There is more to it than that George...
Big board stocks don't consistantly trade like this all on there own..

I'm telling ya, these traders are way out of most of our leagues.

Last trade shows $3.45 and the bid was 3.45 with an ask of $3.41

WARNING!!!!!

I believe there is no such company as Internafta(The Russian company that Globetel is involved with).

I cannot find any info at all about them on any search engine, maybe someone here can. All links seem to originate with the same January PR.

As many on this board know...I know a Big Shot in Hawaii, who was a Wall Street big timer...

He has said things to me about GTEL, but nothin since it became GTE.

He might let me know, if there was a huge problem, I think. But then again he is retired now and might not give a chit.

We are fishing friends, and he very seldom will talk biz to me.

I might bug him if this thing doesn't clear up and fast.

Today's company sponsored PR didn't show up on yahoo or etrade. What about Ameritrade, Choicetrade, etc?

All I'm saying is that I cannot find any information about a company called "Internafta" anywhere.

Go ahead and Google it, Yahoo it, MSN it, use any search engine you want.(Maybe someone has access to Nexis/Lexis, I don't)

All you'll find are references to the same January PR.

It reminds me of looking for evidence of Frank Olsen's previous TV networks that he "started up and sold for a profit" and coming up with that same college presentation biography.

I honestly wish someone would prove me wrong here as I kinda like this company and I did hold stock thru the reverse split/ exchange change. I currently do not.

Take a look at this link, this is what first got me a little suspicious.

http://www.fool.com/news/commentary/2006/commentary06010611.htm

Just my two cents here.

GlobeTel Communications Corp. Responds to Article by Motley Fool's Seth Jayson

By BusinessWire
Last Update: 1/27/2006 4:27:01 PM Data provided by

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan 27, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- In accordance with the obligations placed on all Amex-listed companies under Rule 401(c) of the Rules of the American Stock Exchange, GlobeTel Communications Corp. (GTE) would like to state in the strongest terms that the statements and implications made by Mr. Seth Jayson in his Motley Fool article dated January 23rd, 2006, are entirely without substance and are misleading. The Company rejects his attempts at guilt by association regarding persons and actions that predate any GlobeTel involvement with Advantage Telecom. GlobeTel believes his misleading statements result in damaging implications that have the potential to seriously damage both shareholder value and the ability of GTE management to effectively conduct the Company's business.

About GlobeTel Communications Corp.:

GlobeTel Communications Corp. is a diversified Telecommunications and Financial Services company. GlobeTel operates business units in the following areas: (i) stored value debit cards as a certified financial transactions processor (ii) carrier-grade VoIP long distance sales to major long-distance re-sellers (iii) VoIP technology (iv) wireless digital technology and development and (v) high-altitude airship research, development and deployment. These self-contained business units have been specifically developed to operate independently of each other. Their symbiotic relationships, however, provide value to each of the other business units. This strategy offers GlobeTel both financial diversity and risk mitigation while creating a platform for achieving its unique commercial and social objectives.

Operating on a global basis, GlobeTel has historically focused its business development efforts on markets outside of the United States. Current operations and high level business relationships exist in Asia, Europe, South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The PR below states that Internafta,LLC is a private entity that was established by the Russian investors for the explicit purpose of the transaction with Globetel Wireless.

GlobeTel Cites Details of Russian Wireless Agreement
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2006--GlobeTel's (AMEX:GTE) entry into the Russian communications market is the culmination of more than a year of meetings with Russian investors, members of the Russian Parliament and leaders of the Russian technology sector. The successful results of those discussions and final negotiations were released by GlobeTel to its shareholders and to the public on December 30, 2005. In order to further clarify the nature of the transaction, GlobeTel Communications Corp. today has provided below the following additional information about the transaction. The full contract may be viewed as part of the company's 8-K filing with the SEC on January 6, 2006.

Q. Who are the counterparties to the Russian Agreement?

A. GlobeTel Wireless, GlobeTel's wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered
into a binding contract with LLC Internafta ("Internafta"). Internafta
is a private Russian special purpose corporation formed by a group of
wealthy Russian investors (the "Investors" or "Internafta") for the
specific purpose of deploying GlobeTel's proprietary wireless
communications systems throughout the Russian Federation.

Oh Ok, so there was no such company called Internafta until it was formed for this deal with Globetel.

That explains why the is little or no information available.

Thanks.

By the way, not to be picky but, that statement issued by Globetel about the MF article was a response to the Jan. 23 article, not the Jan. 7 article which I posted the link to.

They never did respond to that article.

Looks like a little profit taking kicked in today - but not as much as I had thought there would be. Holding up fairly nicely given the huge runnup yesterday.

That link is not Internafta's web page, it's simply a company info
lookup page.

This is what that Russian page translates to:

Company "Inter- naphtha achieves wholesale and retail trade in the petroleum products through the network AZS.Postoyano it buys bright it nefteprodukty..internafta.ukrbiz.net

Thanks again for the solid DD!
