It's the NFL.

Almost to a man, each player has been a star, at some time in his career.

You never know who's gonna jump up and knock the smug offa your azz.

Focus is the name of the game...

Next week, and the next, should see some interesting lines.

Da Boys are getting pummeled Tex. I almost, but not quite, feel sorry for them. I just have an aversion to Jerry Jones. The guy exudes slime to me.

Jerry bugs a lot of folks, but he *does* hit the hip to get good players. In that sense, he's an OK owner. But I've never so much talent do so little.

i dunno, Tex, i've seen a few teams with "superstars" that ruin the team.

the 'skins new owner thought he could buy a team....

it didn't work.

That's not an issue in Dallas--at least, not yet.

They'd have to be better for one thing; for another, we don't really have any superstars. Romo and TO have some nice numbers, but they'd have to achieve more to be "super" stars...

Apparently, dallas could take lessons from Bellicheater's Pats--they've shut down the Broncos tonight and seem to be in an upswing, as opposed to the melt-down crisis at Valley Ranch.

Just remember the Pats suffered horribly at the hands of the Fish while learning how to live without Brady. Luckily the Boys don't need to take it that far. Bradley just has to get to the bye. He might be able to take the Buc's but the Giants are a lost cause already.

Anyone watching the Jets and Chiefs? The Chiefs are actually playing well for once and giving the Jets and ol Brett a run for the money.

Those Jets cheerleaders sure are sexy!

Oh yeah.

It's a good game. Much better than the Dallas/TB game.

I'm surprised that the Jets haven't been running more than they are. It's working, but I thought it was a rule...when you play against the Chiefs you run 'em into the ground.

gosh...I thought the Dallas/TB game was purdy good.

No turnovers, Roy Wiliams makes a nice TD catch--and the defense woke up.

i dunno Tex, the only reason Williams got to make that catch was alot of penalties by TB...

a win is a win tho... good day for the NFC E tho...

i can't beleive the Steelers gave that game away...

yeah, well, maybe it's time for some boneheadness on the *other* team's part, for a change. But, ya, I was well aware of the TB penalties. Still, I'm happy to see Odessa, TX Roy Williams getting his first TD as a Cowboy--the timing was pretty good, even though it *was* a size mismatch.

Steelers? Still not sure how that slipped away... toughly fought game, though.

Sounds like the Skins did what they were supposed to do & I guess Philly won ??? didn't follow

yep, philly won too...

next week the DaBoyz better bring their A-game...

should be a good defensive show...

this is one game i'll be rooting for them...

any chance Romo will be back early?

so, it was a good day for the NFC East...

defensive show? To tell the truth, I don't think the Boyz have an A-game at this point. B+...maybe.

Romo? doubt it, muchly. Reasoning is 5-4 doesn't kill us for a Wild Card berth (and we may now have tie-breaker with Tampa Bay) but w/o Romo on the back side...well, we may as well start looking to '09. Pretty grim, here, with all the injuries.

They still might have a shot at the playoffs this year via wildcard. But if they get manhandled by the G-men, the chances of a playoff run are dim IMO.

Jets D is rockin'.

1 pick + 1 fumble recovery, both leading to scores.

Now if only the offense could get going.

Still liking Dallas without Romo Tex? Bollingers first pass intercepted after a half of no production from Johnson. Yuck!

Giving credit where credit is due the front line hasn't been able to protect like usual today but still!

Did anyone watch the Dolphins v Broncos? The Dolphin D absolutely owned the Broncs. They had like 10 yards rushing the entire game. Da Phish will be contenders next year IMO. Especially with the Patriots and Colts declining.

PS: if Da Phish keep up this pace, they should be wild card contender's this year.

I don't "like" Dallas at all, in the sense of pulling anything out of the fire. They were bad with Romo, and they're still bad. No O-line, obviously, but more than that...no fire, no drive, no passion. Jenkins' passing up a shot on a TD-saving tackle says it all...

Flozell Adams is done. Jenkins should've been sent to the showers after the play I mentioned. It's a complete and utter meltdown.

I completely agree. He should face disciplinary action too! Seemed like nearly the entire team had decided they were gonna lose this one before the game even started.
