Willie Parker is out, Ray Lewis is in. Though the injury list is longer for Baltimore, Pittsburgh's is more key. Ravens had basically a bye week and a game to get back in rhythm. Anything can happen with division rivals, just ask Dallas.
Upset special on the road... I say----------------------Ravens 27, Steelers 23

What? Tex...are you feeling alright? Yes, Romo is sloppy but he's the reason the boys are where they are.
You ask me the reason the last two games have been sucky is cause Barber hasn't been able to break loose. When Barber is moving the chains everything clicks.

Big, Romo's OK...but he's not the worldbeater he seemed to be when he took over from Bledsoe. Too many sloppy mistakes.
Mach, It seems safe to say TO must have some sort of disorder. He plays hard and hustles, though...hardly the ticking time-bomb he's made out to be in some quarters.
Romo is ranked #4 right now under Farve, Rivers, and Warner for 2008. All three have 4 interceptions where Romo has 5. The only one beating him in TD's is Farve (thanks to his 6 TD game)
Another couple games and he will pass Warner and Rivers. Warner is over him because of completion percentage of 69.4 (vs 64.2). Rivers is over him because of yards per pass average of 8.6 (vs 8.4).
I agree that the shine of Romo has tarnished a bit but he is still legitimately the #2 QB in the league (maybe #3 if we add Brady to the equation).

Big, Who do you consider the #1 QB currently?

Depends on what your standards are but just talking 2008 I'd agree with nfl.com and say Farve has performed the best so far this year. Romo, Brees, and little Manning are the number 2 contenders in my book.
Oops! Brees...why wasn't he in the nfl stats?
Yup...Brees is also ahead of Romo statistically right now. 4 Int, 72.3 completion avg., 9.1 yard avg., 8 TD's.

Big, Stats aren't everything though IMO. It just seems like some QB's have a nose for the game and can win. Even with bad stats.

Cutler has been great this year but that game against KC? 2 INT, 1 Fumble, and a 59.2 pass completion? Against KC? He'll end on the upper third of the board but not at the top.
Skins have been looking sharp after that first game and I'll admit that the Skins could take the division away from both the Boys and the Giants, but Campbell just doesn't have the air game to be called best QB. He's already 6 TD's behind the league leader.

-Yeah, but with KC it was a game against big division rival, and it was on the road. He still should of played a better game than he did. Broncos should be 5-0 right now.
...Never thought I'd say it, but Kerry Collins has to be on the list. The only QB that's 5-0.

Good thing Arizona is crapping out on the same level. After that kick off return TD that is.

ESPN says Romo is out 4 weeks with a broken pinkie on his throwing hand. That means Brad Johnson is now the starter. Maybe the change will light a fire?

I just saw this. I know Brad Johnson (not literally) as he came from MN and he is no Romo.
Tex, you are about to see what the Boys are like without Romo at the helm. Not gonna be pretty.

Exactly! He took a helluva beating in that game.

The Cowboy O-line was horrible, including a certain Flozell Somebody. Romo is not the living legend he seemed at first--but then, it ain't gonna matter: half the team is hurt, now...
If I'm Jerry, I write off '08, fire the special teams coach and whoever's got Romo thinking he's got to play like "a real quarterback." He was doing fine with his lil sandlot style, and he's not gonna last that long, anyway. Now he's ruin't... I expect Brad to at least protect the dang ball.
