I also agree. I think we are finding a bottom around .03 which is a 50% retrace of the last run. I say we give it one or two weeks before some more stellar PRs come out and we start the new climb up the mountain.
Still waiting for the new website to come out. If it is anything similar to maxims interactive website then we should see a huge increase in Salon City subscribers/readers. The company is only in their 4th issue. Also awaiting approval from the SEC on the uplisting, we should hear something around mid september on that.

I'm with you sniper. This is good for some good gains from here. IMO Even with the MACD turned down I am optimistic. We are seeing highter lows and the MA(50) is climbing and showing good support. IF not this week next week latest IMHO we will start our next climb up that mountain.

Salon City, Inc. Files First 10-Q To SEC; Overall Revenue Increases 20% 9:30 AM ET - BusinessWire
Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) reported second-quarter and first-half 2007 results in its first Form 10-Q, being filed today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. From 1 January to 30 June, SCI's overall revenues increased 20% compared with the same period in 2006.
SCI president and CEO, Steven Casciola, offered a cautious reaction. "Our revenue patterns are still evolving," he noted. "Higher ad rates and newsstand sales contributed to the increase. It will take months before we start seeing predictable results from our expanding media initiatives and investment spending.
"In March, we took our six-year-old trade magazine, Salon City Star, and re-oriented it to a 100% consumer-focused publication called Salon City. The company is still in the year-long roll-out stages of establishing the magazine's frequency, circulation, distribution points, advertisers, and sales.
"With a 'consumer only' magazine, our B2B revenue was reduced. Beginning this fall, we intend to gain it back -- and more -- with our new media products. On balance, we're in the best position of SCI's history to grow revenues and shareholder value."

Casting Begins for New Salon City Web Series Tuesday 08/21/2007 9:00 AM ET - BusinessWire
Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) announced today that it has begun the nationwide process to select the host of its first original web series.
"It's very exciting to begin casting," said SCI president and CEO Steven Casciola. "Our magazine is all about glamour, lifestyle, beauty and entertainment - and our series host will bring the magazine to life."
Applicants are invited to submit a video explaining why they would be the perfect host for the series. Each video must be 2 minutes or less and be uploaded to YouTube.com with the tag 'Salon City Casting.' The resulting YouTube link, along with contact information and acting experience resume (if any), should then be emailed to casting*matrixxpictures.com.
The series will be produced by matrixx, a leading production company headquartered in Santa Monica, CA. Van Vandegrift, who most recently Executive Produced "Kings of South Beach" starring Donnie Wahlberg, will Executive Produce this as yet unnamed series. "We're looking for a hip, fashionable individual who loves beauty and the world of celebrities," said Vandegrift. Experience in front of a camera is helpful, but not required. "This is an open casting call," added Casciola. "We're looking to discover talent."
The online series itself will be comprised of two-to-three-minute scripted episodes featuring celebrities and personalities from Salon City and the world of beauty entertainment. It will also serve as the anchor of SCI's new Internet programming vehicle, Salon City Network (SCN).
Submissions are due by September 4, 2007.

Salon City, Inc. and Fountain Capital Fund Resolve Dispute 9:00 AM ET - BusinessWire
Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) announced today that it has resolved its outstanding claims against Fountain Capital Fund, Inc. and its principal, Garland E. Harris. Under the terms of the settlement, Fountain Capital and Harris have reimbursed Salon City, Inc. for specified expenses, and returned shares of SCI stock that had been transferred to them. In exchange, Salon City, Inc. has dismissed its pending lawsuit against both Fountain Capital and Harris.
Harris, president and CEO of Fountain Capital, stated, "Mr. Casciola and I have come to an agreement that enables us to both move forward in a very strong and positive manner. I personally feel good about the prospects for Salon City, Inc. in the future."

I saw the latest issue on the rack at Target, plastered with smokin' hot women (the magazine, not Target). The full 2-page ad inside the cover for Neiman Marcus was a good sign. I'm still hesitant to buy more shares because of the 180 this thing pulled though.

(OTC:SLON - News) announced today that independent auditors Lake and Associates CPA’s LLC, with offices in Schaumburg, IL, and Boca Raton, FL, have begun auditing Salon City, Inc.’s 2007 year-end financials in preparation for the company’s filing of a Form 10-KSB with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
ADVERTISEMENT SCI’s accountants submitted financial statements this week and are working with the auditors to provide the necessary information for the audit to be completed so that the Form 10-KSB can be filed. The audit should be finalized within a few weeks.
