Cotton, President & C.E.O. confirmed today that management representatives from Daye Steel, the People's Republic of China, will arrive in the United States before the end of February to finalize negotiations and contract terms and conditions with CWRN for the off-take of up to three million and six-hundred thousand (3,600,000) dry metric tons (DMT) of its Mindoro Island, The Philippines, Nagsabongan Iron Ore Fines; over a thirty-six (36) month period of time. CWRN will load and ship twenty-five (25) thousand DMTs of Magnetite Iron Ore Fines per week from the Wawa Port on the Verde Island Passage until such time that higher capacity loading facilities can be put into place. The Iron Ore Products will be sold as Free On Board (FOB) Port of Wawa at an estimated contract value of one hundred seventy-two million and eight hundred thousand dollars ($172,800,000.00). CWRN has set its guaranteed minimum iron mineral (Fe) content at 65% raw crude iron ore. The magnetite rich Nagsabongan Iron Deposit's average Fe content has been assayed at 67% Fe from the core drilling program that was completed in October of 2006. CWRN holds approximately one hundred and fifty million metric tons (150,000,000mt) of iron ore deposits on Mindoro Island, the Philippines, which include an estimated twenty-eight million metric tons (28,000,000mt) of high grade magnetite in the two (2) Nagsabongan Iron Deposits. The contract team from CWRN will be comprised of Robert L. Cotton, President & C.E.O together with Ms. Sharon Vazquez, Vice President, International Business and Mrs. Jinglan Cai Brinzer, B.E. of CAI Mineral Group, LLC. A meeting is tentatively set with the Daye Steel team in Las Vegas, Nevada around the 25th of February, 2007.
CWRN is eager to begin its Mindoro Island Project and hopes that the Project Financing can be completed by the end of February. The management of CWRN is mindful of its shareholders and will diligently negotiate terms and conditions that it deems the most advantageous to the company and its shareholders interest.

CWRN has stated in an earlier news release that its Mindoro Island magnetite iron ore deposits are valued at near $6,000,000,000.00 at the current FOB market price.

The coming week should be huge for this company. By their own accounts, their Mindoro Island magnetite iron ore deposits are worth nearly $6,000,000,000 at current prices. On February 25th, their contract team and top officials will be meeting in Las Vegas with management representatives from Daye Steel of the People's Republic of China in order to finalize negotiations and contract terms and conditions for the sale of up to 3,600,000 dry metric tons of iron ore to Daye Steel. The Ore Products will be sold at an estimated contract value of $172,800,000.
That's a lot of business for a penny stock- especially one that‘s currently trading at just .0004 a share with a market capacity of under $163,000. What is no less significant about this, is that due to the high quality of the ore, a stationary processing plant is not needed. Instead, the ore can simply be crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned on its way to the transport facility. This means that no money and time will need to be expended in the construction and up-keep of a stationary facility, and far less steps will be involed in getting hte product from mine to market (less venture money for construction, labor, specialized equipment, no bottle necks/ down time at the processing facility, less chances of accidents/mechanical failure, less maintenance, no need to lug the ore to a processing facility before re-lugging it to a transport facility, etc.)
This could be compared to finding oil reserves of gasoline grade underground that don’t need to be refined first, but rather, can just be tanked or piped through screens on their way into holding facilities. Compared to tradition needs associated with mining, this lode must be very clean.

Sorrry N-VEST-R- this is (sub)pennyland- I wouldn't even want to guess. Maybe a week from tomorrow when news comes out, we can see where it looks to be heading then. This coming week should see a nice increase as well, but next Monday will be 'the day' for this to begin to show its longer-term intentions. This stock hasn't really moved much despite there being quite a few PRs over the past 2 months. That could be a good thing.

Keeping in mind that the deal has to do with supplying iron ore to the growing market of China, take a look at what happened to BEIC Friday on news of increased supply of iron ore to China‘s iron deficient manufacturing infrastructure.

http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=beic&sid=0&o_sym b=beic&freq=1&time=6

I am not saying that this is a guaranteed thing- this company has had several disappointments in the past. All that I am saying, is that

CWRN has plenty of iron ore.

Chinese manufacturers are in need of iron ore.

Daye Steel procures iron ore for use by Chinese industries.

CWRN and Daye Steel are meeting to discuss an agreement to get the iron ore from CWRN’s holdings to Daye Steel’s property.

It should be an interesting week. I have sat and watched other deals fall through on this company in the past, but I feel that is actually going to help this in the long run. Since many people are jaded towards CWRN due to the past, volume hasn't arrived to take this one anywhere. So when/if things start happening for CWRN, and the volume comes in, this one has a lot of room to move up. JMHO

the great thing is the price is so low now it dose not take a lot of money to get a lot of shares and if it just goes up to where it was at its 52 week high, you can have a lot of money. And if it dosent you really dont lose to much money, yes next week should be interesting

Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. Sets Daye Steel Contract Meeting for the 3rd and 4th of March, 2007

RICHMOND, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/26/07

Cotton & Western Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CWRN) Robert L. Cotton, President & C.E.O. confirmed today that contract talks with China's Daye Steel will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 3rd and 4th of March, 2007.

Daye Steel has asked for an increase in the original proposed off-take of iron ore fines, from 3,600,000 dry metric tons to 9,000,000 dry metric tons over a three-year contract term. The increase in production would not be a problem for CWRN; however, loading facilities at the Port of Wawa can not accommodate vessels larger than 15,000 DWT. The Company is currently looking at alternative means of loading larger volumes of materials. Offshore transfer loading is one possibility or putting into place a floating dock at 16 meters of draft, comprised of spud barges with a floating conveyer belt less than 200 feet in length. CWRN management hopes to have the problem solved before the end of this week.

If the company can put together a loading system capable of handling 300,000 dry metric tons per month; the estimated Free on Board (FOB) contract value would triple from $172,800,000.00 to near $518,400,000.00 over the 36-month contract term.

Iron Ore Fines will be mined from the company's magnetite rich Nagsabongan Iron Deposit's on Mindoro Island, the Philippines, where the average Fe content has been assayed at 67% Fe from the core drilling program that was completed in October of 2006. CWRN holds approximately one hundred and fifty million metric tons (150,000,000mt) of iron ore deposits on Mindoro Island, which include an estimated twenty-eight million metric tons (28,000,000mt) of high grade magnetite in the two (2) Nagsabongan Iron Deposits. The contract team from CWRN will be comprised of Robert L. Cotton, President & C.E.O together with Ms. Sharon Vazquez, Vice President, International Business and Mrs. Jinglan Cai Brinzer, B.E. of CAI Mineral Group, LLC.

CWRN has stated in an earlier news release that its Mindoro Island magnetite iron ore deposits are valued at near $6,000,000,000.00 at the current FOB market price.

i called a rep. at etrade and he said it did go to .0039 for a second he said he did not see it go up in increments as stock usually dose, and the only explanation he could figure out is that a mm bought shares at that priceand then it dropped right back down to .0004 again not giveing anyone any time to sell.Ocourse neither one of us could figure out why someone would buy shares for .0039 when they could of bought them at .0004-.0003
