no dave, and I really don't expect to until they get going in early november. so, my advice is to hang on to what you have until then, or flip this thing until then. I am doing both.
interesting, you seem to have some stars now...

I was in since .0065, so I flipped last week, may enter again later. With no news, traders get bored. No one really knows what is going to happen with this. So, people sell because they don't like the unknown. My chart now shows a downward trend. I could see this hitting the .017 range before it takes off again.
That is simply my opinion. This could really take off someday. I will be watching, especially in the beginning of november.

Global Diamond Exchange Expects Sales Office to Be Operational by the 1st of November Sep 26, 2006 11:43:00 AM
NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/26/06 -- Global Diamond Exchange (PINKSHEETS: GBDX) is pleased to announce that it expects its sales office, located in the New York City Diamond District to be fully completed and operational prior to the 1st of November, with the first diamond shipment expected to arrive around the 3rd of November. Both are timed to coincide with the beginning of the 2006 Holiday season.
The company has recently decided to open its wholesale office at 2 West 46th Street in New York City to take advantage of the increased demand in the United States for fine quality wholesale cut diamonds. Due to a change in Russian law the company has exercised its option to import rough stones based on a percentage of their cut polished export quota of stones from Russia. The company has contracts with Russian cutters to cut and export these exquisite brilliants from Russia.
The Diamond District, which is located on West 46th, West 47th and West 48th Streets between Fifth Avenue and the Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) in midtown Manhattan, is the perfect location for Global Diamond Exchange. The Diamond District is within walking distance of many New York City attractions, one block south of Rockefeller Center, three blocks south of Radio City Music Hall (along the Avenue of the Americas) and three blocks south of St. Patrick's Cathedral (along Fifth Avenue). It is also just one block east of the Broadway Theater District.
About Global Diamond Exchange:
Global Diamond Exchange originally opened their office on 2 West 46th Street in the heart of the 'New York's Diamond District'. After several years of operation at their New York office the company decided to shut down the operation due to low pricing and soft demand in North America. The company concentrated its efforts on exporting cut diamonds from the Russia Federation and European locations. The new company has reopened its sales offices in the original building ready to take on the increased demand for fine quality diamonds.

last week I said that this would hit the .015-.019 range before bouncing. It hit .019 today.
I still believe this could be a great play very soon. But I do think it will touch the 50 DMA at around .016ish before really bouncing northward. I'm not the best at charts, but that's what I see. penny_ta (ihub) said I needed to go back to school last time I posted a chart when the SAR flipped, but it is telling the story...

If you are seriously considering vesting in this company you may want to look more into the history of Alex Livak. And even though Gordon Forgey is reportedly not a part of GBDX his history with Livak is relevant. Livak is also with http://www.safepaysolutions.com/index.php which I am still looking into.
http://www.shopadf.com/ViewArticle.aspx?id=547 "The Global Diamond Exchange (OTC GBDX.PK) will wholesale rough and polished diamonds, according to company spokesman Alex Livak. The company exports rough and polished diamonds from the Russian Federation and other diamond producing regions Livak told Rapaport News. The company announced to investors on September 26 that it would open a diamond sales office in New York by November 1, 2006, and expects the first diamond shipment around November 3. The Global Diamond Exchange said it would office at 2 West 46th Street in the diamond district. Global Diamond Exchange and the World Wide Cannery and Distribution (WWCD) announced the two would merge on September 22. Alexey Cherebkov is listed as president of the Global Diamond Exchange. The name and business model change was the second in 2006 for WWCD, which began the year in Largo, Florida, under a different corporate name. Up until March 22, 2006, the company --led by then CEO Gordon Forgey-- operated as publicly traded real estate company VWAY International (OTC VWYI.PK,) but it changed business models and company name to WWCD in order to enter the international food distribution market. On April 5, Forgey and the company's board resigned and WWCD's corporate location changed to Belleair Bluffs, Florida. While WWCD traded on pink sheets as WWCD.PK, the company reported acquiring a seafood factory in Prague, Czech Republic, on April 10. WWCD sold the factory June 13, for GBP1.1 million ($2.08 million) and declared its stock was debt free. WWCD announced to investors on June 13 it would concentrate on growing the container shipping business -- a more profitable component of food trade. The company's next announcement was to change business models into the diamond wholesale trade in September as Global Diamond Exchange."
searches for Alexey Cherebkov provided no results prior to GBDX.
Gordon Forgey- http://www.secinfo.com/d123Y7.v2b.htm VWYI.PK says not valid on pink sheets but shows .06 on yahell. VGSE.PK the history of this is just off the wall. Diluted every chance they could up to 5B shares.
Back to Lavek - Individuals Barred Pursuant to NASD Rule 9552(d) Alex Livak Astoria, New York (August 29, 2005) - needs to pay the $25k by 17 Jan 07. If this has been dealt with I haven't found it.
There is much more with other stock symbols Levek has been with through the years that should be reviewed. but one interesting item is their new web site offers no contacts, no names to faces. http://www.globaldiamondex.com offers no names of personnel owners or operators. Still Nevada registered. I haven't found what it costs to rent the office at The Global Jewelers Building 2 West 46th Street, Suite 704 New York, NY 10036 (212) 221 0910. Still plenty of questions. My advice would be do your DD and proceed with caution.
