That's funny Jo.

Research research research, and even more research. And if you can, visit the company yourself. Many start on the PK or the OB because they can't afford the other boards or meet their requirements. If they have been a PK or an OB for a very long time then they will probably always be where they started and are probably in dilution heaven letting shareholders pay for their annual bonuses and summer vacations. Having close to 1B outstanding shares is a pretty good indicator also, especially if you can't see what they are doing with those shares. The key is to research and find out just how easy it is to see what's going on and what they are doing. If you have to dig like a mole to find out something that should be RIGHT IN FRONT then that would be a pretty good indicator that they are either not trying to meet the shareholder up front or they are hiding something. And for Jo, I will say XKEM has shown that. There is some really good info in the newb section on how to pursue the right stocks so you don't fall into that trench of hype.

XLPI

"We are positioning XcelPlus to become a dominant force in the expanding ethanol and biodiesel fuel markets. Our next step is to have XcelPlus Global Holdings fully reporting and trading on the OTCBB before the end of the year. Being fully reporting will provide credibility by giving our operations as much transparency as possible."

http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060714/0144389.html

They also just issued a bunch of spin off shares. I'm holding a few shares for a while to see what happens. And, since they are only about 2 hours from where I live I can go kick their azz if they turn out to be a scam! do your own DD.

annnd, Mr. Brad Novak replied to my e-mail.sent today 12:51..

Mr. Novak,

Just a quick question. Your company just issued a spin off number of shares. I have been looking to try and find out what this is about. They show as no symbol and no value.
I am here in Virginia (Norfolk area) and heard of you guys from a friend on the stock forum "Allstocks". Good to hear you are doing well with the company. Seeing a company up front with the share structure and the future plans really adds to the transparency of your direction.
Best of luck and I look forward to your reply.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Jim ******

with.....received today 1:01..

Jim,

Thank you for the kind words, as its always appreciated to have the support of our investors.

The spin off shares are for our newest soon to be publicly traded company called Global Holdings.

For more info go to http://www.xcelplusglobal.com/index.htm

Once it is trading, you will see a new symbol and stock price.

Global Holdings will hold all our patents and formulas and will receive royalties from XLPI as they sell these products to the market.

Keep in mind that the shares you've received are restricted for one year(until April 2007).

Hope this helps.

Brad

Now that's communication.

On the 'etrade' thread on the top - gave this site that is absolutely fantastic - Everyone that trades should see and know this - A revolution may start in the WALLSTREET circles.
We have more people trading now than ever before and WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO SPEAK!!!

GO TO: 'businessjive '- Fantastic!! I have experienced and documented this to the tune of $50,000.00 losss to me. I've written the SEC/NASDto no avail - just as it says. I have made files and beautifully documented portfolios.
It happnes all the time!!!!!!!!!
BE YE AWARE.

Last piece of good advice:
DO NOT - I SAY - 'DO NOT' succumb to the HYPE of the PUMPS sent to you in brochures and booklets in your home mail boxes - YOU'LL GET SLAUGHTERED - it is a pump and by the time your investment clears - You will be dust - the price will fall and you will be stuck and cannot ever get out or take a profit.
BE YE CAREFUL - make sure you see the figures. the Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 and the financials [Which also can be a cover up and nor show you the profits]!!!
YOU JUST CANNOT BE CAREFUL ENOUGH!!

Sincerely, Truthfully,
Lucky

More true on the BB & Pinks than anywhere else.
Both are easily manipulated XG's.
NASDQ., AMEX, and the NYSE are more stringent
and less prone to con-artists and MM schemes.
Stop losses are allowed on the latter whereas
not for the former.
If you're going to play in pennyland
YOU are the stop loss and you hafta
watch your back continously.
Otherwise stick with the AMEX or NASDQ.
where you have protection from the above.
Unfortunately, you will NOT find pennies there.

I do like this board better than a lot for the fact that honesty is accepted.
There are some others that BASH the postor for his/her honesty and honest FACTS.
HORRIBLE!!
There is some partiality here and duplicate threads exist where some are not allowed - need to be more consistant - what goes for one - goes for all. No one owns a thread or thought or ticker symbol on the boards.

In Truth,
Lucky

hi jo4321 xsnx you nailed that one on the head! seriously for the benefit of the newbies you have to be able to recognize a stock for what is is -- some are great long term others are scams / pump and dumps / etc. you can make money playing the scams but you have to be quick and careful imho!

remember there is atleast 2 sides to the story and the true is usually a blend of the two. pumpers and basher together can paint a better picture than without each other but you have to make the final decision yourself.

s.t.o.c.k.l.e.m.o.n.com and s.t.o.c.k.p.a.t.r.o.l.com (without the "."s) are website to book mark. be cautious of warrants -- stocks ending in W or Z. for that matter if the symbol looks odd ask around. glta
