Actually Edster, the 50% discount from AMEX debut was one of the reasons I decided to pick up a new swing position today. Back on July 12 we dropped to 1.85, went up to 2.56 HOD and closed @ 2.48. and there have been many other opportunities as well. There is a tremendous amount of money to be made on these swings. GTE has been allowing for great swing plays even though the PPS has been in decline.
And your right about the a successful flight test not taking us back to previous levels, GTE will blow through those levels like a fart in a hurricane with a successful flight test IMO.

Still pushing to finish below 1.6 for today - just as I predicted. Sometime this has got to level out and make a strong comeback.

Edster when I watched it hit 1.60 I thought of your post. Also thinking of Pagan's post:
"There is a tremendous amount of money to be made on these swings. GTE has been allowing for great swing plays even though the PPS has been in decline."
I picked up another block @ 1.62 for that very purpose.

ive been in this stock ever since the first shareholder meeting where they unveiled sanswire 1 (just the frame)
ive lost 50% on it so far, but the potential for this company is just insane. IF they can get the stratellite up and functioning, this stock would make you a millionare or close to it. And the possiblility of it all working is very feasable. The technology is all in place. I would be buying more at this bargain price, but all my funds are tied up.

Trippy, I got in at below .10 rode it to .31. Bought back in at .20 and rode it to .29. Bought back again at .19 and sold everything again right before the RS. All good moves.
After the split I waited for things to cool off and didn't get back in till $2.02.
GTEL = GTE Has Been Good To Me.
Long term this looks like an outstanding company, but like Pagan states it has short term swings the really make of lots of $$$$$ and I haven't been doing that since the split.
When Strat 2 takes off THIS STOCK WILL GO OUT OF SIGHT. SO WATCH IT ALL THE TIME AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO VERY VERY WELL.

I picked up so more today as well. I picked up some yesterday and was a little surprised at today's drop, so I just had to add a bit more to my swing position today. May drop a little tomorrow, hard to say after today's action. But at the very minimum I forsee at least a small uptrend beginning tomorrow or early next week building up to the Shareholders meeting after hours on Thursday night. So next Friday could be quite volatile depending on what news and numbers come out of the Shareholders meeting. This drop before the SHM is perfect opportunity to take a position before next weeks volatility IMO.
Btw, excellent plays Crusader. Congrats!! Nice to see others taking advantage of the swings

Last three days ----> steadily increasing volume with steadily decreasing PPS. Not a good prospect for today PPS action. Will depend a little on the opening price. If it opens at less thasn 1.60 - we may be in for another loss but probably not as big as yesterday's.

1.90? It should be able to breeze past that. This stock is worth alot more than that.

I believe today will set the trend for next week leading up to the Shareholders meeting on Thursday. I'm sure Huff has saved some sort of substantial news for the Shareholdrs Meeting. Look for next Friday to be highly volatile. 2Q numbers are also due this week I believe. Could see the uptrend continue up until the meeting next week, but even sideways from here until the meeting is a possibility leading into Friday's likely volatility.
