The campus must have a Crisis Management Plan if it is to seek Title IV Funds such as Pell Grants or Perkins Loans. Campuses that do not comply with these new laws face losing Title IV funding and could face other penalties or sanctions.

BOCES CoSer State Funding Helps Administrators Secure VELI Solution
FAIRFIELD, NJ--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 26, 2008 -- Virtual Ed Link, Inc. (VELI) (Other OTC:VRED.PK - News), the developer and marketer of the leading edge School Safety Management System (SSMS), announced its activation in the elementary school of the South Colonie Central School District.
ADVERTISEMENT The initial activation will take place at the Roessleville Elementary School in Saratoga Springs, New York, one of three schools in the district. Activation in the Middle School and the High School will be completed in March.
Superintendent Michael Marcelle stated: "The administrators and the parents in this school district have been searching for a security solution that will give us confidence that our school children and all associated with the school district will be prepared and protected. The VELI SSMS solution meets that objective perfectly!"
The first activation will occur over the next two weeks in the district elementary school, followed by the district middle school and high school before the end of March. 3. The competition that can truly compete with the completeness of VRED's VELI solution hasn't arrived yet. VRED currently occupies a monopoly-like position in an area with significant and growing DEMAND. Ruminate on that for a bit friends and neighbors. :-)
4. From what I understand, the company is launching an aggressive marketing campaign...both to secure more schools and increase investor awareness (esp. non-iHub money). There's a rumor that..... :-)

9. It's a company in it's infancy and yet it ALREADY HAS REVENUES. Two PRs ago the CEO stated they were revising the annual revs from 3M to 4-6M. Then in the last PR he said they were re-evaluating that number in light of the demand they're feeling from the recent legislation mandating tighter safety standards at school campuses.

I might be looking to get in tomorrow if I have my funds cleared getting upset with eturd on how long its taking for my funds to turn up on a "quick transfer" this stock could be very hot the next couple of weeks as it is unfortunatly school shooting season (sorry to say but its that time of the year)
