News today (revenue!): Virtual Ed Link Wins New York State's CoSer Contract Status Market Wire "US Press Releases " FAIRFIELD, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/20/08 -- Virtual Ed Link Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VRED), the developer and marketer of the leading edge technology platform for VELI's School Safety Management System (SSMS), announced today that it has gained placement in BOCES, the New York state aided procurement program. BOCES (Board of Cooperative Educational Services) in New York State qualifies vendors in the CoSer (Cooperative Services Agreements) program as a service to the more than 600 school districts in the state which spend over $5 billion annually on goods and services for the school systems. Over 80% of New York schools use BOCES to purchase Information Technology services which represents the VELI category. The acceptance of Virtual Ed Link in the BOCES CoSer contract program is a testament to the reputation VELI has earned for implementing its comprehensive solution on time and on budget. CEO John Bay stated: "Securing this approval is a significant step for both us and schools concerned about bolstering their security measures. Qualifying schools can now easily channel state funds toward establishing the VELI solution at their respective campuses." South Colonie is one of the school campuses in which the VELI System is in the final project delivery phase. Michael Marcelle, Superintendent of Schools for South Colonie Central School District in Upstate New York, said: "Our confidence in the VELI staff and solution is unlimited. We've found they deliver what they promise!" Virtual Ed Link has made significant progress since our inception. The demand for VELI's life-saving product continues to grow at an accelerated rate that we did not anticipate. Virtual Ed Link's focus is to establish our SSMS as the standard for school safety. At this time we feel it is prudent to raise our 2008 revenue forecast from $3 million to $4-6 million.
Demand for School Safety Solutions Reaches an All-Time High

FAIRFIELD, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/21/08 -- Virtual Ed Link, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VRED), the developer and marketer of the School Safety Management System (SSMS), announced that new Federal legislation is mandating schools and colleges to implement a comprehensive security platform in order for the school to remain eligible for Federal funds and grants.
The Laws S1642 and HR 4137 now require campus compliance for Safety and Crisis Management under strict guidelines. The campus must have a Crisis Management Plan if it is to seek Title IV Funds such as Pell Grants or Perkins Loans. Campuses that do not comply with these new laws face losing Title IV funding and could face other penalties or sanctions.
The VELI SSMS platform, already being implemented at campuses around the country, provides and exceeds all of the requirements currently being mandated in this legislation.
CEO John Bay stated: "This government legislation confirms that our approach is right for the need and right for the time. VELI is setting the standard for security platforms in education. The company continues to review its revenue projections for upward adjustment in light of this new development and the resultant surge in demand that we have already begun to feel."
Virtual Ed Link has made its mantra a "culture of preparedness" that establishes the planning, training, and teaching necessary to help save lives in times of crisis. The demand for VELI's life saving product will continue to grow as campus administrators recognize the VELI System as the standard for school safety.

BOCES CoSer State Funding Helps Administrators Secure VELI Solution
FAIRFIELD, NJ--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 26, 2008 -- Virtual Ed Link, Inc. (VELI) (Other OTC:VRED.PK - News), the developer and marketer of the leading edge School Safety Management System (SSMS), announced its activation in the elementary school of the South Colonie Central School District.
ADVERTISEMENT The initial activation will take place at the Roessleville Elementary School in Saratoga Springs, New York, one of three schools in the district. Activation in the Middle School and the High School will be completed in March.
Superintendent Michael Marcelle stated: "The administrators and the parents in this school district have been searching for a security solution that will give us confidence that our school children and all associated with the school district will be prepared and protected. The VELI SSMS solution meets that objective perfectly!"
The first activation will occur over the next two weeks in the district elementary school, followed by the district middle school and high school before the end of March. Altogether, the school district indicates that their community of nearly 5,000 students, parents, teachers, and administrators will be active registered users of SSMS by April 1, 2008.
VELI receives a licensing and customization fee as well as $4.95 annual fee per registered user. The South Colonie School district indicates that a portion of these fees will be satisfied through the newly announced VELI entry into the New York State BOCES CoSer funding program. The CoSer program is geared to the needs of the individual schools and districts in New York that install the safety and security program.
CEO John Bay stated: "This VELI installation represents the first one paid for in part by government funding. I'm happy to see that state and federal funding programs are beginning to step up to the plate and help school campuses secure our VELI system. South Colonie represents the first in a long line of schools now in the process of securing and implementing the VELI safety solution through the assistance of state and federal funding programs."

3. The competition that can truly compete with the completeness of VRED's VELI solution hasn't arrived yet. VRED currently occupies a monopoly-like position in an area with significant and growing DEMAND. Ruminate on that for a bit friends and neighbors. :-)
4. From what I understand, the company is launching an aggressive marketing campaign...both to secure more schools and increase investor awareness (esp. non-iHub money). There's a rumor that..... :-)
5. This is a socially conscious company/stock. There is a "feel-good-about-it-ness" to being an investor here. Whether you care about that or not is not the point. The point is smart money knows the kind of company that will attract money and grow a substantial shareholder base. FWIW...I DO care. I dig this stock and I'm glad to be a part of a company helping schools/kids to be safe. It's a good thing. http://tinyurl.com/2udoao
8. Low float! Easy mover. When the momo hits this one...it will be parabolic. :-)
9. It's a company in it's infancy and yet it ALREADY HAS REVENUES. Two PRs ago the CEO stated they were revising the annual revs from 3M to 4-6M. Then in the last PR he said they were re-evaluating that number in light of the demand they're feeling from the recent legislation mandating tighter safety standards at school campuses.
VELI Projects One Million Registered Users of Its School Safety Management System in 2008
Market Wire "US Press Releases "
FAIRFIELD, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/28/08 -- Virtual Ed Link, Inc. (VELI) (PINKSHEETS: VRED), licensed marketer and provider of the School Safety Management System (SSMS) acknowledges that its partnership with Atlantic Energy Companies (www.atlanticenergy.net) and agreement with the Clements Group LC (www.clmgroup.com) to jointly sell the VELI SSMS to schools, community colleges, technical institutes, and universities around the country is receiving overwhelmingly positive response.
Thus far, sales contacts have occurred in over twenty five states to over six hundred community colleges and technical institutes along with hundreds of public and parochial grade school districts. Furthermore, the recent inclusion of VELI in the BOCES CoSer fund in New York State continues to cause widespread activity from NY school districts looking to implement the VELI solution through the assistance of government funding.
VELI is on course to sign contracts in the near term with several new school districts and colleges that will result in approximately 250,000 registered users before June 2008. Based on the present rate of growth, the VELI leadership conservatively estimates one million registered users will be on the SSMS platform by year-end 2008.
CEO John Bay stated: "In addition to the licensing and customization fees that VELI receives for implementing our solution in each school, VELI receives $4.95 per registered user annually. With all indicators pointing toward demand for our product increasing, coupled with an aggressive campaign to make schools aware of the solution we provide, we anticipate 2008 to be a banner year for VELI."
