-------------------------------------------- Ya might think about cost averaging down a bit..
But as you should know, one of the disiplines of swing trading is not to do that...It can be to damn dangerous...
But, this is GTE and it has a history of being "a rule breaker".

take this for what its worth.. My friend (deepockets) just was told by his broker(tdwaterhouse)(today) that a lot of money was flowing into GTE again. This same scenerio happened last time just before the run. The russians are supposed to pony up their first payment of 300 million in about a week,if i recall. this could be the reason? Just some food for thought....

Look for this stock to do one of the following things in the next 2-3 days.
1) Soar to over $5.00+ on news of Russian deal completion.
2) Tank to $1.25 or lower on news of failed or further delayed Russian deal.

Your are right on. Did GTE ever come out with their quarterly financial report for the last quarter of 2005?

Not yet, we are still waiting on that as well. I don't even think they have given an ETA on it. Regardless, unless it shows the 300 million everyone is waiting for, this thing is going nowhere.

It won't look good if there is no news out today. If the 300 milion Russian payment was in the works you would have thought it would have been reported. The 30 day delay is closing out here. Kinda quiet as far as volume goes. May be the calm before the storm.

Direct TV (DTV) lost $1.9 Billion in 2004 on Revenues of $11.3 Billion
The DTV Market Capitalization = est. $22 Billion (2004)
ONE RUSSIAN DEAL The Future GlobeTel/Russian deal projects an estimated $2 billion annual revenue stream, with profits estimated over $850 Million.
GlobeTel would have revenues of 17.7 percent of what DTV made in 2004. 2 / 11.3 = 17.7%
GlobeTel would have an estimated yearly PROFIT of $850 Million, which is over THREE TIMES more profit from DTV in 2004!!!
If DTV was at $22 Billion market capitalization in 2004, after losing $1.9 Billion! How much would GlobeTel's market capitalization be if they're earning $850 Million profit?????
GTE's Current Market Capitalization = $256 Million Direct TV's 2004 Market Capitalization = $22 Billion $22 Billion X 17.7% = $997 Million Market Capitalization (MC)
$997 Million MC / 81 Million shares = $12.31 Per Share
When you add to the fact that GTE will be making a profit of over $800 million and DTV was losing $1.9 Billion, GTE's price would easily jump beyond $20 dollars just based on ONE RUSSIAN DEAL.
I expect even more lucrative ventures to other third world countries around the world, because GlobeTel won't have to share the profits in many other countries. I look for GlobeTel to build infrastructure in Mexico next year which eventually could generate $3 billion in revenue/$1.3 billion profit by 2009. A venture like Mexico could sky rocket the price beyond $100 dollars per share.
I also want to emphasize that these projections have nothing to do with the other areas of the company, or the STRATellite. When you add the rest of it up, GlobeTel could be the next Microsoft in the Telecommunications industry.
The entire world has shifted to globalization, and the only thing holding it back is communications. Once the technology is there, the winner will explode with profits.

Not only did it retrace quickly back to where it started, what are the chances it may even loose some more ground this afternoon. Just think where we would be if that PR hadn't come out.
