i live on fort carson which is in colorado springs. we are right next to pikes peak (over 14,000 feet) and cheyenne mountain which is where norad (nuclear command center) is
however some of you might not know...they are moving NORAD out of cheyenne mountain and to a local air force base, and RUMOR has it...that area 51 is moving into cheyenne mountain. soon the belgians will be saying cheyenne mountain is the new CMKX office

i don't like the 30 round detachable mags on the SKS... practice with a stripper on the standard "box" magazine and i bet you will get better results long-term

jeez glass, seems your well versed in everything.. money,politics,glass,guns... i do get alot of misfires but i think its the cheap russian ammo. i picked it up from a friend for cheap with the 30 round already modded to fit. i'd prefer an AK but this'll do. heres my newest toy.. got it for free from work for being a good boy..

CCM, i've never seen a dragunov ( on the sandbags) where the buttstock wasn't connected to the pistol grip before...
interesting fact: the AK is the most "popular" small-arm in the world, and the inventor, Kalashnikov, never got a dime for inventing it... ain't communism great?

i plink with Volquartsen upgrades on a Ruger 10-22..
i love my Thompson Center contender system... IMO? there's no higher quality machinist work in a mass-produced weapon... i've never found a single "swap out" part that didn't fit perfectly... if you've never shot a high-power rifle load in a pistol? i recomend trying it at least once....
a lot of people don't care for single shot systems, but my motto is make every shot count
