You can buy by calling scottrade and placing a limit order directly over the phone at the same commission as if on the puter. I still have not found anything from my SEC searches.

I submitted an official query with scottrade for an answer. If they don't respond I'll go to the main branch. TCLL is not listed as a maintenance stock or restricted anywhere on their site. Having to call to place an order for no reason raises many questions. No justification is unsatisfactory.

I'll call scottrade in the AM. They have done this to a few of my picks and it erks me when they hamper a run. If something went out I should have been able to find it. Something as simple as a misprint of an exchange rate (which did happen before with TCLL) should not have this affect on the PPS.

Hey boo...some one posted this link in the general investing topics...anyways...it's a "phone conversation with a TD ameritrade rep..anyways...It states that if a stock has been trading strangely they sometimes "restrict it...for their safety as well as "ours"...with the high volume that hit that day that was probably all it was...

i am with ameritrade. i had a buy and got through at 0.32. seems ok though. not sure why scotttrade banned it.

very strange. in the past, scottrade has only restricted (to my knowledge and memory) garbage stocks, like CMKX, RVEM, etc.. seems strange that they'd restrict TCLL just based purely on volume. really, the volume wasn't shockingly high or anything, actually. seems like must be something else at work behind the scenes at scottrade, but - i admit that i don't understand what it is.
in any event, i admit this gives me a little bit of an uneasy feeling re: TCLL. i'm going to hold the small half-position i have left, but - have changed my mind on trying to buy any more, at least at this point.

just called Ameritrade and asked about the have-to-call-for-trade rumor. broker said everything was fine. donot know why some scotttrade experienced that. hope that is not the reason why the stock is falling. i have 10K in holding. good luck, guys.

Talked to Scottrade compliance just a minute ago. They said the reason is someone somwhere (brokerage) has fraudulently traded online. May have been specificaly with scottrade which is why they did what they did. They could not say who or what the form of fraud was. Just that it happened and this will be a buy online restriction only untill it is cleared. No formal restriction has been issued. That's all I could pry out of them.
From an e-mail I sent yest...
"Thank you for your email. We turn off trading on a particular symbol after receiving alerts. These alerts can possibly be due to fraudulent activity in the stock. As a preventative measure, we temporarily disable internet trading on that particular security. You may contact your local Scottrade branch office for assistance with placing this trade. As long as the stock is on the restricted trading list, you will only be charged the internet rate for these transactions. You may obtain the telephone number of your local Scottrade branch office through our home page in the Branch Locator - "
That's all I got. Good Luck
Some day I'll get one of these that doesn't have the BS attatched with it.

They said a Scottrade restriction (red flag) was placed on the stock most likely in regards to fraudulent short selling from a brokerage house, the stock was being illegally shorted by a brokerage in such example they did not have the stock in their inventory to be shorted ... The red flag of restriction will be lifted once the issue is settled ... There is nothing wrong with the company or the filings the problem came from a brokerage firm illegal short selling the stock in the best case scenario ...
The Scottrade restriction is on-line trading in your Scottrade account ...
You can still buy TCLL by calling your Scottrade broker
"Excellant Job Scottrade ... SEC Arrest them now"

One reason is new one day wonder investors looking for a one day million on the jump & dump ... some of them hold on to a stock like they do a woman ... it either preforms good for them in 10 minutes or they dump it .. another is the deception plays of some professional on-line investors with level II for example .. first don't believe the reading .. for example some can stack the ask or bid with 5,000 lots by placing differant orders with differant mm's on line on level II ... It can be used to stack a full run or scare investor into thinking to much resistence ... don't fully believe level II unless you have a professional trading system and can read all orders by clear exact numbers on level II ... a system like that also comes with an mm short selling listing ... statistics say most big buyers sit out watching level II looking for opportunity to buy at a calculated price ... I watched this stock go on some big runs with buyers using that approach ...
The professional trader likes the numbers & company and can see easy over $1.00 and takes advantage of the loose knit investor by buying up the dip shake outs ... the company once had .06 eps year and was trading at $2.00 ... TCLL now has .07 eps in 6mths ... don't let the day by day play of a stock fool you ... they all do it some do it better than others ... most times an mm game . they like a company they have the power to test the short sell game to shake you and get your shares ... its looking like Scotttrade caught a broker illegally fraud short selling stock when it went on the run to .38 ... it should be cleared up soon and maybe we will see a short tight squeese anyday to cover the short position ... anyone who owns the stock should move their sell point to at least .50 for at least a week to see if they can catch a short squeese move ... odds are in favor better than being shaken out with numbers for a $2.50 pps stock ... Now in ten trading days the average price investors bought the stock and own it is .34 pps .. thats the base to move into profit for majority of investors anything under that is gravy ...
Its all an old fashion game to the big money ....
You like a company and they have super figures and a bright future you believe in you buy it & feel secure & someday you wake up and your up $100,000 or $500,000
One day wonders don't go after the big bucks, usually they have to deal with small change ...
If you like the company and the numbers buy the stock ... feel secure & hold on for the ride ... don't worry about the nervous nelly and one day wonders ...

Still holding 16,000 shares at .235. I am looking to hold this long. After holding this for 3 months now I am confident that this will continue to rise. I also think this stock would be great to play the ups and downs while it is on it's slow and gradual way up. I may play 8000 shares buying and selling while holding an original 8000 shares. I keep thinking that this stock is a prime candidate for a reverse split to a larger exchange.

Watch out guys. Tricell, just broke through the resistance level at 28 cents. 0.265 as we speak. My guess is it will go down before it goes up.
