I really like the similarities between this run and last one. That means we could continue the run. But a RSI of 74 and Fast stoch moving down does bother me. On the other hand the EMA 50 was crossed today which is a very good sign and MACD is still moving up. DMI shows a very clear uptrend. I guess we will see tomorrow. Lets flip a coin, heads I win tales I win.

You are right Ric, Tomorrow is a toss up. 4 candles up is sweet but, makes me think...how high can it go before a retrace. Not at all concerned though.
I KNOW IT WILL BE BACK UP BIG TIME BEFORE THE END OF THE WEEK!
Again, I think we see a little retrace tomorrow and perhaps wed as well... a bit of a rest before the big run but Hey, I've been wrong before.

Yea its old unless you're talking about the update they have on their front page about now being available on C-Band Intelsat 13 (120 degrees west) on Transponder 18. Whatever that means.

1BigTip, I'm sure you mean it'll be much higher than .01. Perhaps the newbie should know thats what you meant.

A lot of you are mentioning the similarities between this run and the one in April. So instead of waiting for the $1 to sell should we begin to look to get out around .05 and buy back in after profit taking? With an actual product being televised I would hope history doesn't repeat itself entirely. Matt

As I said, those that are making huge profits, that bought at .0029 or below, that sell at .03 or .05 only to buy back on retrace need to remember once you sell it is a short term capital gain and 35% taxes on a huge profit margin. You need to figure is that tax burden less then the profit of selling at .03 and buying at .02. For alot of people who bought cheap it want. Just think about it. If you make $3000 dollar just to buy a swing did you make more in the swing then the $1000 you paid in taxes. Of course if you don't plan to hold Q into next year then it doesn't matter anyway.

so are you guys saying if QBID gets to .05 by the end of the year is it gonna go back down around .005 again is that why you think people might sell and get back in if it drops back down that low. I just dont understand why some are saying it will retrace back to around .005 after it goes all the way up to .05 when other people are saying they think it will hit .25 by middle of next year or even earlier.
please explain i am getting confussed i know its because i am new but i really dont wont to get rid of this until it reaches atleast .50 and i still wont sell it all until atleast $1.00 or more a share.

Thats not what we are talking about in a retrace. We are not saying it will go back to .005. What we are saying is that all runs retrace a little from its high. Example, the last run went to .028 then retraced to .0183. You never see a straight line on the charts of any stock. They go up and down and back up. It just a adjustment when something moves fast. That is why charts look like mountain tops. Once it retraces thought it can and will this time go back up and past the previous mark. Then retrace and go up more.

Gay cable channel launches this week
by Larry Buhl
PlanetOut Network

Is the U.S. television pie big enough for more than one LGBT-oriented cable network to take a slice? The executives at here! TV and DIRECTV think so, and they are rolling out a new subscription channel on Wednesday.

By offering a subscription service 12 hours a day, seven days a week, reaching DIRECTV's audience of 13.5 million, here! TV will become the nation's first all gay and lesbian channel, getting a jump on MTV's upcoming Logo channel by just a few months.

Here! TV has already built up brand awareness by providing pay-per-view service in four-hour programming blocks or on a monthly subscription basis. On Wednesday, here! TV will offer the 12-hour programming on DIRECTV channel 190.

For the first year, here! TV will offer a mix of 25 percent original and 75 percent acquired content. Stephen Macias, spokesman for here! TV, said some original programming will include genre films, such as mysteries or thrillers, but with a gay hero or heroine. Planned content includes the upcoming adventure film "Deadly Skies," starring Antonio Sabato Jr., and "Here Family," a newsmagazine about the complexity of families today.

With "mainstream" TV increasingly courting LGBT viewers with programs like "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," as well as Canada's PrideVision and newcomers like Q Television, one might wonder whether it makes business sense for two new cable programmers to stake a claim with LGBT audiences. But competition is not the biggest concern, according to Macias.

"There will be some programming overlap (with Logo and others) but if you look at the size of the country, there needs to be more than one gay and lesbian channel. Our audience has been underserved. A bigger challenge for us is trying to be all things to all people because we're serving a gay and lesbian audience that's as diverse as America itself," Macias said.

The company also offers a wide spectrum of local marketing support, including local film festival sponsorships, targeted mailings, community events and giveaway promotions. Such marketing efforts suggest that here! TV plans to aggressively court the gay and lesbian consumer market, currently estimated at $450 billion.

Many of the feature films will come from licensing deals here! TV has made with TLA Releasing, Wolfe Video, Strand Releasing and Regent Worldwide Sales, giving the channel access to nearly 200 LGBT independent titles.

If here! TV's strategy pays off, it will also be a boon for independent filmmakers who want to expand their audiences beyond the art house or festival circuit.

"Our emphasis has always been on theatrical releases," said Marcus Hu, co-president of Strand Releasing. "But it is possible to showcase new films and give them a life on cable first. Even with all the channels out there, this is an excellent way to get exposure for new works."

Macias added that, although there will be programming overlap with Logo, the 24/7 LGBT network to be launched by MTV in February, the subscription-based model of here! TV will allow it to be more risque without offending advertisers.

The advertiser-supported Logo will be available on cable systems in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia and San Francisco, reaching 10-14 million homes by the end of 2005. In addition, Logo plans to offer a companion subscription video-on-demand service.

I'm saying it may retrace tomorrow, I think if it does it will be to the low 4's but that's it.
I see this run going to .03/.05, Some profits will be taken here....A retrace I don't think to sub penny. An uptrend has begun......
Someone show a chart with a good uptrend for the man, I (am sad to say) can't find any in my port. LOL

No only kidding. I have sold some along the way......Will sell some again at my price. But now keeping a core for the long haul.
Sold all of my .0009 between .003 and .019, made some sweet money but I'll never see those .0009's again.
Kickin' myself.....but,,,,,,,Got's lots at .005 that will seem insane at .50

I'm rambling......better get to sleep.

Nite all

Really bugs me how Here! gets all the attention because of the carriers they have. Come January, and the PR about QBIDs large carrier, all news about GLBT television will be about QBID. Can't wait.

yes but Q gets mentioned and compared to them. that is free advertising.

how many times do you look at the smaller company when you are looking at buying something. the underdog has to outperform to play in the same forums. this does not go unnoticed.

Some people don't like dealing with the big guy. if that was the case Dodge Chrysler would have disappeared years ago. nothing wrong with being number 2 or 3. when you are number 1 there is only 1 way to go from there.

i would be happy being number 3 and working up from there.
GLTA tomorrow

Been thinking on this one for awhile and still not sure. either one or could even be a dark hanging man. But if we continue a run then we could have a large gap that will retrace. Tomorrow has me stumped, is my best answer, lol.

I don't think thats the case. Here! isn't really a dominant player so to speak. From the sound of the article it makes them sound terrible to me. I know about QTN so I shouldn't really say that. Here! only has 12 hour blocks now and only 25% of their content is original. QTN has a 3 hour live block out of 24 hour programming and most of their content is original already. Logo hasn't put out a single second of programming and is getting more mention because of the relation with MTV.

If QTN was the main network mentioned to describe the demand for a gay network, the article would have been twice as long to describe how great QTN's programming is.

In my opinion none of the players are a major force yet. Logo if any only because of the resources they have to bring out a product.

Anyways, yea free advertising as little as it was. They could have at least mentioned where/how/ and what carrier QTN is on. Matt

Matt,
About as funny as_
lol..Heard your parents we're killed in an auto accident...Here,check out these pictures of the mangled and charred bodies...

Didn't really need your snapshot..the drop in pps was enough of a clue.
What is 100% is the fact that we invested our hard earned money.

Your comments and tone we're neither needed or appreciated.
Oh yea.... you're part of this family...your care and concern are underwhelming.

Morning All!!! What a terrific day, I managed to pick up another million at .0046 early in the day and then sat and watched the ticker all day. Doesn't sound exciting, but yesterday was. Finally got my core position and some to play with. Looking forward to today.

Have A Great Day!
