THIS IS SOME FUNNY SH!T!!!

I don't agree with this 100% because I like air conditioning on a hot day but otherwise, most of the following is quite TRUE. Read on.....

10 REASONS WHY GAY MARRIAGE IS WRONG

01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

You obviously don't understand humor, DWE. The above list is in favor of gay marriage.

Gay marriage will devastate many people who live in Washington state where I live.

It wont hurt people in the seattle area and west side of the state as much, but the eastern part of the state has many people that just wont understand many things about gay marriage.

For instance, how their marriage certificate could be filed in the same cabinet with a gay couples. Or that the gay couple may have a joint bank account at the same banking institution as them. A gay couple filing a joint tax return may also cause a severe emotional stressor on many of the more sensitive residents of this state. And can you just imagine their reaction when the see a title to a vehicle that would have two women or two men listed as the legal owners, that would be a huge blow. Our society is not ready for the many hardships that gay marrige will cause to the other straight people., It could possibly cause global conflict, that could jeapordize the suvival of the human race, the sun may burn out and our galaxy might colide with another, the entire universe may dissapear. We already know about how lesbians and gays muffin munch and poke in the butt, but allowing them to file a marrige certificate at the county court house is just too much and cannot be tollerated.

Thank god we have a justice system in this country that allows us to take our grievances to court. Those that are harmed by gay marriage should sue for full damages.

Studies have shown that homophobic bigots who rant the loudest are those who are themselves harboring feelings of homosexuality -- and doing their best to deny it.

You can't honestly believe that most of that is true... Did you read it? Are you kidding me?

DWE, you have to be joking... I'm still sticking to my theory that you are kidding about these fundamentalist Christian rants... that you just find the rational reactions people have to your irrational statements to be funny...

Either that, or you are just an idiot... Are there a lot of Anti-DW Enterprises websites out there??

Oh, but, your partner took over now, right? Did you try to pass a proposal to provide Bibles with every transaction?

Pleasantville?

I'm also assuming I'd be locked up for cursing in public. So I better remove "dog-gone", "dang", "God" and others from my vocabulary.

And, I also am going to guess that people would look at me funny when I say "DVD"? or High-Def? or even CD? MP3 maybe? Internet? Integration? New Jersey?

"New Testament" Romans 1:24 to 32 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

venereal diseases are the wrath of God Kate?

AIDS is being beaten, slowly but surely.... is finding the cure to AIDS Gods work or the Devils work?

Kate, You might enjoy a visit to

The Westboro Baptist Church FAQ Page

In which they reveal their answers to the following questions (and more)!

I imagine there's a special wing of Hell reserved for these people.

*******

Doesn't the Bible say that God loves everyone?

Why do you say "Thank God For September 11?"

Why do you preach hate?

If God hates homosexuals as a group, why do you sometimes aim signs at individual people, not at the group? How can you say that an individual is in hell?

Do you ever pray for the salvation of those who you feel are condemned?

Why don't you leave it up to God and stop wasting your time telling people that they are wrong?

What would you do if a homosexual attended your church?

How do you feel about people who confess and realize their sins?

Do you feel that gays and lesbians should be allowed to teach if they do not bring their sexual tendencies into the classroom?

Are you associated with a militia, Aryan Nation, Nazi, KKK, or any other similar group?

Why do you use the word "fag"?

What do you think of Jews?

Do you follow ALL of the laws in the Mosaic Code, or do you just pick and choose those that denounce homosexuals, while ignoring the others?

How can you call yourself a Christian?

Are you a sinner? If so, does this mean you will burn in hell, or are you better than these people?

What are your views on abortion?

What about lesbians?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Why are you so harsh?

Doesn't the Bible say to love your neighbor?

What do you think of the Religious Right?

What do you think about the Tsunami that hit Asia on December 26, 2004? Was it God's wrath? What about the children who were killed?

Why do you picket soldiers' funerals?

I cannot speak knowledgably on the subject of gay marriage, since I have never been in one, however, I suspect, that like all other kinds of marriage, some aren't worth sh-t and others seem sent by God.

Mostly, it ain't none of my damned fool business (or concern)what people do that doesn't interfere with what I do!

grant you, "civil union" is a bit stuffy...

but "marriage" I'd like to see remain opposite-sex

of course, I think "gay" is an abomination...of the language--as is "straight"

"Straight" to me connotes "rigid," unless coupled with "up," in which case, the "straight-up" person neither pulls punches, nor tries to con... ("rigid" philosophically, lol--don't go there..)

"Gay" tries to hide...more closet-ness: "We're *happier* than you...[straights]"

Nothing wrong with "queer" or "homo," to me--why is that a perjorative?

I *like* this language:

"Whose woods these are, I think I know..."

"Don we now our gay apparel..."

*Everyone* should be able to enjoy life...when homosexuals no longer feel the need to hide in [straight] marriages, the world will be a better place.

My rant for the day

[Cool]

And a good'n, Tex!

Personally, I prefer fruits as a name for homos 'cause when my little horse thinks it "queer", he means it's odd, not wrong.

Sexual morays are, at best, fleeting whims. Our fathers think what we do is sinful and our daughters know we are crude and ill educated.

And I really like reading Faulkner.....

I still have to go with "Barn Burning", which I think of as the first of 4 yarns, the other three often being called the "Trilogy".
