Going to the Milwaukee boat show on Saturday to check them out. Not looking for anything huge, 16 - 17' or so with about a 100 horse motor. Inland lake fishing only on smaller lakes around here with a trip or two to Canada a year to fish Rainy and Lake of the Woods. I've been looking at a Nitro or a Ranger but don't really know too much about them. I'd like to keep the price between 15 and 20,000. It would pretty much just be for my wife and me so I wouldn't need a lot of room. Any recommendations?

Don't have a reccomendation, but remember, a "good" bass boat is one from which you catch many big bass. That's a function more of location than floatation.
