OK R1 man, this guy may very well have some unique more efficient way of splitting water...

couple of points:
he says he goes 100 miles on 4 OZ of water? he MUST be recycling the water over and over again...

cuz Hydrogen doesn't have that many BTU's...

thing is? you still have to use electricity to split the water...

notice he is using hybrid technology not JUST water...

my guess is he using the batteries to split the water, and the gasoline or deisel to recharge teh batteries...

he's a good salesman...

as for the hydrogen torch? that's also a neat trick, but glass torch workers ( as opposed to furnace workers) have had the option of using hydrogen mixes for several years.. however? i have never seen a commercially available hydrogen only torch cuz they aren't hot enough...

heat transfer is pretty interesting. that's the curious thing about his torch. for instance ? propane transfers heat alot better than natural gas... i have always chosen propane over natural gas when i could.

this current runup is a reverse action compared to the runups of the last five years...

every runup i watched since '04 has been driven by a rising gasoline price..

this time gasoline is lagging....

i think the underlying reason is the weakening dollar, the risk factors are making the price rise a little faster than i expected...
electricity is droppping...

ELECTRICITY ($/megawatt hour)
PRICE* CHANGE % CHANGE TIME

Palo Verde, firm on-peak, spot 52.39 -6.44 -10.95 11/02

Hey, ever wonder if people can buy the commodities and trade them? What if we could trade gasoline week to week? Not a company that sells gas....but the actual price.

Maybe I'm asking the lazy way...but I watch them in the paper all the time and never investigated them.
