Is insider buying a true indication of value? In many cases it's not an indication at all. Insiders know that their actions are scrutinized and they may want you to think exactly that. Real insider stock holdings may have already been sold off well before the action thru hidden third party interests (i.e.; investment groups/individuals, holding co.'s, etc.). Look at who the principles of holding and sell-off companies really are. Oftentimes they're selling only one or two stocks (a dead giveaway). Insider buying may be done with only pocket change to mislead the public while the real game is elsewhere.
