Investor,
Where is this info at: "The numbers didn't match up, and the moved to a guy that may move some debit over to assets."?
Are you just assuming this? You know what Assuming does? Sorry to hear that you will be exiting this stock, but you have the right to move on, without any pressure from any of us, at least so I think...
I hope that you made what you wanted to make on this? Cause this is going to DA MOOOOOON! Just kidding, I love seeing those posts

Just so you really know where I stand with this. I have been here since LFWK days, in big at .02.
I would love nothing more than to see this go to the NASDAQ and everyone here profit immensely.
The problem is, there have been many holes & contradictions along the way to where we are today.
In my search for company confirmations, I hoped to uncover nothing but good, assuring positive news, unfortunately, while searching, I discovered many odd, conflicting things, too much to get into tonight.
But, rest assured, I am not a basher, I am a stockholder wanting to feel confident with my position in this company.

Maybe that's my luck or late entrance into this. I got into this after the merger, and do not know the history of the bad stuff with LFWK, from back in the past, besides what I have read from others posting the info about it.
The funny thing is, I live in Metro Detroit, and have seen the work that Loft did in Downtown Detroit, which looked good. And with Windsor right on the other side of the border from me, I should go over to their "corporate" offices and get my own info. If I was in this with more money, I may have.
Maybe it's my love with a hometown company that may make me some money down the road, is why I feel this company will do good. But with personal feelings aside, I think they have done "ok" with what they have said, xcept for the PR from 2 weeks ago, which they wanted to bring out the AF's; they seem to have kept their word, with no blatant lies.
Or so it seems

The part about moving the assets was a joke, thus the LoL. That’s what Bernard Ebbers did. I thought everyone would've gotten that. Good luck to all.

There has always been controversy since the LFWK days & I've always hung in here, just hoping for the chance to be where we are today, going where they say we are going, and then the thought of staying loyal all this time just to be possibly betrayed now somewhat troubles me.
We shall see very shortly and then we'll take it from there.
BTW,...I too like seeing 'TO DA MOON'!!!! Nothings better than when IMAKE says it.
He has that sarcastic flair. LOL
Let's just keep our fingers crossed that it goes that way.
But, stay alert, keep a close eye on what's going up or down here, and we''ll all know how to execute our next move.

Agreed, I saw the lol, but I just didn't want others who may read our ramblings to think that is "gospel" and is what is going on with this company.
Just wanted to clarify, thanks for that.

keep in mind, this is no longer LFWK, and there are ALL NEW players in this game .
This isn't local anymore. They are all NEW to us .

Hehe, but ya SLJB is still local for me, I am 60 Miles away from their offices, with Windsor just South of Detroit. The only Canadian city that is South of an American city.
Just means they are in another country... and ohh does crossing the border suck nowadays, after 9/11, which is also another reason why I have not made the treck over to their offices to see for myself what this company really looks like up close.

I saw that too, as it was the first hit in my Google search. But right under that was all the links, with many more, of the Big 5.

thank you wit, for your sanity. Petar may not have any left but IMO ... wait..IMO.. would indicate sanity ... no opinions.... just da facts. Remeber... I have to get a paint job for my plymoth relient before winter!
Since I'm the only one still awake here... anyone ever grow mushrooms? Me either... but when they start (like 1 piece of paper with a zillion figures on it) they multiply as they decipher the info. audits take time.

Correction. There WAS a big 5. Authur Anderson was the 5th; however, they got disbanded due to the Enron fiasco. They broke them up and sold them to the other 4 firms. Maybe SLJB is using one of the arthur anderson wings sold to KPMG hahahaahaha

you can disregard the link http://www.parsguide.com/alpha-S-6.html having anything to do with Sam Building in Canada, I can't find anything connecting the 2. And if everyone calls Sam on Monday/Tuesday there goes the neighborhood. We'll all get yelled at again. No web site found for Sam Building Supplies by me. Some forums are thinking there is a link to overseas. IMO Sam is just a small business still relatively new. And if they do answer as Sulja then this plot just gets better every day.

Isn't anyone even the slightest bit curious about this portion of the statement ?
I mean these guys must really think we're some dumb stockholders .
CEO Statement: SLJB
From Petar Vucicevich; CEO of Sulja Bros. Building Supplies, Ltd. 10-06-2006
(PARAGRAPH FROM YESTERDAY'S STATEMENT)
That said, I am happy to announce another acquisition to SLJB. We have finalized the transaction which has brought SAM Building Materials, Ltd. to SLJB . SAM is headquartered in Windsor, ON, Canada and has been in business for more than six years. They have already garnered more than 10% of the regional market share of drywall supply in the area. While drywall represents the Company's largest sector of the building supply industry in and around Windsor, SAM does in fact offer a full line of insulation, steel stud wall systems, acoustical ceilings, and other materials that qualify it as a Full-Service GSD supply house. SAM immediately infuses $6M to the SLJB bottom-line . We are pleased to have them on board as we progress to our ultimate goal of becoming an internationally recognized leader and essential vendor for projects worldwide .
1.)We have finalized the transaction which has brought SAM Building Materials, Ltd. to SLJB
I CALLED THE SAM PHONE NUMBER, THEY ARE SLJB!! The after hours recording answered "Sulja Brothers Builders"!! Press 1 for Steve!!!
(Why is Petar trying to make it sound unrelated to them like some new contract?)
2.)SAM immediately infuses $6M to the SLJB bottom-line.
How is it that the same company can do that? And, why did he leave out that SAM was indeed Sulja brothers? He completely played it off and left that out .
3.)We are pleased to have them on board as we progress to our ultimate goal of becoming an internationally recognized leader and essential vendor for projects worldwide .
Pleased to have them on board??? Who Petar? Yourselves??? What's with the games here & pretending ?
