Hey ST22, had a ***** of a time this weekend getting stuff to work.
Sherri, if you're still willing, can you PM me your e-mail address?
Here's the problem that I'm running in to. There are a bunch of symbols with no recent open market purchases, so they come into my spreadsheet as empty tables. So I have a bunch of enpty tables taking up room that I would like to basically not import. Because of all these blank tables, I go onto 3 tabs in Excel, and the formulas take hours to calculate at that point, and if I find a problem, I have to recalculate it all again.
I have hopefully fixed the last issue for this run, so I should have some stocks to DD more in the morning, but they will be from Thursday nights data, but that should be somethign to start with, at least.

Look at my post above yours, I meant to quote it and add what's there now, but at first I just quoted it without the other stuff. Yeah, I should have a 1-day old list for tomorrow.

Okay, finally... Here is a new list with NYSE and NASDAQ stocks and the shares and dollars in the last 30 days. I didn't have a chance to even look at the results, so if you see something wrong just let me know. I figured I'd put out what I have and we can sort through them from here.
Specifically TRN since it's has: * a low P/E (15) compared to sector * 15% growth * Peg: 1 * 36% est growth this quarter * Good balance sheet/growing assets * Small dividend right now, but should be upgraded as company grows.
Finally energy is growing. Especially alternative. As green energy expands, it should boost business for TRN since it ships energy equipment. Energy represents 11% of this companies profits, but it grew 43% over last years. Except this to grow even more as 70% of it's business (Rails/Construction) are only growing 15%
Neary 52 wk high, but it's still undervalued. I say this goes to 60.
Also note that Jim Cramer is doing a special this entire week on how to make money from the green explosion. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the stocks he picks. It's a mid-cap with plenty of room to grow and seems to be one of the best amongst competitors.
P.S. Please do you own HW. Maybe I'm missing something and this will tank, or it could be at it's high and ready to pullback. DO YOUR OWN DD. Happy trading

Since it turned into such a production, until I hear back from a few people on making it run more efficiently, I'm only going to run it once a week. I just don't have the time right now to keep up with it every day when I'm working like 15-16 hours a day. So I'll do it on Friday evening and try to get the analysis done over the weekend to have somethign to post Monday mornings.

Basically my plan is this. Over the weekend I'll run my stuff again. If Sherri, or someone else can help me with the efficiency part of it, I'll run it more frequently if I can. Other than that, once my work deadline of Jun e4th passes, I'll probably put some real time/effort into getting it working better, but unless something changes, my plan for the next 7 weeks or so is to have a new list each Monday.

Okay, here's the list from Friday after close. I added a count of form 4s, which should help figure out if there was 1 big purchase or a lot of purchases. Although, this is the number of form 4s, and each form 4 can have many purchases, so I'd say it's more of a way to find some to look at first (ones with a lot of form 4s) as opposed to a way to eliminate certain ones (like i said, a single form 4 could have a ton of purchases on it). I also added a field that shows which market the stock is in, NYSE, NASDAQ, or OTCBB (some come up as NA, and I'm not sure why, but don't really care to figure it out right now.)

Well, I originally posted a list that was the same as last weeks, and thought my prgram screwed somethign up. Turns out I just pasted last week's data. Duh...
The list above should be the right one now. I see a couple that look worth digging into right off the bat, so hopefully this list is better than last week's.

ST22, I just looked at SCHN and it looks like one that got screwed up with my program. All recent form 4s have been sales, not buys. Not sure what happened, but I guess from here on out, the first piece of DD on a potential play is to see the actual form 4s and make sure my program worked properly.
