I want to know how Purl manages to get threads deleted where she posts incorrect stock forecasts, such as the NLST thread.... cozying up with one of the mods? Pulling a Vito on Johnny Cakes?

Hey Purl need your advice on this one. I have been holding this from when it was > 1.00 (Big mistake!!) What do I now should I just hold it or bite the bullet and sell it at 0.36 for close to 300% loses. Do you think it can drop further? Should I just forget about this one and wait it out some more

Hey Dust, here's one for you. I spent 4 years in the military right out of HS. But, I don't take what other people post to heart about the service. It's their opinion, who cares. You can dish the insults but you can't take them. Who cares what other people write, you need to move on and make some $$$. That's why we are all here. GL to you

The board has yet to receive answers on questions that could assist us all with our DD on NDOL.
Is NDOL a "pump and dump scheme" and if so then why are respected board members saying this stock has "potential"?
I post:
quote:Originally posted by Purl Gurl: Written before, there is potential with this one.
Wait a second. What material facts have changed in the past three (3) weeks to suddenly have you saying NDOL has "potential"? Cost reductions and management perception is enough to mitigate against the serious claims you made just a short while ago? I am very confused regarding your position on this stock in the wake of profound contentions you have made about NDOL, NorthWest and Parkin. Perhaps you could clear up this confusion which could assist other investors looking at this stock.
Three specific allegations you made:
1. NDOL is, in fact, a “pump and dump scheme”. What material facts have changed in the last three (3) weeks to cause your sudden change of heart? Or do you still believe this is a “pump and dump scheme”?
quote:Originally posted by Purl Gurl: I did not write this stock is a pump and dump but will do so now. […] Bottom line is management, through their written statements, have made it clear their intent is to drive share price up and this is their only concern. This confirms a pump and dump scheme.
2. NorthWest Oil Group is a "Secretive profit seeking politubro that would not be allowed to operate in the United States". What material facts have changed in the last three (3) weeks to cause this concern to seemingly by mitigated?
quote:Originally posted by Purl Gurl: This is a company which would not be allowed to exist in America.
NDOL is making some wild claims and is becoming involved with a secretive profit seeking politburo connected "company."
3. Management is dumping shares for profit and they are not “tending to business”. What material facts have changed in the last three (3) weeks that has caused you to believe management is no longer dumping shares for profit and is actually “tending to business”? Or do you still believe this company has potential even in the face of share dumping and poor management?
quote:Originally posted by Purl Gurl: NDOL quick responses to share price changes suggests to me their primary concern is just such; share price. In turn, this suggests insiders are protecting their vested interest and could be or are dumping shares for profit. Clearly they are keeping a very close eye on share prices rather than tending to business. That concerns me or would concern me if vested.

I will re-post until the board gets answers, Ghost.
I honestly believe she could help by answering her apparent flip-flop.
Hey Rich...I have a Polish Piano teacher who taught me a thing or two about vodka...and Chopin. She also has me rather proficient at Bach's 2-part and 3-part Inventions. Where were all the eastern-bloc women when I was in highschool? Multi-lingual, intelligent, and striking...
...and unlike our "liberated" women over in the U.S. - they do not sell themselves short by striving to be "equal".

Dust, thank you for your service as well. We all owe a debt of gratitude to anyone who donned the uniform regardless of their position. I am not sure belittling other people in the service bolsters the point you are trying to make with Ghost no matter how well-founded.

Tampa Investor, it would be unethical of me to suggest what you should do. I would be playing with your money.
There are some guidelines.
If your investment is a small amount of money, many would suggest simply ride this out. A small amount of money does not have much potential to earn money.
Others, if a small amount of money, would suggest to sell and move on. A small amount of money is not worth the headache and worry.
Contrasting, if a large amount of money, this becomes a hard decision.
If you can pull out a large amount of money after losses, consider if this leftover money has potential to earn money, has potential to recover your losses, or part of your losses.
Others would suggest you weigh the potential for this stock moving back up, maybe move to a price where your losses are not too bad.
My personal experience is it is usually better to simply take your losses then continue on with efforts to profit.

I have never spoken bad about wounded vetrens or anything of the sort, thank you. I served my country, and I could care less what you believed I did or did not do during that time. GL to you, what ever that may be.
PS. You still have not stated why you spend all your time on a thread you have no vested intrest in???

I understand the comments about the company supposedly using PR simply to drive up prices. But the kinds of PR they have been releasing, other than that buyout offer than ran it up big, have clearly not been geared toward maximizing gains. Unless this is some scheme to drive it back down to its original levels, I can't really agree that this is a pump and dump.
I will agree that the lack of commitment to schedules and follow-through on the part of investor relations have certainly destroyed stockholder confidence in NDOL, as well as AURC. I have free shares in Nord, and losses in AURC.
Whatever the truth is, the stock was clearly running on PR, and NOT optimistic DD. To revive, I believe it needs solid, perhaps credibly audited financials, the lowdown on NorthWest, and maybe send a half a can of pumped crude to each stockholder.
P.S. It's really tiresome to wade through the small talk to find news/opinions on NDOL here. I guess if you have nowhere else to post that stuff, I should pity you rather than get annoyed.
