I would like to know what are the best indicators used by successful traders for a technical analysis? For momentum plays? For chart plays? You know what I mean? Besides the RSI and the MACD and the bolligner bands... what are the signs that you check to put a stock on your watchlist?

Thanks.

It's not really a matter of best.. but matter of preference.. if there were only "best" ones then everyone would be using those and not considering any others... and if you are asking what signs to look then you do not know how to use indicators/oscillators and should be reading a book on them.. btw I hope you are not looking for indicators that are complicated.. because simple ones like RSI and MACD do the same job with less headaches...

More specifically, my question was: on your streamers, what indicators du you use and in what degree? For example, for the volume... to get interest in a specific stock, how much the actual volume needs to be compared to the daily volume for it to pop on your sreen and get an alert? It is just an example.

I would like to know, considering the fact that some people are mon comfortable with some indicators than others, at what level does your interest in a stock becomes serious? At 2X the daily volume? At an RSI of 30? When it hits the 50DMA? A certain combination?

Is it clearer if I ask the question that way?

Thanks.

I use RSI, MACD, BB's, CCI, Parabollic SAR, Full Stochas., Accum./Dist., and last - but not least - Chockrin Money Flow to see where
the dough is going.
