This run won't hold.. .not until the 8-K info. and/or the case is dismissed will we go into the $2's and beyond... when it dips middle of next week, buy all that you can.

normaly I am a day trader, but this stock is without a doubt an investment. I tried flipping it back when it was .59 and got burned. Maybe these guys will learn the same lesson and just hold on for the ride.

Well, in all fairness, you could have made a fortune flipping from $1 to over $2, back down to $1.20 to $1.70, back down to $1.30 now up to $1.75.
It will continue to trade this way, taking higher legs, until settlement news. Settlement news took this stock out of the double digits.... more settlement news will put this in the $2s permanently.

9:23AM Patriot Scientific notes stay in Calif. court judgment (PTSC) 1.495 : Patriot Scientific (PTSC) says the U.S. District Court of Northern California has stayed the declaratory judgment actions recently filed in that court against PTSC and the T.P.L. Group, a co that jointly owns chip patents w/ PTSC, by major Japanese hardware manufacturers including Matsu****a, Panasonic, J.V.C., Toshiba, and some N.E.C. entities. Further proceedings in the California actions were stayed pending outcome of T.P.L.'s earlier-filed action against those same companies in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. Co says the ruling clears the way for the Texas court, which it says is known for fast patent rulings, to take the lead in judging TPL's broad-based I.P claims. Co also says the Calif. court ruling halts procedural maneuvering by the manufacturers. PTSC notes that Fujitsu entities, which were also defendants in the Texas action, have recently purchased a PTSC license and have been dismissed from the Texas and California actions. Co also notes that Intel and AMD purchased PTSC licenses last year, and that since the start of 2006, Hewlett-Packard, Casio Computer and Fujitsu have purchased PTSC system licenses. http://finance.yahoo.com/mp#ptsc

Well, this was to be expected today w/out new news. But, we should see the quarterly results very soon, my guess last week was we would see them sometime this week. That is only a speculation, the company did not return my email regarding the subject. I am currently trying to allocate funds to up my position in PTSC, after all we have only 5 confirmed license agreements and over 145 to go. The last PR PTSC released is a good indication of what this company has to gain. If the court rules in favor of PTSC, which all indications point to, we should see a large number of agreements signed immediately, as companies listed in the lawsuit try to avoid further legal representation costs. The next point of interest all of us holding long can smile about is the cash dividends we all have coming our way. The first dividend of .02 and the next of .04 will net all of us holding some nice chump change, just for holding in my opinion, an incredibly undervalued stock. GL to all those long and short

Pleeeeeeeeease drop to 1.40 so I can buy 20K shares... I have dry powder finally!
And I don't think we will see 145 settlements... a lot of the other companies in the 145 are subsidiaries of bigger companies, therefore, we may only have a dozen or so big settlements.

1.40 is my magic number too, 20k shares would bring you a nice return by EOY. I hope to up my boat to 15k shares if we drop to the magic number. Maybe stockvaper will give us some charitable donations:) Thanks for the refresher on the settlements, I assumed they would not bring subsidaries of bigger companies into the suit, because the parent company would be ultimatly responsible anyway. Oh well, still a lot of $ coming to PTSC, especially from the companies who fight the court battle all the way.

Nope. We have 2 big PR's on the horizon. One is the 8-K from the Casio / Fuji settlements. The other, more long term, is the court case in Texas.
A third could be other companies settling but that probably won't happen until after the TX case.
