still grab a decent price next week!

I been in and out since febuary...12 and .13..now its going to the moon. They just put up a new satellite to cover europe, asia, and china..The smart money will no doubt focus on what is.

sapper..i disagree...as of now from friday close..SIRI up 10%(and climbing)..CNO down 8%...but CNO does look closer to a buy once the market bias turns upward..I was long SRS and just reversed my position at 21.85 with the DOW down 185..looks to be making a reverse turn right now

I dropped SKF today and loaded up all the guns on MT and AKS. Grabbed 350 shares of MT and 395 shares of AKS. I now have 655 shares of MT and 520 shares of AKS. I go back to work on Monday and will be on first shift where I won't be able to trade anything. So, playting safe for the minute. SKF roasted my portfolio pretty good. I'm still staying away from SIRI. I hear you Morpheus and can agree to a degree but I don't have time to wait it all out anymore and have to worry about covering margin calls and what not. However, I still do own it in my other accounts. So not totally out of the picture. Would have to peak at how many shares I have total....but its less then 10,000 I do know that. I bought it when it was around $2.48. I also bought some at another price too...don't remember. But ohhh well. No margin on those accounts.

I do plan on flipping the metal stocks as they rebound. Once I get a stack of money back, then I will be able to roll the dice again.

YRCW- If you are playing quick trades, you can cash in on it, but anything even remotely long-term, you are playing with a bankruptcy candidate.

soangel..agree on the yrcw bk picture..lately.. the only interday plays I have been making are BAC SRS and LVS ..they haveplenty of action and move porportionatly to the market...bac goes up and down and has been my main early indicator to the direction of the DOW on a minute by minute tick..when it moves the market follows..check it out for yourself
